Went in with a Galaxy Note 10 after my screen cracked. They were very quick and the staff was friendly, no issues there. But after the screen was replaced, the fingerprint reader doesnt seem to work much anymore. There seems to be a bit too much space between the screen and the sensor which leads the sensor to not be able to read the prints. I was able to re-scan one finger but it doesnt read very often and the phone wont allow more to be added, saying the sensor is covered, or dirty (which is isnt). Cant say I am too surprised since the fingerprint reader is pretty finicky with this phone already but after the replacement it is almost unusable.Update: I brought my phone back and they found that the screen they installed was faulty. They replaced the screen and any parts that were damaged due to the faulty screen. The phone now works perfectly. Service was fast and friendly the entire time.

About 3 weeks ago I dropped and cracked my iPhone which led me to get my phone repaired at Odyssey Phone Repair, as they offered quick service and cheaper prices than going straight through Apple. 3 weeks after getting my phone repaired for $110, I dropped it from a height of about 3 feet on asphalt with a case and a screen protector. The phone did not crack, but now there is a massive green line across the right side of my screen and it is always at max brightness, which kills my eyes. I called Odyssey Phone repair to see if they could reimburse me for the screen as it clearly had to do with the LCD panel and I had dropped my phone while it had its original Apple screen on multiple times from similar heights on pavement without anything like this happening. After explaining what happened, they promptly told me that it was my fault for dropping it and they could give me a replacement screen for $110 instead of $150 since I recently had it repaired by them, which was the price I paid in the first place. I like supporting local businesses but if youre looking for a high quality screen and a phone repair, I would recommend taking it somewhere else. By the way I have the original iPhone X.

They had my phone for over a week and didnt do anything when i dropped the phone they told me i will need a new battery and everything will be fix in 24 hrs and yet every time i stopped there they told me i will get the phone the next day they never bothered to call and let me know whats going on they finally gave me the phone back after a week without doing any repair ....i wish i could give them zero star but i dont have the option

Scammers! I paid $100 for a pair of what I was told were refurbished Generation 2 Apple AirPods. They came in a sealed Apple box. My cousin bought a pair as well. We thought they were the real thing because this company actually has a Kiosk in Penn Station by NJ Transit but when i got home and opened them, I realized they were actually fake and not an actual Apple product. Not only did both of our boxes have the same serial number (which were for AirPods that were first gen. - apple support told me this when I called to troubleshoot, but on top of that, none of the bluetooth settings worked as they should have . In addition, it read Airpods in my bluetooth menu. Actual Apple product appears as AirPods with a capital P. So basically, this store sold my cousin and I a fraudulent product. It amazes me that a place like this can do business in a place like Penn Station. I hope this company gets into serious trouble for fraud and Id advise anyone thinking about buying or using them for anything not do so. Who knows what other sketchy things they are involved in when it comes to ripping people off!

I needed my cell phone screen fixed, after I dropped it on the tile floor, and with everyone in quarantine and businesses closed, I thought that I wouldn’t be able to find anyone open and qualified to do it.Fortunately, I saw that Odyssey Phone Repair in East Northport was open. I called and they were able to fix my phone. They said that if I was unable to drop off the phone, they would pick it up and drop it off to me at home. That wasn’t necessary for me, but it was good to know the option was available.I also asked if they did work on computers, which they do. And I was able to also drop that off. It turns out the problem wasn’t as bad as I thought (thank goodness!) and the tech was able to fix it fairly quickly!Both my cell and my computer are now working fine. I would recommend this shop to anyone with a phone or computer issue.

Several people came in after next and the guy working there did their phones first because theyre easier.When he eventually fixed my screen, there were leftover parts. When I asked about it, the kid said you dont need those.Thennnn they charged me more than the advertised Price on the screen.Absolutely never go here.

SHAMEFUL - Odyssey Phone Repair - Eric and his sales staff should be ashamed of themselves for the shady sales techniques they are using to bring in revenue. After repairing my sons cell phone they UPSOLD him on a liquid technology screen protector called cell-helmet that was featured on Shark Tank. According to the sales representative at Odyssey, you could hit it with a hammer and drop it from over 9 feet, etc. They then applied the screen protector (supposed to be 2x better than tempered glass) and provided my wife with a digital receipt, but did not give my wife or my son the warranty registration card or any of the original packaging from the screen protector, which other phone repair stores Ive visited in the past always have. Two days later, my son has a cracked phone and it turns out Eric and his associates sold him the most basic screen protector, which includes no warranty and want another 200+ dollars to repair it again. Wow! Way to deceive a 12 year old with a classic BAIT and SWITCH. I insisted my son pay for this with his own money that he saved up from mowing lawns, to teach him a lesson about value and responsibility. Unfortunately, he was the recipient of other unintended lessons as well, including the age old adage LET the BUYER BEWARE. Im completely disgusted with this place and upset with myself for supporting a local business instead of going with a more reputable company. I discovered this place after my wife dropped her phone and shattered the screen. Apple wanted nearly twice as much for the fix and I would have needed an appointment. I just walked in to Odyssey, and Mickey fixed the phone in 15 minutes. I was so impressed that I started asking questions about other phone problems: I had another phone that would heat up and the battery would drain very quickly. I replaced the battery at Staples, and the problem continued. Mickey told me it was the battery; but I insisted that I had just replaced it. He assured me that the replacement battery was the culprit and likely also defective. I was so impressed with his screen replacement work that I took a chance, and he was right. Staples sold me a defective replacement battery. AND Odyssey stands behind their work with a guarantee. This experience just reminds me to always support a local small business instead of chains. These guys are great and their work is vastly superior and less expensive than the big chains.

I’ve never paid anyone to steal from me before UNTIL I went to odyssey phone repair. Charged me 100$ to fix one issue then gave me someone else’s rusted, water damaged phone screen. So in total they stole an original iPhone home button, original iPhone earpiece speaker set with screws and plate, an entire iPhone screen, the entire backplate along with original screws and had the audacity to open it in front of me and tell them I gave this phone water damage. Water damaged s all parts of the phone, not just the ones you stole. He proceeded to tell me my motherboard was damaged and then pointed to the earpiece. Wanna give this man a phone when he doesn’t even know where the mother board is????

Was told the part would need to be ordered, they charged my credit card $20 and told me they would call in 2 or 3 days when the part arrived. No call.Late Oct: Called to check on the status of the part order. Told me they would check and call me back. No call.Mid Nov: Called to ask whether the part arrived and if I could bring in my phone. Couldnt find my order and said they would need to call me back. No call.Dec 20: Called and asked why the part was taking so long and said they couldnt find my order. Said the owner would call me back. No call.Dec 24: Called to ask for a refund of my $20 deposit. Couldnt find the order, so they asked for the last 4 digits of my credit card. Still couldnt find the order. Needed to give them all the digits on my credit card to process the refund. I will be monitoring my credit card charges very closely...No apology for the delay or the failure to return my call 4 times!!!! Complete waste of my time.

They did a great job fixing my iPhone6. Went in with the LCDs broken and with the screen completely cracked. Tape was keeping the phone together. Only took them 15 minutes to fix it and my phone is working like brand new! Would definitely come back again!

I had my Note 8 screen replaced as an insurance claim from square trade from Odyssey March 1st at 7:00 pm to be exact. The screen was replaced and accept for some minor chips on the back from prying it open, the screen replacement was perfect. However, when I picked up the phone, the pen for my note 8 fell out and would not stay engaged. I was told from the tech that the screen needed to be replaced again but they didnt have another. Well to make a long story short they have been making excuses since then and the worse of it is Eric.is unresponsive and will only text so there is no confrontation. He made up excuses that the parts from samsung are hard to get and that he is sorry he didnt get back to me because he had food poisoning. I guess Eric and Odyssey Phone does not stand behind their work and is not trust worthy. I feel I gave them over a month to resolve this issue and with only excuses I am left with needing to resolve this with square trade. I only wish square trade withheld paying Odyssey. Any way I see they get great reviews and stuff does happen but not responding or helping is horrible. if you can avoid using Odyssey phone repair Northport or Penn station I would.

Dropped off my phone on Saturday for a cracked screen and a defective battery. Was told they didnt have the glass in, after he looked in the back and told me he would have to order it and I need to leave it there. Well 3 days later I get the call to come get my phone. I walk in and a different guy hands me my phone. WITH THE SAME CRACKED SCREEN!! He asks, did you want it fixed??? I said uhhh its right on the paperwork, cracked screen and defective battery. Considering its covered by my warranty, it should be repaired. He then goes into the back, grabs a glass for my phone and proceeds to tell me, they have tons of them in the back. WTF?????? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? doesnt apologize. Doesnt offer to make any kind of amends for their screw up. Just tells me, oh well, that guy was new. And??? Your point??? Perhaps you shouldnt have left a newbie alone??? Or checked the order to see why its still there??? Ugh! Very disappointed!!!

I had to revise my review! First, most of the 5 star reviews are from customers who wanted the $10.00 off. Second, I brought my S8 in for screen repair and received my phone back with audio issues. Everytime I talk on my phone it sounds like a robot.The customer service was great at first but they are very unorganized. I learned about them through my insurance and it was a mistake. The customer follow up is the worst. Ive been given the run around in regards to my phone being damaged through the repair. I wasnt upset that the phone got damaged because things happen, Im upset that it has not been corrected. Now I can only conduct calls over the speaker phone.The price is cheap but do yourself a favor and pay the extra money for quality repair service. They are great just as long as they dont mess up your phone during the process, then youre on your own.

Poorly run business. Very unprofessional.I got my iPhone X repaired here less then a month ago for $180 and the replacement parts were faulty. My screen went black and stopped working. I brought my phone in and explained my situation and they offered to give a $20 discount on the $180 part that i would have to re-purchase with no warranty this wouldnt happen again. So i left my phone with them again, only to come back to no work done because they didnt have the parts in, and wouldnt for another day or two. I walked out with my phone still broken and would highly recommend anyone NOT to ever go there.

I had a bad experience before at some random Kiosks in the Whitman Mall, the replaced screen acts weird and is difficult to use. This place uses real OEM screen and you can tell the difference right away. In 10 minutes, my phone is better than it was before the screen being cracked. Highly recommended to everyone who needs their screen replaced.

I went to Batteries Plus first and the people there were nice but not very bright! They told me it would be $129.00 and an hour and a half. I told them that I had an iPhone 6s but they thought I said an iPhone 6. So I come back after an hour and a half and they tell me that it was actually $230.00 so they didnt repair the phone. Im glad they didnt! They told me that they tried to call me back on the number I have them but it kept going to voicemail. I said, Of course it did!! That was my cell phone number! Anyway I went to Oddessey Phone Repair after and it cost me half that price and I was done in 15 minutes! They repair technician was very professional and I would gladly recommend them to others with cracked iPhone screens.

I REGRET COMING HERE. I normally dont write reviews but with this client, I had to. Dropped off my iPhone 8+ to be fixed 2 days ago. I was told it will be ready in 2 days...called 15 minutes ago to check up on the status of the repair, the white dude with a blonde hair there said you can come pick it up, Its not done and that l i will have to wait till Saturday if I want it done. Upon dropping the phone off, I told him I dont reside in New York and I have to leave back to my state during the weekend. Nothing was done to the phone, it was left in their in store untouched. They lack customer service, no apology for my time waisted and all that. I will never recommend them for no one. If there was a -0 star, Ill click that.

I compared priced to a few other places. This was by far the best price. My iphone6 screen was smashed to pieces. I came in at 10:15 and was out by 10:25am and on my way to work. It cost me almost $100 less than what it would have cost going through insurance. Thank you so much Eric! Will recommend you to all my fellow phone droppers!

Had the glass on my S7 replaced. My phone immediately started to act up and got worse as time passed. Home button stopped working, phone calls had echo problems, and then back glass cracked. Left three messages with assistance. Boss never returned calls. When I confronted him in person he said it was coincidental issues and not his responsibility. I own a third generation business and know what customer service is all about. This isnt it. He wont last a year and I will not use him again. Waste of $170.00, which I will dispute with my credit card company.

I had previously had an exceptional experience at Odyssey Phone Repair which led me to consistently recommend the business and brought me back for a repair last week. Unfortunately the customer service during this visit was pathetic as I was misled about the status of my repair multiple times. For example, on day 3 of the repair I was told my iPad would be ready by the time the store closed however when I returned to the store 40 minutes before closing I was told they didn’t even have the part needed for the repair. To make matters worse, when I took my iPad back in order to get it repaired elsewhere, the store did not return the screws to my iPad which prevents me from getting a complete repair. I asked multiple times for the manager to be honest with me about the timeline for the repair however I never received that courtesy. I would not recommend this business to anyone.

The customer service at Odyssey is wonderful. They have fixed several of my devices efficiently and within a quick turn around.
