Nice and clean, far as i can see. I walked up to their window to order. Staff is real friendly and helpful in helping you decide which flavor to try. I like that they change flavors frequently, the only reason i didnt give it a 5 star rating, is because some flavors you cant taste that well. Like i had the Lime and it didnt taste like it was Lime, it tasted more like vanilla, i also tried the Salted Caramel, same thing they should put more flavoring in it. So i was disappointed. However, the ice cream per se is very good!

Was in town from Ohio yesterday and wanted ice cream. Based on reviews and their Instagram page they seemed legit. Well, they didnt have the flavor I wanted and a half an hour into their day, they didnt have any sugar cones or waffle flakes ready. I reluctantly chose vanilla bean and it was flavorless. Very disappointing.

My second time here with my friend and we loved their red velvet chocolate smooth and creamy icecream. We also loved the double chocolate ice cream even more. Def worth it!

I used to love this place, not sure what happened…. We got the kooky monster which barely had any cookie dough or Oreos in it… and the salted caramel which was freezer burnt 😢 Maybe they were just having a bad day?

Nice little ice cream place right by Wayne State Universitys campus. They had some really unique flavors I would never have thought of, even a Lobster Bisque! Had the ice cream taco, which had 3 different scoops, so I got to try a bit of everything. Lots of fun and friendly options. They also had good knowledge on which products were gluten free for my fiancee.

This shop is nicely located and very well run. There were two younger ladies running the store and were very hard workers. They were very polite and nice. The place was tidy and well cleaned and the ice cream was very good. Overall I would recommend to anyone in the area looking for a quick ice cream.

I got a scoop of Kooky Monster, which was supposed to have Oreos and cookie dough. My entire scoop had literally one single piece of cookie dough and two small shards of an Oreo. So I basically got a scoop of blue vanilla ice cream, which was disappointing and very boring. The ice cream itself had a really good, creamy texture, though the flavor seemed to be lacking something, perhaps a little more sugar and a bit of salt in the recipe would’ve made it more enjoyable.

Delicious ice cream with a thick creamy texture and full of flavor. Loads of creative flavor combinations, including some that are liquor infused. Some vegan choices. Flavors change weekly or monthly and are made in small batches. The midtown location has paid street or neighborhood parking. Five and change for two yummy scoops.

Out of curiosity we stopped by. It looks like a chain/franchise however it’s very much a local ice creamery. Personally I was reluctant to go in because it looked chain.Their ice creams are all made in-house and are therefore all weirdly creative. The service was nice and they were generous to give us several samplings. We each made a purchase. I opted for a cup and it’s curious that a non colorful decorated cup takes away from the eating experience. Not from the taste.I recommend you check them out

Some of the best desserts in Detroit and the Downtown Detroit area. I suggest that everyone visit Asap and park for free.

Extremely disappointed. I was served mediocre Sorbet that was frost bitten and chunky. Was even told out loud that it hadnt been stirred in a really long time after taking my money. I asked for a refund and was told they dont give them. Definitely never recommending them to anyone.

They serve local pops like Faygo in glass bottles and have a great spread of ice cream options that taste very delicious. They change the menu often too, so theres always a reason to return.

This place has an amazing, rotating selection of ice cream, sherbets, and vegan ice creams. Their homemade waffle cones are good. The atmosphere is casual. It is quite small inside but their outside patio is really nice. I especially like their chocolate ice cream. They try a lot of unique flavors, too (mint caramel, cannoli, etc).

Just went here to grab some ice cream. Had a craving suddenly 30 minutes before closing, found parking right up front and were served swiftly. The staff were nice and helped decide what to choose, my friend and I had the Cookie Monster flavor- single scoop is fairly large so unless you are really hungry I would recommend just a single scoop. The Cookie Monster already has Oreos in it and I do not think it really needs additional toppings since it’s full of flavor already. I like that there is chilled water available for all patrons aside plastic cups (it is free.) I’m part of the population that gets really thirsty when eating cold or sweet flavored treats.

I didnt get the ice cream here, which is what this place is supposed to be known for. However the brownies are really really good. Personally I would say that a little too sweet buy hey if youre here for something sweet then its totally fine! Would want to try the ice cream some time.

Treat Dreams is the best spot in Detroit, despite barely having an ice cream shops. The workers are always super friendly when I go in. Their selection is amazing. They change flavors every week, so every time I go in, Im able to get something new. Never have had a bad experience!

Although I prefer their Ferndale location because it is quite a bit larger, they offer unique flavors of ice cream, and it’s a must try if you want some cool flavors of ice cream!

All started with the easy parking. Then led to great customer service followed by exceptional dessert. Clean restroom. Affordable pricing. Rotating treats. Which is nice when you frequent an establishment. Bottom line is, give it a try. You won’t be disappointed.

Unbelievably Bad. I had a chocolate shake. What could possibly go wrong. First the person at the counter asks me how I would like my chocolate shake. She gave me 3 different options. I may be old but its my understanding that it should just be chocolate ice cream and milk, that was not one of the options. I said I just want a chocolate shake, someone made a decision and made me what appeared to be a chocolate shake. After paying $6.75 (no seriously) for a 16 ounce shake I wound up with what tastes like chocolate fudge with chocolate chips in it that I have to chew. I threw it in the garbage. I love chocolate shakes, have gotten them everywhere Ive ever been and although some are better than others you never really expect to get an absolutely horrible chocolate shake. What on earth could you have done to it. As with the 3 options, this is simply a small shop trying to get cute with a very simple item. If you want to add options thats fine, but to not be able to create a basic chocolate shake is unbelievable. And to charge $6.75 for it is criminal. Yes I should have turned around and walked out when I saw the price, it is posted clearly, should have walked out when I couldnt just order a basic chocolate shake, but you never know, you may find a real gem and I have no problem paying for excellence. But in this case I feel the need to warn my fellow chocolate shake lovers. Dont even think about it.

First visit for daughters 13th birthday. Two of us cant have lactose so heard their vegan options are tasty. However my fiance is allergic to coconut so he had vegan brownie. I had vegan chocolate ice cream. Yum! Daughter had Cookie Monster ice cream. Good friendly service! Will be back soon.

Offers really interesting experimental flavors alongside traditional favorites. My daughter enjoyed the Cotton Candy, which had marshmallows in it. I very much liked the Strawberry Jalapeno i sampled, as well as Bourbon Bacon. I eyed the Michigan Salad (blue cheese with walnuts and dried fruit) with interest, but had my heart set on Salted Butterscotch, which did not disappoint in the least.

The customer service is terrible and the ice cream is tasteless! They made my order without telling that they werent accepting cash. One lady has a terrible attitude. I definitely will not be returning!

The staff was helpful and polite. The core cram flavors were unique and awesome! I had dirty martini and coffee w donuts. The rates just like their names. The place was pretty busy and if you want more then a cone I suggest you come early :)

I love the sorbet. I recently learned that I can buy pints and Buckets of ice cream! The value is way better than any grocery store. Plus, if you have a dog with you they always indulge them as well! The Midtown location is the best!

My wife finally mentioned the place and it was great polish food and service. I didnt know about it... same as Moros Italian Allen Park downtown... been there for years with a big reputation. Keeping me from knowing these restaurants is spouse abuse.

For the most part I always have a pleasant experience when I go here. I enjoy trying the different and unique flavors. The dark chocolate chip is a must if your a chocolate lover. The Ferndale location is also nice and the staff at both locations are cool.

I am sure the ice cream is great but the vegan ice cream options at this location always suck. It used to be a coffee shop called Melt and the owner lived in the breakroom. Oh how the times have changed.

Great range of creative ice cream flavors! I had the Vanilla Malt and Peaches and Cream, my dining companion had the Salted Caramel and the plain Vanilla. I REALLY liked the Vanilla Malt, and my friend REALLY liked the Salted Caramel. While the Peaches and Cream was also quite good, the fruit flavor was a bit more muted.Based on what other patrons were getting, the Cookie Monster seemed popular--oreo chunks + cookie dough in a blue-dyed vanilla base.

Starting with a positive, their vegan ice cream was delicious. The rest of the experience wasnt great.Prices were pretty steep. $12 for 2 people to get ice cream was a little expensive.Customer service wasnt great either. The staff was nice and super friendly but when my 70 year old father went back to the counter to tell them he really didnt like his salted caramel ice cream (which is usually one of his favorites), he wasnt offered anything except confirmation that theyve heard that before. He was told they were aware it was an unusual flavor but there was nothing wrong with the ice cream itself. I was sad they didnt offer to make it right for him especially since they were already aware of it.

They usually have a vegan choice on the menu and its always good. I am glad I dont work there...I have very little self control when it comes to ice cream.

Much smaller than the Ferndale parent store. This midtown location offers excellent ice cream and wonderful tastes. Open late in the summer you can stop by almost anytime for a scoop of just about any flavor that you want. They stock a rotating assortment and always have something interesting or unique to try.Do not go for traditional flavors, while they do have them, they have much more to offer if you have an open mind.Their vegan and non-dairy options are lacking, and while I’m tempted to knock a star there, their location is so small that you have to forgive it.If you’re in a rush or want to share with friend their to-go freezer is a great alternative.
