I found this with just the right size for all my belongings. Place is very clean and staff are always there to help with any questions. I enjoyed my time there and so will you. I highly recommend this place.

Very seldom do I leave reviews as I feel they’re often not warranted nor the service I’ve received in the past was substantial enough to do so. This is one of those rare occasions. I had the pleasure of meeting David. He was friendly, cordial and over-the-top helpful. The facilities were almost too clean and well maintained. The property landscape and curb appeal was appealing enough to mention. The containers are more spacious than I’d expected as well. But most importantly, the security at this facility leaves no doubt that my property will be safe.

Extra Storage was extremely easy to deal with from reserving a storage unit on line to having a Live person follow up with me to go over everything. David was excellent, explained the contract to me, showed me to my unit and treated me like a customer should be treated! The units themselves are reasonably priced comp to other facilities. The staff was quite professional and helpful when I arrived to complete my rental. Seems like they really care about doing a good job and taking pride in their work.

Dave was great.I was on a tight dead line and my pervuous storage plans had fallen through combining this with vehicle storage is slightly complex with requirements for proof of registration and insurance (which I of course screwed up the first time).This could have made for a nightmare of a day, but Daves easy humor and competence made easy work of it.Highly recommended!

I am so impressed with your company!! I did not give notice that we were gradually emptying out our unit and was done sooner than expected. It just so happened that the day we finished with emptying the unit was the monthly billing date. They credited out debit card which I was so great full for as they did not have to do that. They have hidden fees and increased 3 times within 12 months. By the 11th month rate doubled. Wouldnt negotiate and I was an auto pay customer. No issues with payment and needed to have storage for another 2-3 years. I left

Extra Storage Space in Cumberland, RI (197 Dexter Street) is an excellent storage facility. The staff is helpful and always professional. The team helped me find the right unit for my needs and the monthly rate was very fair.I rented a unit for many months and found the facility itself to be very secure, I have been there to access my unit during both the day and night. The unit itself was also very secure and the lock I received from the team was a solid durable key padlock.Definitely will return to Extra Storage Space for any future storage needs!

Extra storage space Cumberland Rhode Island will not hold up to some of the options that they give for small businesses on their website which is extended hours its very disappointing. This company will not hold up to what they advertise longer hours for businesses which is needed especially in this after mass of this Covid epidemic

Both Gary and Dave at Extra Space Storage have been fantastic. I needed a vehicle storage compartment for my Corvette and Gary was kind enough to take me to one of the enclosed containers and show it to me. I spoke with both guys a few times on the phone and they were always pleasant and most informative each & every time. When it came time to renting a storage compartment Gary took me through every step of the way on the phone showing great patience with me. I would definitely recommend this facility dealing with either of those men 110%!!!!! Not only do they show exemplary customer service, they have some of the best rates around.

Dave and Gary at the Cumberland location were great. Unfortunately, there was a bit of confusion at first. I was told by the woman on the reservation line that my rate would be prorated because I was only planning to store my rv for a week or so. She told me that I would not have to pay the entire month’s rate and I had a rude awakening when I arrived at the storage facility and told that $110 was due. Dave handled it with professionalism, and I still stored my rig there, but felt duped that I was told anything by the reservation line to get me there.

At first I didnt think it was going to go so well because they wanted to do everything over the phone with no personal contact, but it actually went perfectly and everything worked out better than I thought. Thanks!!!

Dave Almeida was friendly, helpful, efficient & thorough. The facility is very clean, well lit (at night), & it has generous access hours (from 6 AM to 10 PM). Plus, they offer you a free, no obligation month of usage to become acquainted with their services. You cant be it!

Very smooth process to get a storage unit here. Great customer service! Everything is clean and well kept. Easy to find your way around. Prices are about average. The only thing I would suggest could be improved just for time/effort purposes would be if payment info could be done online versus over the phone. The process of playing phone tag to give credit card info was a little stressful/tedious in the middle of packing and moving, but it was just a very minor detail. Everything else was great!

Process was easy, everything was completed online after initial phone call to office. Went today to get keys and lock, etc. Again, straightforward and friendly customer service. Unit is huge and very clean, with very easy access. Masks and one customer at a time in the office due to Covid.

I rented a unit to store a car for the winter. There was a lot stuff to do on the web site so I contacted Dave and he was very helpful completing the process.

Gary was in the office when I arrived there on a Saturday afternoon, and he did a wonderful job of finding the best unit for us, and he described everything we needed to know in a very friendly and informative way.
