All set with this Uhaul location! Rude! Very rude. charged for an extra day for being 1-hour late to drop-off, which I get, but TELL ME at drop-off rather than my emailed receipt one hour later; I would have kept the truck for the next 23 hours that I paid for.
Horrible customer service at this place. Every time I have come to get propane its always an issue. Have to wait 20-30 mins to get one tank filled. Rediculous - rude lazy employees I will take my money somewhere else
The absolute slowest service imaginable. Its as though they enjoy making you wait. Pack a lunch when visiting this place.
Scheduled service to install tow hitch over 2 weeks ago. Arrived for my appointment and hitch not there. No phone call or email notifying me that hitch hadn’t arrived. I don’t think they ordered it. Customer service representative couldn’t care less.
I brought my car to have a hitch attached. When I picked it up you could hear it start and sound like it was about to die, mind you it was 2018 Infiniti. When I asked what they did they just said attached a hitch, but clearly more than an attachment. Thankfully my mechanic was able to fix it and attach the hitch properly, he informed me they had cut the frame and wires to my car.
So, I rented a van and everything went well until I returned it when I was informed that there was a spare tire hidden underneath the body of the truck, and that said tire was stolen. I recieved a call where the clerk on the other end accused me of stealing the tire, which I didnt. Then, out of no where, I was charged $400.Im fairly certain that this tire was not something that existed in the real world, but instead merely a fiction, invented by a struggling Ubaul branch that does not adequately check its vehicles before renting them out. I was with the van the entire time I rented it, and never o ce did I notice someone stealing a tire from underneath it, but maybe I just passed out and missed it.If I were rating this company on their ability to adequately scam their customers and thereby make moving harder and more expensive, then naturally Id give them 5 out of 5 stars. However, unfortunately, I am rating them on their ability to rent vehicles conveniently, which is why Im giving them 1 out of 5 stars, but I would rate them lower if possible.
My husband and I have had horrible experiences renting a unit here. Upon renting this unit, I was given a card that did not let me into the facility after business hours and was forced to keep my truck overnight. After being told I would not be responsible to pay the extra day (since it was their system glitching) I was still charged and they refused to reimburse me. The card did not work for almost 3 months even after replacing it multiple times, and they did not offer any kind of compensation for that either. I paid full price for a unit I could not access after hours like promised. Mind You my husband and I work 9-5 jobs and it was very difficult to access our unit before the store closes. I emptied my unit, went to the office to request my account to be closed, all three employees working at the time told me that they would be unable to close my account for me and claimed to have left a note on my account for it to be done the following day, and when I called to confirm that next day the man I spoke with said that there were no notes on my account. Everything I did with the associates took over a half hour to complete such as paying my bill or renting a truck, or switching units. Overall this experience a as quite painful and would not recommend this place or the uhaul company to anyone. My mind might change if I get some reimbursement.
They were very helpful and accommodating when I had to change my reservation for a truck a few times due to various circumstances. They were also very helpful when a charge needed to be taken off my bill and they had good customer service from both women who were working there.
My wife and I used the self storage and rented trucks for our move to Cumberland. The 2 ladies got to know us over our visits and were very nice and friendly. Reasonable rates and friendly staff. Thank you.
The Dodge Ram was very clean and comfortable, employees were nice and the store had a LARGE selection of moving supplies etc. but it was busy Friday (waited almost 20 mins) so if youre in a rush, I recommend checking in online. FYI checking out online for drop off is super easy too!
Recently I tried to make a reservation for multiple days. I was informed by the VERY rude woman I was not allowed to reserve a truck for multiple days without making a one-way reservation and a cost of an additional $100 dollars.I asked if I could make four separate reservations and keep the same truck. Again I was informed it was not an option. I wasnt allowed to do this. I asked where I would be picking up the truck. She said it depends where it lands. Not familiar with their lingo I asked what Where it lands means. She said wherever it lands is where you pick it up I said what do you mean. She said in a very rude tone the truck has to come from somewhere, so wherever it lands is where you get it from. So I guess wherever it lands means the drop off point to a one-way rental.I made my reservation, gave my credit card info and hung up, VERY ANGRY to say the least.I looked online and found another uHaul rental dealer nearby in Blackstone, MA with a FIVE Star rating. Gave them a call, She was very polite. I explained my situation and told her I needed to rent a truck for four days. She said no problem, we can do that She took my information, made the reservation for four days, gave me my confirmation number and it was done. I saved $100 dollars, and I hung up very satisfied and happy.I live near this Cumberland uHaul store on Mendon road, but I will never come here again. Ive rented trucks and trailers from here many times, but this time I was treated very rudely. I dont appreciate being treated the way I was treated. There are so many other uHaul dealers, I dont need to come here again.

DO NOT rent any moving trucks from here! U-Haul has changed their rental/damage waiver restrictions recently. You now have to pay an extra $10 for damage insurance. But, the trick is, they have become EXTREMELY restrictive/sensitive on the size of the scratches or dents you may occur when using their trucks and vans. If you get even so much as a TINY, smudge, nick, scratch, or dent of 1/4 inch or more on their vehicles, you WILL be charged $150 for it. That is IF you paid the extra $10 for the insurance.God help you if you didnt pay the insurance. They will show you the card with charges of upwards of $1,200 that you may be responsible for if you even look sideways at their vehicles. They have these tiny little stickers that they stick on each and every of the Tiniest marks on the van. Each of these stickers apparently represents $150 or more that they have collected from their unsuspecting customers. Yet some how... they havent bothered to have their precious vans fixed. I counted at least 40 stickers on the van I was about to rent. That totals $6,000!!!!My final comments/reviews? Hey U-Haul, if you are SOOOO concerned about a 1/4 smudge on your vehicles, then why dont you get out of the rental business and just start a museum of U-Haul rental trucks?
Look over your paper work, I was charged extra day saying I was late. This after calling to change the time on my order and being told that it was all set.The staff was very rude and didnt want to hear anything just saying to call the 1800#. Take your business some were else if you want to be treated like a valued customer
Went to buy a trailer harness, one employee working, 3 customers in front of me, took 20min for the person to rent a moving truck. Dont have 40mins to wait for check out.?! Money lost.

Was here today the woman behind the counter was so rude was waiting another worker came and I just said I only have a question to ask she said he cant help you ..he asked what is your question I ask what do I need on my truck outside to haul another vehicle he said I can help you lets take a look at your vehicle so we go out to look he said you have just about everything to do do it lets take a look at a setup I have outside we walk over to look she comes over you cant help him you have to do something else I said he was just showing me something lets go in I said no thank you the woman has no skills on treating customers very rude..
The guys there were rude and bragging about racing their cars on Mendon Road. Not good for business.The lady ripped the propane tank out of my hand and marked it.You dont take things out of peoples hands.
