Candy store with tourist prices. 1/2 a pound of candy is $7 and the truffles were just as much. A pound of fudge was $16. Customer service was also just meh. The store is nice and probably a dream land for a child as they also have toys and trinkets. They also have an assortment of beverages available as well. If the prices were more reasonable and the service was better I would give it those other 2 stars. I understand its a tourist spot and I expect inflated prices but not that inflated.

We were very much looking forward to some good fudge as getting fudge is a vacation tradition for us. Sugar Kingdom advertises Fresh Fudge. We bought some fudge, but it was no where close to being fresh. It had to be several weeks old. It was literally as hard as a brick. It was shameful that they would even sell this to customers.

This candy store is better than the big one in Gatlinburg and as good as (or better than) Dylans Candy Store in Chicago!First thing to do is check out the floor. Not only is it clean, but it looks like poured hard candy.Lots of candy and toys. Price is reasonable and sometimes low. I will return.

I stopped my there on my way out of town and got chocolates and I also asked for fudge. Well upon my arrival to my home in Houston, I was going to eat my fudge and realized it IS NOT in my bag. The young lady only packed my candy which are for a gift and didnt pack my fudge. It truly annoys me because I cant even go back to get the fudge I paid for. I give it a two star because I cant comment on flavor since the only thing I have is for a gift. Its so disappointing because it also wasnt very cheap.

Great stop, name fits it perfectly. Most candy sold by the pound. Kids tried to bankrupt me! I was looking for the produce scale after every addition but I think it’s hidden behind the counter for Scrooge’s like me! Great place to hype the kids up while in between beach sessions!

Been to Sugar Kingdom only a few times but they are always nice. The store is very clean and they have a great selection of items.

Really good place to find all sorts of candy. They have a good variety or fudge also. It is a bit pricey considering it is candy but it’s the beach, everything is more expensive. Very nice selection of saltwater taffy also.

Awesome display of candy but don’t let it fool you! $6 per 1/2 a lb of candy . We filled our bag way less than half of the bag and our total was $22.98! No way we were paying that . We turned around and walked out and went to the dollar tree where we found the exact same candy for $1 instead of 3.49 a pack. The women at sugar kingdom also threatened to call management on us .

Wife and kid kinda liked it. Not enough variety and over priced (but to be expected for its location). I waited in the car just because...

Cute store! The people we interacted with seemed to be nice but the PRICES!!! Didn’t even buy anything because it was STUPID expensive! 2/5 stars for the prices alone! I get you’re a tourist stop but seriously? $7 for a single truffle the size of a golf ball?!? Can’t recommend.

My rating is based on my visit yesterday with my daughters and grandsons who were visiting; an elderly woman employee followed closely behind us throughout the store wiping down the bins we had touched. She had a scowl on her face the entire time with body language that seemed very negative. My 21-month old grandson sneezed and her scowl became even worse as she promptly shook her head in disgust while staring us down; took the joy out of our visit. We have been there several times in recent years and always enjoyed filling our bags with sweets, but yesterdays shopping was unbelievably sour. Very bad for business!!!

Absolutely poor customer service. Our child lost an item in the store and we called back the next morning to see if we had left it there. She told us to call back later on because she didn’t work the night before. We went to the store to check for ourselves and the same employee that had worked the night before was currently working and said she hadn’t seen anything when we noticed the item was literally sitting right there in a cart right next to her. She was extremely rude.

If you have a sweet tooth, they have the goods! REALLY expensive, but yum!

This was our first time to Destin Florida decided to stop by sugar kingdom 960. we Spent $75.on candy and souvenirs. I bought to anklets and they were too small when I tried to put them on once I got in my vehicle. I went back and asked for a refund with receipt in hand. I was told by the sales associate per her ca to her manager no refunds. No where on the receipt does it say no refund. I will never shop at this location again. Worst service ever. my refund would have been less than $16.00 .

Expensive, which is to be expected in destin. We bought two pieces of fudge. Both had a funky taste, absolutely inedible. Waste of $10, we seriously just threw it away.

We called for their hours. They told us they closed at 11pm. Online it says they close at 10pm. We showed up at 9pm and they were locking the doors. This is the second store we’ve been too (not same kind) where they have closed early.
