BAIT & SWITCH!! (Updated…)Be warned if they offer to buy your car and sell you a new or used car from their lot and to “work with you to keep the price the same.” Thought it was too good to be true (SPOILER: it was) but decided to see what I could get. Found a used car that I liked that was the same model with a few upgrades so I knew it wasn’t going to be the exact price. First offer they showed was over double what I’m paying. Second offer still had me paying around 66% over at 84 months. They then tried showing me cheaper and older models. I walked out. Don’t waste your time. At least I know I got a great deal on my current car not purchased here!UPDATE: got a call from Joe the GM. While we weren’t able to work out a deal where the price was the same as what I was paying, I did appreciate the overall discussion, the apology, and trying his best to work with me. Good customer service from the top! Wish it could have worked out but still happy with my current car.

I arrived at the dealership with my car in tow just before they closed. I had just seen my daughter off to the airport when I realized my keys were with her on the plane!!😢 I needed to get back home(150 mikes away) to take care of my disabled child I had left with a caregiver. Tracy listened to me and secured me with the last available vehicle to rent. I made it home to take care of my other daughter. I will never forget Tracy’s kindness!! Very disappointed in my used car purchase (2012 Nissan Rogue) at Germain Nissan. The transmission failed one year after my purchase. The dealership was only willing to offer a 10% discount on a replacement transmission and couldnt even give me a timeframe for when the part would be in stock. Nissan needs to address the failure of these transmissions at a corporate level and Germain should do more to assist customers who have purchased cars with known transmission failures at their dealerships.

I have bought many cars in my life and every single time I hated going into a dealership because I dont like hard sells or pushy people. I didnt have to deal with that this time. I walked in Monday to buy a pre-owned car. I first met with Karl and had an incredible experience. He was friendly, informed and got me through the process in less than two hours. During that time we conversed, shared experiences. He even made sure I was comfortable, asked me if I needed anything, even bought me a Coke. Over the two days it took for me to complete my purchase, I also experienced incredible customer service from Joe and Gary. All three gentlemen made my car buying experience beyond excellent. It was as though I was their only customer. Germain!!! You have a customer for life and anyone I know who needs a car, new or used, I will personally drive them to Germain Nissan!!

Got me in next day for an oil change and tire rotation. Was able to work in waiting area while car was serviced. I pointed out that cellular antenna was broken off in car wash but Chris replaced it as I was waiting to leave. Car started having issues (felt like traction control was lurching, pulsing) as soon as I merged onto 270N and dash warning lights came on for traction control and anti-collision sensors. Car went into reduced power mode, but I made it to Polaris. Dealership had a tech run up to to Polaris to plug into car to determine what issues were. Tech cleared mass air flow trouble alert and car ran fine. Tech was very good, checked the sensor too, offered to follow me back to 71N to make sure it was running properly. No issues since.

My experience at Tasty Dawgs both times it was excellent.. The first visit customer service excellent one of the staff member was taking out the trash but he took the time to explain the menu and gave me his observation of the food & what Tasty Dawgs has the offer. I do love hot dogs & excellent customer service….Both times I had the chili 🌶 & cheese 🧀 hot dog with white cheddar Mac cheese 🧀 very tasty…their 🍪 cookies are delicious……I do recommend this restaurant for who like variety of good food & excellent customer service!!!

They were professional and made things transparent, simple and pretty much effortless and they followed through on all the promises they made. I found myself in the need for a new(to me) used car. I must say that the 2017 Mazda CX-5 was the cleanest most immaculate used car I ever purchased. The treatment I received at the dealership and specifically Michael Banting was 5 star plus. You may ask what is 5 star plus really mean? The answer is, his honesty and genuine care of my individual needs was enough for me to get in my car, drive 277 miles from Lansing, MI passing by countless Mazda dealers along the way to buy my car from Michael Banting. That should tell you all you need to know about Germain Nissan of Columbus. I do find it fitting that I purchased a red/scarlet CX-5 in a Columbus Ohio dealership when I am as Sparty Green as they come, and yes we hate Michigan too!

I had spent the better part of a month researching, reviewing, and test driving new cars in the Ohio, West Virginia, and Kentucky tri-state areas. I was able to narrow my selections down to three vehicles, one of which was the 2021 Nissan Rogue. I was able to go online and see that this dealership had the body style and interior that I was looking for so I scheduled an appointment for a test drive of the vehicle. Upon my arrival I met Steve Mendoza and we talked briefly before getting behind the wheel for a test drive. (I need to say here that I truly appreciate the fact that Steve didnt tag along for the ride. It is nice to be treated as an adult and not have to have a chaperone on my test drive.) The car drove exactly as I had hoped it would and upon my return to the dealership Steve and I began to discuss the car, pricing, financing, etc. Although I know that Steves job is to sell vehicles, never did I feel he was pressuring me to do something that I wasnt able to do. He listened to my concerns and provided me with any requested documentation that I wanted. As we got closer to closing the deal I was able to meet John Guthmann. He and I were able to seal the deal in a short amount of time of give and take. Both men were extremely professional throughout. This was my first experience with a Germain dealership but I certainly dont expect it to be the last. I would whole-heartedly recommend Germain Nissan to anyone looking for a quality vehicle at a competitive and fair price.

Didn’t love the new car I purchased (elsewhere) in March, just wanted to see about trading it in. Your website had what I wanted. Came in to test drive, now I really want it! They did an appraisal but didn’t immediately have a price for me. Came in a couple days later, got a really good price for it, which enabled me to purchase from Germain. Everyone was wonderful, especially Zac and Deezy!

As someone who has always had a bad taste in their mouth about car shopping, I was so incredibly happy to eat my words during my experience with Nathan Miller at Germain Nissan. My husband and I came by the showroom to test drive a car, but because we were refinancing our home and I was 8 months pregnant, we were really adamant that we werent looking to purchase that day. Nathan didnt skip a beat or treat us any differently. He answered all of our questions and was incredibly kind. We loved the car and knew we would be back to lease through him. Over the following month or so as we waited to tie up some loose ends, Nathan politely reached out once or twice but was not pushy at all, just checked in. This past Friday I messaged him letting him know we were ready to move forward. As I am now 9+ months pregnant he made sure I didnt have to lift a finger! He found the new car I wanted, and DROVE IT TO MY HOUSE for me THAT SAME DAY. We filled out the paperwork at my kitchen counter, he drove off in my old car that I used as a trade in, and that was IT! The best, most pain-free, respectful car purchasing experience I have ever had. I will not hesitate to give Germain and Nathan my business again in the future. I am blown away. Thank you Nathan!

I have had the pleasure of Mike Banton assisting me with my vehicle purchases over the past 2 years, this man is amazing to say the least. I went around to every dealership in Columbus, and Nissan was my last stop. I was dealing with some serious life altering issues ar the time and was beyond stressed. Mike was more than a car sales man for me. The words he spoke to me that day, and the way he bent over backwards to make sure I was able to not only get a car that day, but the car I wanted as well!!! The way this man handles his work, it’s so much Deeper than car sales for him! This man is a blessing from God!! This place is beyond unprofessional and has no idea how to do customer service. I put a general inquiry on the website to see an estimate of what my current trade in value would be. They called and texted me day after day until I finally gave in to go get my car appraised. I had a set amount of what I was willing to pay and accept for trade in value. Then once I wasn’t accepting of their offer they began accusing me of having my bumper replaced because the paint didn’t match, etc etc because that’s how they came to their numbers. Then to make it worse after I leave they text my phone to inform me a 3rd time about my cars damage and pictures to back up what they are saying. I was simply firm with my offer and it should have been the end of it, instead they had to make false accusations and continue to contact me when I said I was no longer interested. Good luck if you go buya car from here, I won’t shop with Nissan ever again.

I just recently picked up my wifes car. They replaced the A/C compressor, and a control module for the seatbelts like expected. The service manager was friendly and informative about everything, but missed a few things.The part that I didnt like was that they did not inform me that the car needed an oil change while it was in their possession and they didnt refill the tires to their proper pressures. My wife didnt know about the tire pressure until after she had already pulled out and was gone for 10 plus minutes since it takes her car that long to recognize tire pressures. She left with the tire pressures at 19 psi, 17psi, 23psi and 25psi.

I brought my vehicle in for service and was able to get in the same day I called. It took a little longer than expected but they did exactly what they said they would do. Im accustomed to being presented with the oil change options to which I generally choose a high mileage option as Im just over 140000 miles. This was not given as an option and I just got whatever the tech decided on I suppose. I bring my car to the dealership because I expect expertise as the manufacturer of my vehicle. The service was good, attention to detail would make it better.

Max has been my go to guy since day 1 and he has always taken great care of me and my vehicle, so much so I have referred others to him. Very professional, prompt, and honest. Reviewing for my son. The experience and price were good but 51 days later he still does not have the Memo Title and therefore cannot get the vehicle registration. He wants to drive part time for Uber or Lyft and cant do that without a current registration.We bought a vehicle a couple of years back at Germain Lexus and did not have this issue.Calls about it have not been returned.Son drove there to see what was going on, title person was out to lunch...Update: About 60 days later, still no memo title. Apparently they sold the vehicle before they got the title from a wholesaler. Not sure if this is standard practice or not. Seems risky given that they’ve now exceeded the time allowed to provide a title to a buyer.

Update:. I was contacted at around 9am the next day from the manager to tell me they saw this review and were extremely concerned with my experience. They went to LENGTHS to make sure I was okay: the cost of the repair is going under warranty ($0!!!!) and they are allowing me TO BORROW A CAR while theyre working on mine! Im blown away. This went from zero to ten so quickly and Im incredibly grateful. I cried. I sat in bed and cried. I didnt know where I was going to get that money yesterday and now I dont have to worry. Thanks for hearing me Nissan. I didnt know you guys were even listening and Im glad to be proven wrong.........I went in for a diagnostic because my engine light was coming on, along with several other warnings. I was given a time slot and went in at 3pm that same day. I was NOT told, however, the price of the diagnostic itself was over $150, AND that my car might have to stay over night. So I didnt come prepared, even though my partner was perfectly capable of driving separately and driving us both home that day, which is wouldve done had a know to begin with. So an hour later I got a call saying they had to keep it over night because they didnt know what was wrong. And I had to spend money to Uber home.That was fine.WHAT WAS NOT FINE was them waiting until 2:30pm next day to call me to tell me that my car needed some rewiring that could cost OVER 3 GRAND TO FIX. He said my warranty did not cover it because I was 1,000 miles over the limit. So i asked him to negotiate prices with his higher ups, because A. he gave that as an option and B. Its a pandemic- who has 3 grand to just shell out?He called back a half hour later to ask what price i was comfortable with. I said $1300, because I honestly cant afford more.Its now almost 8pm AND I HAVE HEARD NOTHING.A courtesy call to AT LEAST tell me that it wont take til tomorrow wouldve been the bare minimum of customer service. They will now have my car for two nights, and I have no idea whats going on.

Generally good experience. They had the Rogue I wanted at a reasonable price. Trade in value was low, and paid too much for a protection plan for 8 oil changes and some tire rotation. If I was thinking better I would have had them remove it; especially given it last 4 years and I will pay for it for 5 years.

It was a great experience had an appointment with Steve Mendoza let him knowHow much we were willing to spend what we wanted our car payments to be and showed him the car that we were interested in test-driving within in 30 minutes of being there we were on a test drive. I didnt get the inspection and detailed printout I normally get but maybe things have changed or maybe my oil change and breaks dont get one. Anyway, not sure why service points werent applied to my account after the service and why I couldnt use both my service points a gift certificate coupon at the same time. The coupon doesnt state those restrictions. Overall, happy with the service.

Great experience with the service team as Customer Service Professionals. Was surprised they missed where a skid guard had come loose and didnt say anything though. Also didnt test the fob they attempted to fix until I pointed out it still wasnt working.

They failed to notify us that they didnt have our ordered part, so when we arrived for our scheduled appointment on a day my partner took off, they didnt have the part. All the hassle for nothing. Reschedule and just a waste of time and energy at 7.30am.

The sales manager, John Guthmann, was extremely rude and uncooperative with us. We were looking to lease a car and just see the offers for a Sentra, and John kept insisting to test drive the car, which is normal. We did not want to test drive the car at that moment (yes, we obviously would test drive the car if we saw a good offer to continue with a possible purchase) but he did not want to tell us any lease specials or talk numbers, until we test drove the car for whatever reason. I told him him multiple times we did not want to test drive the car at that exact moment and we just wanted to see some offers, but he was clearly speaking irrationally and not thinking about our needs first as the customer. Please explain to me why a sales manager is forcing us on a test drive or we are not able to talk numbers. And by the way, Germain Mazda and Lexus, where we have done deals in the past, never gave us these kind of problems when asking for lease estimates or talking numbers. Be better Mr. Guthmann, very disappointing.

I would rate at 4.5 if there was it because I never expected to go in for one minor correction and walk out with a dismantled system and three times the cost to repair. Max (as the kiddos call him Maximus the Great) advocated for me for sure and Germain made the call to adjust my fees. Twice an error not intentional I am sure occurred and the team have corrected the matter. The service manager who I have never met operates a culture of ethically folks. As a mom I return to you because I trust the experts to ensure the kids and me are safe on the road. Thanks!

My battery would go dead about every 4 days. I went in to see what was causing it. They spent one hour and a half checking everything out and found no reason for it to die But saw1700 dollars in other things that needed to be done on my car. When I asked about the battery. Their reply was that I didn’t buy it from them or I must be leaving on the radio. Really??? The woman who talked to me was very condescending. Being an elderly woman, I feel they were taking advantage of me. No I did not sign off on the repairs which they did not appreciate.

She made the entire experience a very pleasant one. It is so wonderful when someone goes a step above what is expected. I was extremely satisfied with the service that I received. Tracy took time each step of the way to explain what I needed to have done the day of my service and what I services I needed to have done in the future.She told me about how much time it would take for my car to be serviced. She went the extra mile to make sure I was aware of the drinks and snacks that were available and that I had access to whatever I needed to be comfortable while waiting. I am very grateful. I had brought my assignment to study. Being that it was so comfortable and I had all the accommodations I needed, including an area I cloud sit to charge my phone and lay out my material to study; I was able to get my lesson done while I was waiting.When my car was finished Tracy took time to make sure I understood everything and even had the details in writing for me to take home. She made sure to let me know if I had any questions to not hesitate to call her and ask. Plus they washed my car.Yes, Tracy was professional, kind, accommodating, her skill of communicating everything I needed to know was clear and easy to understand.
