Bake My Day made the cake for our June Wedding at the Watercolor Lakehouse and we could not have been happier with how it turned out. At our first meeting Heidi showed us a selection of beautiful designs to choose from while also taking our suggestions into account and the finished product was a dream! Not only was the cake beautiful but it tasted amazing and all of our guests loved it. I cannot recommend Heidi and her team enough!

We purchased a 3 tier wedding cake from Chef Heidi. We met with her in 2020 for a cake tasting and design. The meeting was professional and we were confident we would have a great cake. Leading up to the wedding the communication was insufficient. It took 3 calls and an email to pay the remaining amount due. The cake was delivered timely. However, the cake lacked a professional appearance that I expected based on promises and price. The lettering was also not in the correct order and color. When my partner addressed the matter he was told the cake met the invoice description. However, we specifically discussed the matter at the initial appointment. The invoice was incorrect. The cake did taste good. Overall, it did not meet expectations.

Stopped by during the posted hours of business to place an order for a cake. Closed no sign or note as to why. Looks like communication and running the business is back burner. Looks like a quality product. I will never know that is disappointing.

I reached out to this bakery via the “Contact Us” link on their website. I provided my contact information and cake request. I noted that I would be in town for a small family getaway. After a week with no response, I called and spoke with an employee who assured me that someone would be reaching back out. I provided the cake request again (simple sheet cake to feed about 8 ppl) I was contacted 2 weeks later at 7:30pm “due to events already on the books, we are unable to accommodate your order.” Of all the bakeries in Destin, I was attempting to patronize this one. I’m thankful things didn’t work out. I’m a stickler for relationship building and customer service. However, they don’t serve it.

Not only was the cake delicious for our wedding but Chef Heidi was so nice when we picked up our cake. I was having a stressful moment and she just calmed me down. We did a destination wedding so we did not sample before the big day. We got so many complements on our cake! Chef Heidi made the process so easy contacting by email. I would recommend her and the place to anyone! Thank again for making our day special!

Would not recommend services. Heidi completely abandoned all emails inquiring her services. No follow up email or explanation. Poor customer service & communication.I find it puzzling that it has to go to the extent of a review to get a response. All emails are dated prior to the storm, as well as Bake My Day agreeing to leave a tasting box for us to try AFTER the storm. To this day- no response, no follow-up email. Take full responsibility for your actions and leave it at that. Do not blame a consumer for your poor customer services skills. As a business owner, multi-tasking professional, it is your duty to follow up with ALL potential clients interested in your services - your business needs them. Your loss. God Bless.

There are no words to describe how amazing Heidi and her staff are. Five years ago, our daughter was married and Bake My Day did the most amazing, elegant and fabulous cake we had ever seen and yes tasted. In a world where wedding cakes are usually make from mixes, Heidi is a true pastry chef using only the finest ingredients and techniques available. So when our daughter announced she was pregnant with our first grandchild, we knew who we wanted to make the cake for the shower. Once again, what can I say, a picture perfect, beautiful and amazing cake! If you want the perfect end to your special event, call Heidi. Shes amazing.

I had a small wedding event on the beach. The weather didnt cooperate but the cake was perfect. A beautiful cake with starfish. Delectable icing and creamy moist cake. Heidi was professional, and very engaging helping to make my wedding memorable. I would refer her for a small wedding ( Mine was 24 people) or any sized wedding. Thank you Heidi!

Positive first .scones are the best tasting i have ever had negative this place is never open on time or when they say. I was waiting outside with another paying customer at almost 8 am (they open at 7:30 am) there was someone in there lights on etc she saw us but she went on doing for about 3mins then came to door and said she was too busy to talk to the first lady and told me scones would not be even partly ready for 30more minutes this is not the first or second or third time in went by in the morning and they were not open if she is too busy for a store front she should not have one just be a catering ordering place and place to bake. It as the owner i believe that came to us at the door she did not Bake our day at all.

They gave me free coffee one time it was good

Absolutely delightful!!! Try the chocolate syrup and caramel in your coffee, they are both homemade (as is most of everything there, of course) which I love. So much better than Dunkin donuts or Starbucks which just tastes artificial. If you want your coffee and breakfast goods made with love and care go here! The prices are amazing too for how much love they put into each item. Will be going here every time I am in Destin! Eat and drink local!!!

I used Baked My Day for my destination wedding cake, and the cake was absolutely gorgeous from every aspect, along with with quality. Heidi made my dream cake into reality! I would highly recommend for any event!

The cake is awesome and unique. Nothing youll get from the Publix bakery. The icing is all butter cream, not fondant, so the whole things edible except for any highly designed parts like pictures.

The cake was just ok and the communication on getting my wedding cake was so bad I just went to Publix, yes lady Publix I never imagined getting my cake there but it was beautiful and tasted better than all the other shops I tried!

My son and I stopped in this morning for a coffee (Jazz Blend...my favorite), an espresso (for my son), and a slice of the best soufflé (w/caramelized bacon) that we shared. Yum yum yum!!! So delicious!!! Go see Heidi at Bake My Day near Target in Destin open 7:30-5.

I needed some birthday cakes and some pies for a family birthday party while in Destin...Heidi delivered!! She made a double layer cake that was great, pecan pies (best I ever had) and a Banana Foster pie (I let no one touch)!Bake My Day --- Made My Day and More...Many thanks to you Heidi and to your great associate! I dont want you to take this the wrong way Heidi, but your customer service is not the greatest. I am a bride to be from out of town and I called to inquire about a cake tasting while I was in town for the week. I was told that if I have 50-75 guests I would need a 3 tier cake. I was never asked if I wanted that big of a cake or if I would be serving cupcakes to guests and having a small cake for myself. I was then told that since my wedding is on the weekend, Im not able to pick up my cake prior to the date since it had to be delivered if it was 3tiers. I was quickly rushed off the phone and couldnt get a word in as to any details of my big day. I hope others have better luck but Im glad I dodged this bullet.

They made an amazing cake for our family new years get-together. Good price and delivered on time.

My friend and I stopped in for quick breakfast and coffee on our way to take the kids hiking. I ordered one of every kind of muffin and had quiche. Everything was amazing. The kids favorites where the poppyseed muffin and the banana nut muffin. We reveled in savory flavors of the bacon quiche and the serrano pepper cornbread muffin. The kids had chocolate milk which was out of this world. They make thier own choclate syrup and it shows. The coffee is stellar. No more coffee runs in Target. I will always opt for Bake My Day during my shopping trips and for bringing home baked goodies when I have guests.
