Excellent quality products but with regular supermarket pricing. Well stocked and displayed produce department. Very friendly staff. Only draw back is small, poorly designed parking lot.

Great place to find odd diet items. The people are nice the stuff is pretty expensive but its a health food store so that is to be expected. Its a good option for people looking to eat a healthier way. I really like this store but I cant afford to shop there very often

Being a vaccinated person in the store they still treat you like a leper. Entering the store I forgot my papers like a good member of Fauci’s Youth, and was promptly kicked out. Even when remembering my papers I still feel uncomfortable showing my medical records to random clerks at stores and this really should be addressed; it’s incredibly invasive as well as embarrassing especially when other people are looking. It’s completely backwards when you have people at the same time as you’re being kicked out wearing masks covered in dirt, touching, and putting back all the food just for them to be touched by another shopper. If you want your medical records to be on full display, and to be treated like a tumor on society, then come to this store. If you wish to be treated like a human being then there is no hope for this cold, corporate shell of a store, run by brown shirts.

I really liked it when it opened but tonight staff were absolutely too busy doing inventory to help customers. I found an employee after searching for over 5 minutes, I watched her for a bit to ensure she was an employee and not a vender. I asked her where an item was and she pointed while giving me verbal directions. As soon as she finished speaking, while I was repeating back the directions she went right back to her counting and never checked on me again. I prefer to drive out of town than go back there.

Well laid out store with a generous variety of foods. Lots of great choices. Id get a membership, if I lived in town.

This is a very holy granola store. Most of what they have cant be found at regular stores so its a benefit for people looking for specialty foods. The items they have that cross over seamed to be quite a bit more expensive than at Fred Meyer or safeway.

Called, explained that I wanted rice wine vinegar, not wine vinegar, not rice vinegar but rice wine vinegar. The lady said isle 7. Got there, no RICE WINE VINEGAR. Asked her where is it? Sorry, I guess we dont have none. Thanks alot, 56 mile waste of time. Could have bought it off Amazon and had it delivered.

Its like a wonderland of things that are good for you... but it doesnt seem like you can do real grocery shopping here because everything is pretty expensive... too bad that if its marketed as good for you, they can charge you more... seems like they would sell more if they were to lower their price points by about 15%to 20%.. then it would be a healthy and affordable alternative to those other big box grocers...

Always find fun gluten free stuff there that I didnt know was available. The people there are willing to go find information if they cannot answer your question that is how very helpful they are! The one store I have no problems with asking for help because they are so nice so my anxiety is always low there.

Clerck told me that she needed my medical info to ring me up. She said osha and l&I said this behavior of asking for medical info is ok and that its a mandate. NOT TRUE! I called OSHA and there is no rule that infringes my 4th amendment or hippa rules. If you want to support the agenda to violate your own rights then spend money at this store

Incredibly friendly staff, they worked hard thru the worst of the pandemic to make sure the customers were safe and had what they needed.

It was either here, or drive to Eugene 2 hours each way. Prices only about 30 to 90 cents more per item, this is a much better choice!Im chemically sensitive, and this store has no extra fragrance beyond the stock.It also carries my favorite coconut bliss ice cream, in 7 flavors!

This place is the best! They are all about offering humanely raised animals which of course would include grass fed animals. I have never seen so many grass fed options or even dreamed they were out there! The prices were surprisingly low I think because they did offer so many items - they had to reduce prices at times which is most likely why I could afford so much. They also have a section for quick sale in the dairy section. Items here are truly price chopped. I purchase a lot of stuff this way. They do not sell ice. But other than that I highly recommend this store brand if your into your health or your weight 👍🏼I also was very surprised to learn that the treatment of the animal DOES AFFECT THE FLAVOR OF THE FLESH.

Looking for specific dog food. Very helpful all 3 ladies that helped me and the worker with black hair was very nice as well.My glasses sit funny with a mask so reading is not easy. I cant locate your nametag in my bifocals or it looks like I am checking you out. Lol.I purchased Dr. Bronners soap. Lovely . Very clean very organized wide aisles.

This was great to see on the coast! Perfect spot to stop and grab some road supplies, this is also the only natural grocers I have been to that has a beer selection..thats great!!

Excellent selection of gluten free and organic groceries. We try to come here often, especially when the local farmers market is not running. Decent meats, good produce and some hard to find flours for baking.

While they didnt have the deli experience that Ive grown accustomed to with other branches nationwide...i will say. Everyone was really sweet and helpful. Prices are fair.

Upon my first vist today just before 2 oclock to your Coos Bay location I was very disappointed.Two women were allowed to enter the store, shop and check out their purchases without masks completely ignoring the state law requiring masks in public places.Because of the lack of observing laws set forth by the State of Oregon and the employees to not address the issue with the two women we were very uncomfortable completing our purchase. After addressing the issue with management and recieving a casual response we left without checking out.By allowing the women to be inside the store unmasked not only put your employees at risk but also others shopping.Betty S

Excellent prices on vitamins. Some of the checkout staff needs to learn more about the business but since its new to the area Ill give them time. A little tiny produce area I wish it was a lot bigger, same with the meat and Dairy. But I do like shopping here. And so far things that I purchased in California are much cheaper here so Im very happy.

This particular location is fairly new to the area, and my friend was pleasantly surprised that they stocked all the vitamins and supplements he needs for his health. He told us that he and his lady would be going there quite often.The staff there was quite helpful, until I asked the cashier about any discounts for retired and disabled veterans; she became rather unpleasant at that point.Other Natural Grocer store we frequent in other States do give such discounts that I ask about, in addition to their member loyalty reward discounts and points.

Do you want to pay too much for your groceries this is the place to go but all their vegetables and things are fresh

Beautiful store, higher than expected prices, fair selection, poor customer service.The cashier #19214 was not friendly. We informed her it was our first visit. Crickets. She didnt show any interest in us at all. We had to ask for boxes to pack our purchases. Nothank you or please come again. She met by wifes attempts at engagement as distractions. The store wasnt busy so she wasnt rushed.Other employees walked by while we were shopping. No energy, no acknowledgment, no smiles.Store has tons of potential but no personality. We probably wont be back. Safeway employees treat us like family.

Great place for all your gluten free foods

This is the newest health food store in town. They also have a big selection of items. Unfortunately, that’s about all the good I have to say at this point.On the flip side, the prices aren’t really any cheaper than the existing health food stores and the check out process always takes longer here than anywhere else I shop.Taking bottles in for deposit was also very frustrating though, as the store employee warned me it would take up to 5 minutes to empty the two, roughly thimble sized containers of crushed glass. It turned out to be closer to 20 minutes without seeing anyone return with the empty containers before I finally had to leave to an appointment.To sum it up, I still shop at Bailey’s where they get you through the checkout line much quicker.

This is a great store, offering products that you would only find in much larger cities. I have shopped at many different Natural Grocers stores and this is by far the best. Dont pay any attention to the bad reviews since all of them to this point were written right after the grand opening. Obviously, the store is going to have long lines and some product out of stock. This is a great place to shop for sure. I get my wild game meat here like Yak and wild boar. Give them a chance, you wont regret it.

Nice clean store, wonderful deli serving sandwiches and yummie soups and salads. they support local farmers and have a beautiful produce section. staff is incredibly helpful and awesomely friendly. So nice to have a store of this quality and integrity in our small town.

What a shame!!!I have visited many Natural Grocers locations all over western Oregon, and this one has, by far, the worst customer service of them all! You will leave here feeling angry and sad, if not super frustrated.The selection is great and i’m happy that there is an additional option for supplements and healthy living in this area. In fact, the supplement section is massive. I do have a background in supplements and can navigate the aisles without help, but if you are looking for help in dealing with the endless options, you will not find it. You are way better off asking a fellow customer or doing your own research ahead of time.The employees have little to no knowledge about what they carry, and even worse, make zero effort to help. Many are downright mean and surly, like you’re interrupting their “staring into nothing time” with your question. How dare you!When you go to check out, you will again feel completely unwelcome, and at times you will even be ignored. The middle-aged to older female employees (which most of them are) choose gossiping and loudly complaining with co -workers or literally just standing and staring over even acknowledging you. If you are in a hurry, don’t even bother, as you will be in line for a long time, even if there’s only one person ahead of you.And this is even better. They really don’t offer bags, and WON’T BAG YOUR GROCERIES even if you do bring your own bag!! I even had one of these extremely rude ladies tell me that she couldn’t work the cash register and bag at the same time. I mean, need I say more? Multi-tasking with a modern POS system that basically does the work for you is quite the challenge, no? ;)There are a couple of employees who seem to try to treat customers like human beings, but only a couple. In such a sea of miserable, unmotivated employees, they can’t do much. I’m sure they’ll quit soon, as the turn-over here is very high-surprise.The two stars are only for the selection and products they carry. The atmosphere and people who work there range from frustrating and depressing to even infuriating. What a way to destroy a good store!I will not be coming back. The local food co-op and well as Bailey’s Health Food store have friendly and helpful employees who actually want to work. They will get my money going forward. The farmers market is where I will buy my produce.Considering the tragically bad customer service, this large and beautiful store is often empty. I don’t see this location staying in business for too much longer.

Fine for tourists, Californians and Applebees enthusiasts, but the locals I know gave up on this place some time ago. The bewildering array of vitamins is just that...the ones a person needs are still found at The Head and Bs. Way better food and a really quite good deli these days at The Head.I wont shop at this lying corporate mess. Support your local co-op, crazy as it may be, if you actually care about living, local foods. Not one bit of this store supports Oregon agriculture. No local foods -- even bulk items come pre-packaged from Colorado.If the employees seem untrained or unmotivated, its probably due to the incredibly high turnover rate. Nearly the entire staff (including management) had been replaced within 3 months. You can support the employees here by offering them work elsewhere.One good thing: a file cabinet full of health info found on the sales floor. Also, they do have a solid policy of what they wont carry in the store and why, which is a fine criteria to take shopping elsewhere.Good idea, but a horrible company greenwashing here in the PNW. Shame.
