Worse service place ever. I had a 9 AM appointment and my car was taking in 3 hours later for a simple oul change. Unacceptable when you take the time to book the service. Perhaps they shouldn’t make as many appointments if they can not handle it.

If I could give Minus Stars, I would. Very bad service!. Too many cars to handle by few (2-3) mechanics. One mechanic cant dedicate much time on a car and their goal is to finish as quickly as possible to service a another. The management should resolve this. Turn times 10 days for new service appointment plus extra day to diagnose, plus extra DAYS for service. When it was Bell Ford services were done in no matter of a day.They had my car for 48 hrs. whole two days!, to do oil change, check why the engine light was on and while the car was there to check the reason why my focus hesitate while accelerate, shuddering, lose power . Two days after we got the car but the same problem continue .I am not a car mechanic, but I read and prepared myself before taking my car to check, so I am pretty sure that this has to be a transmission problem like many of the Ford Focus .My car shutters, slips, loses power or loses acceleration when accelerating from a dead stop, or accelerating in speed when shifting gears. This happens from a dead stop, when accelerating in traffic to merge, change lanes or pass a car; pretty much anytime the gas pedal is pressed the RPMs went up very slow and/or shudder and/or lose power, my car barley accelerated, it felt like there was no power behind the car, resulting in many near misses and almost accidents since the problem starts.I gave the same list of problems to a car mechanic, not from FORD and he said that transmission control module need to reflash.This problem is caused by a software issue with the 2014 Focus’s powertrain module. The transmission control module and the engine control unit is receiving the wrong inputs, so it causes the transmission to stall and jerk.This issue was addressed by Ford in a service bulletin and may require multiple software flashes to correct.But the Super Dupper Knowledgeable Mike, the mechanic, told us it was the CLUTCH although I mentioned to him all the problems that my car has are of a transmission with problem . My car is on Transmission extended warranty 10 yrs or 100,000 miles ( my car is 2014 model and 70,000 miles). So I believe I would have the transmission repair for free because of the extended warranty but his diagnosis was, the CLUTCH.I was a little doubtful of his diagnosis but we need the car back, my only transportation to go to work . How I argued with an expert? so we paid $1,500 to repair the clutch, and the same problem still there.The point is, my car was in service for two days and they did not fix the problem and charged us for unrelated issue. Two days after my car was out from the dealer repair service, the engine light turned on and the same problem continue.Unfortunately, I have to take the car to check again, after a month (HOPE THE MECHANIC DOES NOT COME WITH SOMETHING NEW to make us pay more money$$), but no appointment available until two weeks after, what a disappointment! I am afraid to drive the car like this, could cause a fatal accident or it could even put my life in danger, whom to blame for?HOPE THIS COMMENT DO NOT GO TO A WASTE AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT YOUR AUTO REPAIR SERVICE DEPT, THEY NEEDS MORE GOOD AND EXPERIENCED MECHANICS .

Just find a different dealer if you are trying to make a custom order and not willing to pay a markup of atleast $3k. well, if you want a stock and buy off the lot, expect to pay way more....I was there to order a Maverick and even though its a retail order and not a stock unit, they told me that they would still add markup on it about 3k on sticker price plus doc fees and title/taxes.

He was respectful of my time and made it an easy experience. In May my wife and I purchased a used Toyota Highlander from Bell Ford. We initially had a very good experience buying the car. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We had issues getting car insurance due to my foreign driving license. Bell Ford contacted the car insurance they use for their vehicles, and within half an hour we had insurance.However, within a week of purchasing the car, the check engine light went on. We still had to pick up our plates from Bell Ford, so we figured we would ask them to take a look at it.A month went by. With our check engine light still on, and our temporary plates about to expire, we called up the dealership. We were told over the phone that the DMV was backed up due to the pandemic, but we were allowed to continue driving with our expired temporary plates. Also, they would not be doing anything about the check engine light. While they were legally not obligated to do so because the car was purchased “as is,” we had expected them to at least do something considering the light went on so soon after purchasing the vehicle from them.At this point we brought the car to a local mechanic. He replaced the battery, which was “gone,” and the check engine light went off.Then about a week later, it was pointed out to me by someone that the measure that temporary extended expired registrations ended in December. We were lucky that we barely drove the car that week because we would have gotten pulled over for our expired registration. Bell Ford misinformed us and could have gotten us in serious trouble. When we called up Bell Ford for an explanation, we were told that they had our plates and we could come to pick them up. Unable to drive our car at this point due to the expired registration, we were forced to rent a car for me to go to an appointment upstate the next day, and then pick up the plates.The next day I brought our car to a local tire shop to get some air. I was told that the two front tires were “very bad,” and in need of immediate replacement.At this point, the check engine light also went back on. Apparently, the switching of the batteries caused the light to temporary go off. This time we brought the car into a Toyota dealer. We were told that the two knock sensors, the wiring harness, and the charcoal vapor canister have to be replaced.These are not issues that started the week we purchased the vehicle. Bell Ford should have known about these issues. The main reason my wife and I went to a car dealership as opposed to a private seller was to prevent issues like this. With full time mechanics on staff, we had expected them to inspect a car prior to sale, regardless of whether it involves a new or used car, from their own make or another. They sold us a car with a bad battery, worn down tires, faulty knock sensors, damaged wiring harness, and a leaking vapor canister.

Typical used car salesmen, dont trust them as far as you can throw them. I made it very easy for them - booked a test drive in advance, drove the truck for 10 mins, came back and asked to talk numbers. I offered them $44k out the door on a $45k vehicle, and said if they could make the deal work that would be great, if not I would walk so we wouldnt waste each others time. They tried to manipulate the numbers 4 separate times and even brought out the store manager and finance manager to convince me that I was getting the deal i asked for. Each time they came out they stuck a credit application in my face, pushing me to sign before we even had an agreed upon deal. Almost 90 mins later they finally conceded that the out the door price was going to be $55k not $45k. There were over $10k in fees they were trying to hide! I expect their to be fees when purchasing a vehicle and I expect salesmen to try and be pushy, but I dont expect fees to be 22% OVER the list price and for salesmen to try manipulate and confuse you into paying that much more. Dont go here unless you plan on paying an extra $10k over their list price, and if you do, you better know your numbers so you can call them out when things dont add up.

If you are unsure of trims / pricing of packages - be prepared to be lose your money. They tried to charge me $3000+ for a non existent appearance package for mustang Mach e select AWD with comfort/tech package ( when asked about what features are part of appearance package- they couldnt answer but said its for wheel locks.. and some mumbling ) and trim I was seeing had comfort/tech package part of the MSRP already added; the car did not have the actual comfort/ appearance package as listed on Ford website - they just copied the name appearance package and tried to sell a car which has no appearance package whatsoever . Not to mention the added markup of $2000+. I even dropped the plan of buying a Ford after this experience.

Long review, sorry. But please read about the service department. If I did, I never would have went here.**Keep in mind on this review, we had the car into this dealership in February to give it a look-over as the warranty was coming up and wanted to make sure everything was looking good**Fast forward to early May when we noticed radiator fluid leaking on the driveway. We called Bell and let them know. They were backed up and asked if we could bring it in the day after Memorial day which was 6/1. After we drop it off, we get a call that Tuesday, 6/1 that apparently there is frame damage, and from what, I have no clue. Car drove perfectly fine, no one hit anything besides maybe a pot hole. Also, the radiator was shot and needed to be replaced (keep in mind, 3 year old car, 7500 miles on it). But this is just where it starts. They told my mother in law on Weds (6/2), that the part was in. I called on Thursday (6/3) to see what was going on myself to get an update, and was told the part was not in yet as it was a special order. I also requested at that time to be sent pictures of the damage and was told theyd send them to me right away. I didnt get anything. We had to wait a few more days and we get a call on Monday 6/7 that the part came in, but guess what, the wrong one was ordered.However, one of the biggest issues I have is how my mother in law and wife were treated when they called. Very condescending, and insinuating that my wife hit something. My feeling is Bell missed it when they did the look-over in February and passing the blame. Just got the car back today (6/11), no pictures of course, more condescending comments about my wife getting into an accident. Just horrible customer service.I hate to say this, but after Bell having the vehicle, I really dont trust anything under the hood and thats a scary feeling to have. Do not go here, and if you HAVE to, make sure you document everything.

This dealership’s service department are extremely unprofessional and have zero idea what they are talking about. Can’t be bothered to get on the phone and resolve an issue they caused. All they will do is lie to you and take your money. It is advisable to seek out another dealership that doesn’t involve themselves in shady practices. What a scam. I wouldn’t even buy a car here again. Management can’t even be bothered to reach out and resolve the issue as they can’t even hire half decent employees.

Most terrible service I have ever got. I gave my car for oil change before the appointment time and I did not get any trade vehicle in return. On top of that there was no response from them regarding my car service status and when I called to follow up, Im told to call after two days. Who takes two days for an oil change and why take decision without asking the owner. Its supposed to be Ford dealership.. I did not expect such incompetency

Amazing service. The norm when dealing with a car dealership isn’t my favorite thing to do. But when my lease was coming to an end, I worked with one key person via email on a car that I had shown interest in. His communication was amazing and there was NOTHING hidden when the deal was finalized (only 5 days later). They brought the car to my house to test ride and sign the papers. My old lease was handed back in and the transaction was seamless. Thank you Bell Ford!

Atrocious customer service. People who work here aren’t helpful at all. Very unprofessional and unaccommodating dealership. You have to go back and forth multiple times to get anything done, and they just pass you over from one person to another. They don’t care about customers and just try to rip you off. Got my back windows serviced on my convertible Mustang because they wouldn’t go all the way up . I’ve been talking to Jimmy about bringing my car in for weeks I finally did and the staff were great Jimmy got them to take care of it for me, they adjusted both rear window regulators & roof. Everything is normal now all within a timely matter with no appointment was best part .

What an incredible easy and joyful experience. I was able to drive out of there in a new Ford Ranger in just under two hours. They didnt try any funny business and sneak in extra cost or anything. I have been a customer since 2011 and I have purchased a 2011 Ford Explorer brand new very happy with the deal. I then purchased a 2013 Ford F150 and was ok with deal. In 2017 in December I purchased a 2017 Ford F150 Bell Ford took me out of a lease from another vehicle and put me into a new lease for the truck I was very happy and the salesman was great. In Oct of 2019 I leased a 2019 Ford Ranger although the vehicle was very nice I was not happy in that type of vehicle after the high of buying was over. The salesman was polite and fair but I feel the lease monthly payment was a little to high but it was fair. I then was able to do a refinance on my house and get out of the lease. I then purchased a 2020 Ford F150 from a salesman I had done business with before and I was able to get a good deal that Ford was offering. I will say this about Bell Ford as honestly as I can. I always have been given a Fair deal and at times a great deal. Bell Ford has always treated me with respect as a loyal customer. If there ever was a problem the matter was taken care without a further problem. I trust Bell Ford to give anyone a square fair deal and you cant ask for more than that

I got a good deal on the purchase of a used pick up truck and the reason for that was I did my research both on my trade-in value and what they were selling me value. If it wasn’t for me doing my research they would’ve tried to steal the vehicle I was trading in until I called him out on it. They gave me one key that worked and one key that didn’t work The salesman promised that he would get me a second key and never came through on his promise that is the basis of my three star rating.

My son bought a car here with his hard earned money spend $11.6k a week later has $2k worth of problems an accident to the front that wasnt reported wheel alignment fails. I strongly recommend you bring your own mechanic!!!! Called them and they told me warranty only on drive train. I will never take my cash there again!!! No stars from me my son is really unhappy had to turn car over for lemon investigation.

Very bad service. They had my car for a whole day to check noise and do oil change. They were only able to do oil change, they did not test drive it and check what was wrong with it, and they kept my car overnight without letting me know. It shoud’ve been picked up same day. I kept calling and they kept putting me on hold. The girl working at desk doesn’t know how to handle phone calls and making appointments.Never had such bad car service before!Kept my car for 24+ hours for oil change only!

This included an air filter I had changed 3 months prior. Convenient not to put the declined service on my invoice. Problems with my Explorer also. Stealership.

I went to Bell Ford in Colonia on a whim, already pretty much decided on another vehicle, but by happenstance I went in and looked at a few Ford Explorers. Luckily, I found the car that Ive been searching for at Bell Ford.My salesperson, Victor Ventura, was the best salesperson for this vehicle. He made me feel comfortable with my purchase, never pressured me to make a purchase, and was incredibly accomodating. After experiencing an issue with my Ford F-150 alternator, I contacted Bell Ford of Colonia NJ to have my truck, that was purchased from this location and was still under warranty, to schedule an appointment to have it looked at. They initially asked if I could bring the truck in on Friday January 10th, 2019. I advised them that it wasnt a good day for me, due to this issue being an alternator issue, I was concerned that the vehicle would lose power while driving, therefore I asked for an earlier date. They said I could drop the truck off on Tuesday January 8th, 2018. I dropped the truck off on Tuesday at 6:30am and dropped the keys in the drop box. They called me that Tuesday and stated that the new alternator would arrive on Wednesday and the vehicle would be completed that day. At 3:00pm on Wednesday, I had received no contact from the dealer, so I contacted them to verify is the work was completed. They stated that they delivery of the alternator was delayed, which delayed the repair of my vehicle. I had no issue with the delay, I do have an issue with the delay not being communicated to me. I should not have had to contact them to find out there was a delay. I proceeded to ask when will the work be completed, the lady advised that the repair would be completed at 1:30pm Thursday afternoon. At 2:30pm Thursday afternoon, after no communication from the dealer again, I had to contact them to verify the completion of the repair. The lady explained to me that the was a backup in the shop and the truck had not been repaired at that point. She advised that the truck would be repaired would be completed that evening. I explained to her that I would be home from work at that point. I then voice my dismay as the vehicle had been at they facility for 3 days to have a simple repair completed. I then spoke with another gentleman from the repair shop at 3:30pm Thursday evening and he advised that the repair was to be completed by 5:30pm and we came to an agreement that the truck would be detailed after the repair is completed to compensate for the delay in the repair and the failure to communicate. On Friday January 11th, 2019 I arrived to pick up my vehicle. Upon my arrival, I noticed that the truck had not been detailed as we had agreed upon. The lady I spoke to stated that the truck had been detailed and looks beautiful. I thought that asking to have the truck detailed to compensate for their inability to run a satisfactory business, wasnt asking for much. I wasnt displeased some much with the delay in the repair, its more so that they told me that they were going to detail the truck, but didnt. Then lie to me and say that they did! That is was prompted me to compose this bad review. I understand that delays happen. Parts get delayed or things get backed up, I get it but, they need to learn how to communicate with customers and follow through with their agreements.

I came here 1/14/2020 to have some work done on my truck after dealing with another absolutely horrible ford service center earlier that morning. Immediately after walking into Bell Fords service department I was greeted by an extremely professional and helpful gentleman at the front counter. I apologize for not getting his name. He immediately addressed all the items I discussed with him and had my truck back to be fixed within 5 min. And ensured all recall items were addressed. I was kept updated about the status of my truck and all work was completed in a few hours. I had been a malouf ford customer for a few years but I will never go back there. Very nice place to visit. It takes away the whole, car buying experience, or should I say improves it. I was there for a view hours with my family trying to decide the best fit for us. The salesman was very helpful including allowing multiple tests drives by myself and also with my family. It removed the pressure of having to make a tash decision since the sales rep is usually right there with you. The manager Charlie even went a step further and got me an additional $25 off of my lease with no additional money down all thanks to a loop that he found last minute. Overall great experience and very happy with the Fprd Esxape titanium we ultimately leased.

I had a great experience at Bell Ford. Eddie was very knowledgeable and took his time with us. He answered all of our questions and provided high quality customer service. He took his time to listen and understand my family’s needs. The sales manager, Anthony, was also great! We are extremely happy with our purchase and feel comfortable in our new truck thanks to Eddie’s help with understanding it all! This dealership does not have the units that they show online. They made us wait more than 30 mins when they knew very well that they did not have what they advertised online! You have to be honest with your customers and not give them the run around.

While i would love to give 5 stars, I’m a little unsatisfied with the professionalism of a staff member. He told me 3 times that getting my brakes checked on the vehicle i just purchased wouldn’t be a problem.. but now is telling me that the brakes were already checked when i bought (which was on a holiday and there were no mechanics around) and that i would now need to speak to the manager who is “on vacation.” The car buying experience was nice. But the runaround now is not so nice.. and my brakes are very very squeaky

Purchasing my car at Bell Ford was absolutely the best experience I have ever had with any car dealership anywhere. My salesman Mike was the best! He was up front and honest .. He took care of me as if I was his own family member . He was straight forward-with me from the moment I walked in the door. .. I did not get jerked around with the usual back and forth haggling nor did I spend hours playing money games......which I have no patients for.The General Manager John was very considerate. He worked with me and made me feel comfortable ..The leasing manager Paul took care of all the paperwork for me and made the process very easy. I am so pleased with my car but more so I am greatful to Bell Ford for making my experience so wonderful. They are now my go to guys forever!!!!! Thanks Bell Ford!! and John the General Manager... Great job. U have a wonderful crew. Just love u guys!!!!

When I brought a car we agreed to the delearship is going to be replace it another day, becuse was late, completely understandable. But after a month never call me and when I call the told me service and parts didnt know anything about it. After I few calls and spoken with the managers told me okay to go and the tire is going to replaced, I got my appointment. When I got there the service guy told in the system is anything about it. Poor customer service and poor communication

The Customer Service at Bell Ford Wowed me! I was looking for a car and went into different car sites in my area. Bell Ford rep called me and invited me to visit and see what they had. The person on-line was Barry. I was told to ask for Tony. When I Arrived Tony welcomed me and introduced me to Michael. He was very professional and listened to my needs as a customer. He worked some numbers and showed me my dream car. I was happy and went for it. The finance department handled by Paul was very professional and he knew his stuff. All along the process they made me feel like a valued customer. They Wowed me! I recommend the service and purchase at Bell Ford.Like I stated early I did reach out and visited other dealers. The service drove me away. Bell Ford knows how to welcome you and listen to your needs as a customer. I recommend this place to purchase or get service. About 2 weeks ago after purchasing a used Ford Focus ST from a non Ford Dealer, I stopped by this place looking for a customer friendly dealership I could go to for servicing. I wanted to confirm the warranty on my vehicle and schedule a complete inspection, codes, diagnostics etc.When I walked through the door I saw several people sitting around seemingly not busy but no one even bothered to lift their head up and greet me, to ask if I needed help or anything. I just followed the signs to the service department. Cant remember the guys name if he even told me but I think he was Latin American. There was a woman and another guy there looking on. I asked if he could verify the factory warranty and if I could get diagnostics done.This guy proceeded to give me the runaround until my head exploded. Just an endless loop of nonsensical logic, conjecture and just plain rhetoric. Answering questions with questions. Just making up stuff on the fly that did not pertain to my question. Could he not easily check warranty info from the VIN#?? I figured I was asking for a simple thing but apparently not.Are Ford vehicles having so many problems that servicing is so backed up they dont want anymore business?? Whats up with that... No one gives a damn anymore, I miss the good ole days.Oh but it wasnt all bad. On the way out I stopped by a dark office on the left side going out and a man there was nice enough to take a few minutes to at least answer the warranty question.
