We stop by antique shops in all the cities we visit and this is a great one! Great finds, service, and reasonable prices.

Ive perused this established gem on multiple occasions in recent months, and if you are looking for authentic Detroit-area industrial, vintage, and antique curiosities, you absolutely MUST make time for an extended visit to wander the labyrinthine two-floor warehouse. To be sure, the owners know the provenance and rarity of their inventory, thus the prices are not exactly a bargain, but if you are interested in purchasing enough, they may be willing to offer a nominal bundle discount.Be prepared to be overwhelmed by the inadequacy of both your budget and vehicular cargo capacity to accommodate the wealth of items you would wish to leave with. The mall is open only on Saturdays from noon until 5 PM, so it is a perfect addition to a trip to Eastern Market after the vendors there have wrapped up shop. When entering the buildings main entrance fronting the Fischer Freeway service drive, remember to push the inner door open after being buzzed in, despite the knob suggesting a pull being required.Ive included a picture of a spectacular teal enameled metal shelving unit I pined for during my last visit. If someone grabs it before I do, kudos to you, and I suggest you post your own review with a photo of its new disposition, should you happen by chance to be inspired to buy it due to this posts excessive verbosity!

This place is the best antique shop I have ever been to. Incredibly knowledgeable staff, enormous selection, reasonable prices. Items on sale strike a good balance between architectural elements and interior decor. You can literally choose from hundreds of door knobs or hinges at every price point or pick up a cool lighter or ring.If you go, plan to stay for at least an hour because theres just so much to see on the two floors.

What a cool place in Downtown Detroit. My wife and I had the opportunity to visit a few weekends ago and it was great. The space is jam packed with a lot of really great finds and the staff was pretty flexible and nice. Parking seemed a little sketchy on the side of the building, but all-in-all, it was a great experience.

Tons to look at! Way, way over priced! I was stunned how much their prices went up in the last few years. Too trendy now and they know it! Try Motor City Antiques in Flat Rock.
