The employees there are very pleasant and helpful. The menu is good if your sort of tech savvy. The food is good if you select the right kind of meal, such as the turkey, gravy, stuffing and cranberry hoagie. This wawa is never that crowded and it is also clean, so its good for me to come back to it.

I was there this morning to get gas. I went inside to pay because I wanted to get a cup of coffee. I was standing there in line and a guy cut in front of me. The cashier continued to ring him up. He had a pocket full of change to boot. All the cashier kept saying is I finally got change. She didnt even apologize for ringing him up before me. Very unprofessional.

They are a quality bussines that do listen to their customers.They make some real good sandwiches and excellant coffee.Been a customer for many years.

BEWARE IN REAR PARKING AREA. Refused to provide me with a bag citing some DE law, and then proceeded to tell me I could purchase one. Absolutely terrible. So annoyed by this. Provide your customers with bags brown paper or not.

This Wawa used to have great customer service. Since they have new people working here.... their customer service has gone downhill fast. This seems to be the late afternoon shift. After I post this I will be trying to eat my meal from literally inside the bag because they cant seem to master closing the lids on the dinner bowls. Their newer employees are rude. Shout out to Florence and the people working at 4/5 am. They give great service.

The SLOWEST WAWA EVER ! lines always take forever including deli ! & the cashiers are just absolutely miserable & don’t know anything about there products . Have to tell the cashiers multiple times what kind of cigarettes & still grab the wrong ones 3 or 4 times . Terrible .

I applied for a jobthe manager has the nerve to call and ask for rebecca.....when you can clearly tell she knew who she called and then I call back cause i looked the number up and she said the position has been filled. What a liar because if it was filled you would not be calling.

Entered at a slow time, only about 3 customers in there aside from myself... deli order took no less than 15 minutes for one sandwhich. Multiple people behind the deli... hands me a bag with honey mustard all over the handles??? Thanks I guess...

The customer service at this Wawa has exceeded any other Wawa location or other convenience store I have been to. I had an issue with the amount charged on my gas purchase early one morning but I was running late to work so I had to call the store about the charge. Daniel was kind enough to review the video footage of my gas pump to determine what went wrong and discovered that someone had stolen gas from my pump while I was running in to get coffee.In no way was Daniel obligated to refund my money because I shouldnt have left my pump unattended in the first place (and I NEVER will again!) but he pretty much followed up with me and said mistakes happen and refunded me what was stolen from my card. Hopefully, the store is able to catch the guy stealing from peoples pumps and file a police report using the footage form my incident.Note to anyone at ANY store: DO NOT...DO NOT leave your pump unattended at any time. I was lucky enough to have a worker that went above and beyond to help me with the theft but I cant say that for anyone else this could happen to.

Terrible customers service, they have over stuffs working, but all they do is just walking around in the store,have four counters but three are them always close. There’s always a huge line due to the other close countrie. Almost go there every night but not even satisfied once with the customer service. The store need new management.

Wawa has all things convenient one can think of. Some have Super centers where gasoline pumps are available. Crowded mostly all the time but a fast paced environment.Great coffee, snacks, etc.

If i could give zero stars i would, this place was atrocious, by far the worst wawa experiences ever. Stood in line for 45 minutes for a sandwich after i had already paid and went to my car to pump gas and came back in. There were more security guards(about 4 or 5) while only two ppl are making sandwiches. Not only is there only two people making food they both continuously are leaving the counter back and forth leaving one alone or none at all. After waiting for the circus to prepare my food i got the most pathetic excuse for a sandwich that i have ever seen. i am regular at other locations and order the same sandwich often. This is a disgrace for people spending there money to deal with be cautious going here.

They were out of 1/2gallons of tea and milk since Thursday.

I live less then a mile from this Wawa so unfortunately Sometimes I have to choose convenience over quality but at this one They never get the food right no matter what time you go in there and they never give you the add ons you pay for like bacon, sour cream, avocado. I started being more selective and choosing things I assumed they wouldn’t mess up like a chicken sandwich but no they always mess up even by putting things I didn’t even ask for. The energy in the Deli is hostile, they are always arguing, cussing and being obnoxious in front of the customers like no one is watching and no one ever says thank you or have a nice day despite you being the customer . They serve the food sloppy and you can tell that none of them care about their jobs even When it’s slow inside . Their is also always bums and crazy people talking to them selves by the entrances so yeah this wawa is not a delight, only go if you have too but it’s definitely a place I avoid as much as possible now .

Great Wawa fare and prime location. Good hustle of employees given the volume of customers. Need to implement something to prevent excessive parking at the gas pumps while auto drivers abandon their vehicles to go inside for coffee or breakfast and dont move their vehicle to a regular parking space.

Why do I keep giving this place my business? Every single time I order food, I get charged for the extras I add, yet theyre never on the sandwich, the food is made sloppy, the associates are beyond unprofessional. 100% the last time I step foot in this abomination of a wawa.

Rude, disrespectful staff member who kept questioning and challenging my statement. Rolled his eyes at me when I said he was being disrespectful. Manager on duty was no help. Asked this male staff member the site number multiple times and he ignored me. A customer in the store kindly provided me the store number when he saw the disrespectful attitude. .Very poor customer service.

We love Wawa however this one is way to understaffed. 10 people waiting in line and one person on the register. I use to love this place but now I only stop if I have no other options.

If these walls could talk.......... This is a place Ive seen it all. Its honestly just a staple to the Claymont community at this point. Staff is usually nice the younger folk can be a tad angsty but I can only imagine the stuff they put up with working 12 hour shifts. Huge plus is its 24 hours, which after Midnight is when the most bizzare yet facinating in a way folk come out lol. I still find myself always coming back here for whatever little late night snacks or for gas. Even with the homeless people usually wandering about, people yelling / fighting, drunk adults and children staring at snacks and the lotto machine, severely tired staff etc... I wouldnt trade this Wawa for another gas station in the world. Truly is the gas station wonder if the world and for that I give it a 4/5 for having all the things you need in a convenient store from cigs to munchies any hour of the day. (5/5 in my heart for all the insane memories and things Ive witnessed at this twilight zone Wawa.)

Check your food before you leave. I bought a $7 bowl that had 1 scoop of rice and a few pieces of turkey on top. I wasnt even offered another one. Will not go back. Many more places to eat close to this wawa.

Coffee sells fast here and the staff is right on it refilling. Garden Artison Salad was really fresh. Valencia Orange Juice is Not from concentrate and no additives but is pasteurized. Friendly cashier was also very effecient.

Wawa seemed tok be a decent gas station. Very clean. Organized mini mart as well.

Update in 2020:Still awful. Saturday morning. Line with 20 people in it.Always a hoagie line. Always a loud beep that goes unanswered behind the hoagie counter. Dont come here. Consistently terrible.

Just finished being renovated. Completely gutted and redone. Very bright and clean inside! Occasional change bummers outside but definitely not constant. Recently hired security guards and started locking the rear entrance overnights. Not a terrible area, and Ive never seen much drama going on there, however not many places open 24-7 around so I think they do attract maybe not the best crowd, especially late night on weekends so I think having the guard certainly isnt a bad thing. I rarely go to Wawa on Naamans next to 495 yet I HAVE seen drama there, more than once (people trying to steal, yelling/arguing with staff, car accidents, ect.) So if choosing between the 2 locations Id definitely choose THIS location on Philadelphia Pike!

Will never come here again. Bought a drink and tobacco and received a speech about how bad tobacco is for you by the register person (mason) and received attitude the entire transaction.
