Update: my experience with T-Mobile customer service has been always so good. This is how you treat customers: friendly service, patient, and just genuinely interest in helping others with their phone/upgrades. Want to specially thank Jazmine for her friendly and kind service.
The T Mobile associate, Kevin, went above and beyond helping my husband and me today. Our issue was complicated and lengthy and he hung in with us as a consummate professional with a courteous and patient manner. We are very grateful to Kevin (and Jasmine too!) for their excellent and skillful customer service.
Excellent experience here. Had come to activate a cell phone. The rep showed me how to change the SIM card and then did it himself.Also spent time trying to understand all issues that I needed to resolve and was very helpful.Happy to recommend and come again.
I give one star because It doesn’t let me give no stars. Really bad customer service. I been there 4 times and the first two the customer service was 5 out of 10 and the last 2 was 0 out of 10. Their employees don’t care about what you want. They give you attitude and ignore you 100% they also talk behind your back with other employees and make you wait for long periods of time. When I ask for the manager they make me wait and then he was like, “ oh he just left”. I always recommend the store in Lakeview Ave.
We came to the store just to buy one SIM card no activation.And it took one hour and half . The store wasn’t even busy. T- mobile employees should learn how to multitask and scan and check someone out instead while the other customers remember how to log into their phones to finish their process. No one acknowledges people coming in and they text telling you to come in that they are ready for you and end up still making you wait more time inside. Rude employees and they are so uninterested to make everything easier for everyone. We called T- mobile they told us to come to the store and this is the way we get treated . They waste so much time !!!! Here’s are their names jazmine and (Jorge- Manager) Jorge he suppose to give the example to his employees but he was very rude and that girl name jazmine had a nasty attitude When she finally approaches us she was talking to was what a nasty attitude like if we did something to her instead of helping us she was on her phone No customers should be treated that way. I will like to speak on the phone with the owner of this store please . Thank you
Im a customer at the t-mobile on route 3 in Clifton. Excellent customer service. Last week I had a problem and Chris gave me advice and helped me out. When my phone was fully charged it would say 1 day and a certain amount of hours. He explained that it knows how much you use your phone. I removed Facebook and messenger from my phone and only have that on my tablet. Chris added the device care app to my phone. As of today when phone fully charged it is up to 2 days and 3 hours. Im happy
Terrible customer service, messed everything up. I told her I had to wait for an unlock to go through she was persistent on stating vzw phones came unlocked so I trusted her (my phone was bought out right ) . Come to find out she was 100% wrong. I was left with no phone no signal because of her. She wouldnt even admit she was wrong not apologizing nothing. On top of complaining non stop that this isnt her job ect. Well it is her job to activate line come to find out. She is aTerrible person and should rethink her career.
That one taller lady was miserable She didn’t have a name tag but I think someone called her something with a j. horrible customer service . She should be fired. That store is a joke.stay away go to a different location.
Jorge took forever to tell me how much my dad will be paying monthly. When we got there he said that my dad wasnt elegible for the promotion because he had sprint and then afterwards he said he was able to get the promotion. He seemed very clueless of the system. He was keep asking people how to get the calculator to determine how much the bill would be monthly.then he gave these amount that made no sense.He started saying that he could give us the 12 promax512 gb and the 12 promax 265 gb for the same amount monthly $82 a month .when i first asked him for the amount, He said to me he would go look at the colors in the back and I said my dad doesnt care about the color. We just wanted to know the amount of how much the bill would be. Was so frustrating!!! we were in the store for hours. Everytime I asked a question to him, he wasnt clear. He was keep changing the subject and would go ask busy employees, but wasnt straight up with the answer. You should train your employees better!!! He was very unprofessional. I was very dissapointed with the customer service at the store.We walked out of the store!!!

So I was recently at this location to fix my phone and the service was nothing short of exceptional. Between Jazmine Lewis, Kevin Torres and Charles Aguirre, I got all the help I needed. Mind you, I had gone to 3 different stores and this store was perfect. Rest assured I will be going to this location for my future needs.

I visited the clifton store location for my screen protector replacement. The store was extremely clean, the staff are friendly and there was very little wait time.I really appreciated how I was attended and will be looking to make my next purchase there very soon!

Jonathan the store manager on this store is not the best. He started well but once I signed the contract, he seemed bothered and was rushing me when I had additional questions. Not the best approach for a senior employee. I have had nothing but stellar service with t-mobile as a loyal existing customer. This has put a blemish on their reputation in my eyes. I will look for a better location. It is really unfortunate. I hope this was just a bad day. But it needs to be noted. As their is way too much competition out there and I can get bad service elsewhere #tmobile
I wouldnt go anywhere else!! I drive past multiple T Mobile stores before I get to my spot on Rt3. They are so helpful and explain everything perfectly youll never leave the store with any surprises on your bill. The best staff around and recommend it to all TMobile/Sprint customers

Worst customer service. I went there. They registered my name. They told me it will take about 40 minutes. Then, they called me and I told them I will be there in 10 minutes. They said ok and then when I went there they removed my name from the waiting list and made me wait another half hour. The manager has a really nasty attitude. They need to teach their staff and especially the managers. How to talk to the customers. Just because they are managers. They dont own the store and disrespect the customers.

So you see wasted my time in that fillthy place aside that this is Clifton wasted money going all the way there just to let me know that i wasnt allow to buy a phone until i get a passport or a licence i just say i use a ride to get there in this cold weather and then a passport why would i bring that with me not in the airport i would love to show them my ID just to know i dont aprove.
They dont sell anything in there mostly phones that are old news this is one tmobile store that should not exist
Had to return 2 items, didnt actually need the one item, the other item the photo case for the Note 20 Ultra didnt work well with the phone. Easy return process, no hassle and a great store to shop and buy in.
Embarrased never coming here again this tmobile in my opinion has to be the worst phone store attention very poor and mostly empty place no phones in stock.
Had an unreal phone conversation with an employee named jasmine. I called Clifton T-Mobile today, my usual store for the past 10 out of 15 years I’ve been with T-Mobile, and asked the woman jasmine if the store was busy. I ask this because not only is my time valuable, but I don’t want to be in a crowded store during a pandemic. The store really should be doing social distancing and appointments only and they are not. I was inquiring about buying a $1,000 phone, wanted to know if it was a good time to get the process started and she literally argued with me about answering if they were busy or not. She said “we’re open for business if that’s what you mean”...No I want to know if I have to stand around the store waiting with 20 people just to be seen, during a pandemic, which is important to me! felt unwelcome, uncomfortable. Also felt like they didn’t want to transfer all my data and the entire hour process it takes to get a new phone. I was excited to get a new phone, now I don’t want to go back.....
Staff could have better knowledge of the products they are selling
Wasted 15min just for the pricing of the pixel not to be accurate according to the sign advertised in the store. Asked the sales associate if it was a promotion and he did not know. This is my second time coming into the store after I had asked a about pricing for the pixel and I was told the price was accurate then when I come back to buy it I get a different story. Very disappointed.
My wife and I came to upgrade her phone from Sprint which TMobile is merging with next month. After leaving the sprint store and having a horrible experience, we came to TMobile where we met Jazmine. She could not of been more helpful and friendly. It took us a while to get what we needed but Jazmine was very patient and kind during our whole encounter and made sure we had what we needed and wanted at the prices we wanted. We had friendly conversations about everything and she is definitely a five star employee. If you need to go here, go to Jazmine.

I went to this location when the Belleville store didn’t have the phone I wanted. The staff was helpful but slow. With higher emphasis on professionalism and customer service, this store can earn 5 stars. Richard was especially patient and helpful.

Elena was PHENOMENAL! My mother just purchased a new car the night before and her phone was not syncing up properly with the car. We went there and Elena pulled out all of the stops to fix the issue. She came to the car (20 degrees out) to see what the issue was. Anyone else could have easily said its a phone issue not a service issue and moved us along. Instead she spent time with us figuring out what the hidden issue was and it was indeed a data issue. She adjusted the data that was being blocked in the phone and came back out to the car to test it and it worked! She was great. She is our go-to person there.If you have an issue go see her!!!!

Clifton location: Amazing team, immensely positive attitude and vibe from the entire support staff. Richard was amazing; he upgraded my phone in the least amount of time its ever taken, he was knowledgable about the products, the packages available and the costs. He was personable, friendly and funny. The entire team was pleasantly entertaining and made what could have been a boring and tedious task into a pleasant and fun visit.
Clifton location Best experience upgrading my phone, sometimes getting a new phone is worse then then getting a root canal...it can be long, boring and you leave confused.Todays visit with the customer service reps Ariela and Michael was great. All questions were quickly answered, accessories placed without me even asking and everything was done quickly, a good laugh and with a big heart. Good job Tmobile for hiring people with great knowledge in their field and heart!

No stars is the type of customer service youll get there. (Google requires you to give at least 1 star--unearned-- in order to post a review) The only time they will provide good service at this location is when they are making a sale, other than that they just waste your time and try to pawn you off to someone else. I agree with some of the posts Ive read on here. Good staff but man can it get busy particularly on weekends all of a sudden like. I would forget the quick stop shop here but sometimes youll get lucky. Ive moved to the best GSM phone carrier in the U.S. and havent looked back. Thanks anyways T-Mo.

I was pleasantly surprised by the wonderful service that I received in this store given the poor reviews. I was greeted when I entered the store, only had to wait about 5 minutes to see a representative, and Sandra was quick to take care of my needs.

All is great with service now. Read the entire review, both before and after we went back in today......This might be a temporary 1 star 🌟 review.But heres the current situation. We paid for the prepaid 2 months service with phone 1 month ago, and now ONLY 1 Month later our service was shut off adding for another payment!!We absolutely made sure it was 2 months and not 1 so we will be going there today to document exactly what they will do to correct/ignore with our problem. I will get every name that either helps or hinders a solution.This after I just finished reading all the reviews for this location. Pretty bad ones but my final review will be judged on our results today.Okay,so we have gone to the location and had the problem fixed! Jasmine took a lot of time out of her day to help us fix this problem. She was our original salesperson so we were glad she was working today!For some reason our 2-months prepaid turned off after 1 month and needed to be activated again for the second month. This did not cost us any more money but it did cost us time. The associate she was talking to on the phone did not seem to understand that we were customers in the store waiting to have her phone turned back on and were more interested in showing the salesperson how to do this for next time. I understand teaching your associate but when you have customers in the store they are the most important thing above everything.Since this review is only for the store I am upgrading it to five stars because both Jasmine and her manager were able to solve the problem in as quickly a fashion as possible. working in retail for years I understand they need to be patient when solving these problems so it did take about a half an hour however they did not give up on fixing the problem and through the process of sure it would be fixed and it was.I would also like to say that since Jasmine was not making any additional money on this transaction and there were many other customers in the store who got there after us accent on the word after we were glad that she did not rush us out but merely tried to help us as quickly as possible showing us she cared about our time.So if you read this entire review, congratulations, youve completed your first novel.
I walked into this store yesterday evening and there were a bunch of customers scattered about because there was no line or real order. A woman asked the male employee which customer was next, because she had no idea who was in front of her. He told her that she did not need to know what order she was in because the employees knew. She said she wants to know the order because shes a customer (which made sense to me because the amount of people in front of me helps me determine whether I want to wait or go to another store, especially if I have other things to do). He raised his voice and she told him to watch his tone. Then he shouted No you watch your tone! They went back and forth and the male employee was very nasty and rude! When the other customers began to notice, he backed down. I couldnt believe it. He was so macho and arrogant, it was disgusting. That store needs some structure. The female employee that assisted me was very kind and patient. The other female employees were also polite and respectful to the other customers.
I recently went into this particular store for the first time. My iphone7 came in the mail and I went into the store to set it up and transfer all of my information from the old phone to the 7.. Upon entering I was greeted by the manager, Manny. Despite being a busy week because of the new iphone release and the galaxy recall, wait time was not bad. Manny ended up assisting with the whole process; from transferring all of my information to even assisting me in packaging the old phone to ship back. Overall, very resourceful, diligent and courteous...
Visited the store several times over the past 2 months and always get the run around regarding my jump account. They never have the phones in stock and always try to force the more expensive phones on you.Customer service is severely lacking.
Let me just start out by saying I dont even write reviews. Manny Aldarondo was an awesome sales specialist. He was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and patient with me. Helped me pick out the perfect plan that fits my needs. Same goes for Zarfina (I hope I spelled it correctly) even though Manny was my sales rep, she was very helpful and chose a great protector for my phone. Make sure you see them when you go. You will not be sorry!
I dont know how this place exists, 3 reps not 1 could connect a phone every time there I have to set a pin on my account as the pin I set previously doesnt work overall with the exception of Edwin and a select few youre better off calling in and going online
I was there today for the first time.... a representative called Manny helped me. He had amazing customer service and his knowledge of apple produts was great... he help me solve a software issue on my iPhone and set up my new iPhone. He reset my password and made sure all my photos were passed to my new phone and all my info was there!!! I wanna tthank you guys
Oh man where do i start. on 6/28/19 my wife and i visited this place to purchase a phone and to port my line over to tmobile. i had narrowed it down to three. the s10+ s10-5g and the note 9. i asked a lady that works there if she can get me a print out of the specs of all three phones and she told me that they dont have it that i can go onto tmobiles site to do a compare of all three phones. when i got home i tried that but nowhere on the site is there a compare button at that point i realized that i was lied to. on 6/29/19 i went in again looking for the same lady to tell here that the info she gave me was wrong but i was greeted to a nice but not very help guy and when i explained everything from the day before he didnt seem like he did not wanna take the few seconds it would have taken to print out the three pages that would have helped me to make a decision that would have helped me to walk out of the store with a phone but instead my wife and i walked out empty handed. to think you lost out on a sale for giving out incorrect information and did not want to take the one minute to print out info that would have made the sale possible. i will surely be contacting my H.R. department to have the re visit the renewal of their business lines with tmobile. 300 plus lines

The staff were not helpful at all. Granted they were busy but this should not be an excuse. The store was disorganized and chaotic. Because of this I asked one of the employees, what is the system here? How do we get service? Very rudely he answered you have to check in and left me hanging. Another customer proceeds to tell me HE was the one that had to check me in. There really should be someone at the door doing this ESPECIALLY because it was so busy. Save yourself the aggravation. Go to another store.
Everytime I come here I have to wait for 3-4 people who come after me to be attend (I said after). I know what I want and am always ready to buy ask the people who work there. Not even a hello or I’ll be right with you. If you want to wait and be skipped, by all means stay here

I went to the store because they supposedly had one s7 edge left, when I got there they made it a big deal and started asking each other can I do the equal trade for the note 7 to the s7 edge and then they went to the back to search after I had spoken to Daniel on the phone and supposedly he verified while on the phone with me that they had an s7 edge.Then another rep at the store came up to me and demanded for me to turn off the phone while in the store I complied and turned it off once they verified in the back and supposedly called a managerto verify that they can process this recall for the note 7. Then while at the register the female rep comes up and starts saying to Daniel that I need to pay an upgrade fee I questioned it, then she said I have to pay an upfront fee, thats when I said how come Im on jumps on demand and why would I have to pay an upfront fee for this recall when I didnt have to pay from the note 5 to the note 7. Also that Im downgrading to a phone that came out before the note 7. I was about to be willing to pay the fee to get it over with but then Daniel starts asking me for the box of the phone which I dont have anymore its a box I dont keep the boxes, I asked for my ID and said to him you didnt say anything about the box while on the phone with me. This is the second time they have done bad service at this location last time they left me there standing for over an hour after actually signing in on the sign in sheet.
My review is for the Clifton store specifically, not Tmobile as a cellular service. WATCH WHAT THEY CHARGE YOU! I went in with my own SIM card and told the rep what plan I wanted when I came in to the store. I was switching from Verizon and was having difficulty porting my old number online, so I went to the store.The rep charged me for a SIM card (even though I already had one) and called it an activation fee. He also put an add on of $15 for the TMobile One +, which I did not want and did not ask for! At no time was this shown or explained to me that thats what I was signed up for.I called TMobile customer support, who were amazing - they credited me the $25 that was wrongfully charged and confirmed that there are NO ACTIVATION FEES when you sign up. I didnt realize about the add on until I was logging in online to set up my autopay. Called again and got it removed with no issueSo, watch what they do if you choose to go here. Check everything they are signing you up for and charging you. Dont trust that they are just doing what you asked.

We were greeted immediately. We checked the Samsung phones since my wife needed a new one. Then, I asked questions about our plans which they dont make money on. So, suddenly Richard was not so enthusiastic anymore to help us. We could feel that we were wasting his valuable time. It was not he said but how he said it. You didnt have to come here to ask about your plan. You can check it at home. Ohh really! Thanks a lot! I didnt even argued, just asked my wife to leave.
So far it was ok, seems like Ill be able to save money on our bill but was very disappointed in the deposit the wanted up front. I will update my review when this is complete.
5 stars to Zafira personally.I went to the location to add two lines to my account. I had a 1.5 y.o. with me. Zafira had as out of the door in no time with two new phones and an application for samsung tv completed.When i got home i realized that my device no longer streams videos. After spending hours with T-Mobile customer service, T-Mobile tech support and Samsung customer service, and reseting every possible and impossible thing on my phone, i went back to the store, as my device did not stream videos..Lucky me, i got Zafira again. She figure out the problem in 1 minute, placed a call to support ppl (who i talked for hours day befoe, and who insisted that it was my device, and had nothing to do with my account, they even transferred me to samsung customer support) and advised them how to fix the issue, she had me out of the store in 5 min with the working device. THANK YOU ZAFIRA. You are the best :)
Marlene, was the first impression you receive walking into this location. Her customer service seemed none existent. She took personal calls in front of customers and would leave her station to continue the personal call in the back room. All customers were standing around waiting to be helped. While two employees stood around having a personal conversation. Not the best impression for this location. Seems very little training goes into there employees and seems they have no top performers
Worst experience ever. I basically got ass rape by this store. 6 months paying for 4 phones that were suppose to be free, and i never got my money back. I would never recommend this store to no family or friends even any stranger to this store. Pls people when they tell you some is free double check b4 you get ass rape like i did.

Service in this store is horrible. First, as you arrive you stand in limbo as no one tells you the order people are being helped in. Its up to yourself to figure out who youre being serviced after. The employees have no sense of urgency whatsoever, even after seeing there were 5 people in line, they seemed to be fluttering around with no one to tend to. The manager just stood there counting us in line (really, he actually did it several times, for no apparent reason). A lady confronted him with all of this and he acted as if he did not care at all. GO ELSEWHERE FOR SERVICE.
Management is amazing at this location. Staff is always helpful with any and all issues you may have with your service or phone.
So i went to this store to cancel 1 of my 5 lines which i dont use. I had to wait more than 30 minutes!!! not only that i decided to sit down in the waiting area because my feet were in pain from waiting and just when i was next they decided to help someone who had just arrived there. Finally after waiting some more time i was told that i had to call customer service to cancel the line!!!Seriously!!! all that waiting for them to tell me that! Switching from Verizon was the worst move i ever did! when you go to their store they put you on a waiting list and you are free to walk around the store until your next not wait in line for 30+minutes plus they ask you your reason for coming to abstain from situations like this.

Horrible experience!!! Went in with my fiance to change service company as well as changing phones and when we walked in, one of the custermer service guy came to ask what we needed but was to busy looking at a tablet. When we told him that we were looking at the plans they had he walked away. Then while my fiance had one of the phones in his hands looking at it, another custermer service guy came and snatch the phone from his hands to show it to the custermers he was helping. We decided to leave the store without saying anything to find another store with better service.
Unprofessional and worse experience with customer service.i accidentally broke my phone, the manager said he is more than happy to fix problem. i waited for 45min, right before they closed they told me they cant help me with a broken phone and cant provide a loaner phone and i have to do a claim through insurance. they recommended i go to target and buy a phone!!!!!i was without a phone all holiday.
I went here twice in a week. Two different guys took care of me and both of them had no idea what they were doing. One of them ended up messing up my plan, and had no idea how the trade in promotion from that week worked at all. I ended up going to another tmobile location where they were able to solve the mess these guys did.

Dear T-Mobile,My entire family is on T-mobile for years. Today, I went to Clifton, NJ store just to switch from Micro-SIM to Nano-SIM and was asked to charged $20 each for something that is only sold for $3 in Best Buy now. This service used to be free. The manager Kirym (not sure spelling is correct) was not hospitable at all, or rude to some extend, and keep saying this is company policy without any other explanation. I like T-mobile so far until today that I do not understand why loyal customers like me are subject to as high as $20 charge just try to continue their use of T-Mobile. Furthermore, the manager keep bragging himself that he has been 13 years with T-Mobile as if my 5-year loyalty is nothing compared to him. At least, as a manager and has been working with T-mobile for 13 years, he needs to understand the importance of explaining company policies to customers instead of simply repeating that it is company policy. Too bad, I am now considering switching while I know they might not be better than T-Mobile, but todays experience really made me feel so bad.
I changed from verizon to tmobile and insisted that the girl doesnt change my nub because I was getting a very imprtant work phone call. I go home and call a friend and they tell me that my phone number is different. When I called tmobile and made the the change to my old nub. It took 24 hours for it to change and I missed the call and the job.
Worst customer service! I called beforehand to find out if they had X beats and told me they had several of them. I arrived a store 30 minutes after my phone call and they did not have The X beats that I Asked 4.
The must horrible experience ever I walk in to get my screen protector on my husband phone he has a Sony experia z3 and the girl there name Jessica press down on the screen so hard she ended up cracking the screen it not only was crack but it no longer could be unlocked it wouldnt work at all it would swiped for anything. So I complain the girl lie and they were rude and disrespectful I never had a problem going there till that day I was attacked by all the employee and they did nothing. I was mad and hurt. Luckily I call the actual company and they were able help me was super nice and got a new replacement at no charge at all. So please whatever you do dont go to this tmobile. And dont let Jessica touch your phone.

Paid off the EIP early and was told that receipt would be coming thru email (too lazy to print it out ) so I called them next day to send me the receipt but the arrogant and idiotic employee told me that she can’t find it and it’s not their responsibility to worry about it . Finally had to contact tmobile to resolve the issue and it did .Never go here !!
Very big store and many accesories from diffrent kind of phone its awsome
After I was put on a waiting list and waited for 25 mins I was told by the associate they had no phones all is on back order, why wait 25 mins to say that especially by the manager, the store manager here is rude and inefficient. I will not return to this store I prefer to go to newark believe it or not!!!!
Went to tmobile store to return an iphone. When I got there I was told I couldnt return the phone as I had forgotten the 4 digit passcode and it was locked. When I said I forgot it, Manny(a manager)I believe his name was, looked down at me for a while and obviously seemed annoyed and unwilling to help me. To make me feel even worse he asked me condescendingly, were you the one using this phone?, and you forgot the passcode for your own phone? He advised me to contact apple and looked at me in silence until I got the jest to leave as he couldnt or wouldnt find anyway to help me. He was snotty and rude just like the other comments had made about the staff.
Customer service was just OK.
