I always shop local when vacationing so I wanted to visit Footprints. I fell in love with a large metal starfish wall hanging. It wouldn’t fit in suitcase so I carried it on the plane home! My daughter and I enjoyed speaking with the lady there. She told us a lot about the 30A area but we didn’t make it. I sincerely hope the the lady who also wanted it but left the store wasn’t too heartbroken if there wasn’t another in the back or there was another starfish, same size but in green w yellow that she could buy! Lots of nice things in Footprints, love the colorful bird statues out front!

This was our favorite gift shop experience at Miramar beach. I wish there had been fewer signs/decorations for sale and a better selection for boys but it was still a very cool shop.

I love Footprints!! Everything nautical, about the beach like signs, rugs, shells, pictures inside and outside for your home is there. So much to see and at a good price. Decorations galore which will take a lot of time to see it all. Beautiful fish and turtles along with all kinds of bird statues also hanging windchimes of all kinds. Dont forget birthday cards that are great. Please come visit this unique store. I wanted to buy everything. Plenty of parking its on Hwy 98.

This is a cute shop with eclectic finds. In all the years I have vacationed in the area, I have always wanted to check out this shop. Plan to spend a few minutes as there is so much to look at.

Weve visited several times while vacationing in the area, and found it always to be worth a stop. The exterior may give the impression that its one of those hippie-dippy stoner shops often found in the Florida panhandle, but it really has a nice, eclectic mix of gifts from cute cocktails lights to pink flamingos (and about six other colors, too). Quite a lot of handmade items and overall quite a bit more upscale than the pervasive big-box schlock sellers.

Cheryl at Footprints Gift Shop in Destin has fantastic customer service skills and is to be celebrated.Long story short, my daughter was given a mermaid statue as a gift that was purchased from this store less than a month ago while our family was in the Destin area on vacation. While cleaning her room I managed to destroy the mermaid statue and was lost as to finding a suitable replacement.My son gave me the details to the store where he made the purchase and I contacted “Cheryl” who answered the phone and set about to help me. She asked me to text her a picture of the statuette and thereafter quoted me a price and took the necessary info to get the replacement shipped. Janet Reeves the store owner even paid to wrap and ship the gift to our home In south Florida .There’s nothing that impressed me more than the genuine and kind manner in which Cheryl moved heaven and earth to replace the statue for my daughter.We are truly grateful for her efforts and if we ever visit Destin I plan on visiting the shop so I can thank her in person . Well done Cheryl and Janet ! We appreciate both very much !
