There is an amazing little woman behind the registers, who is extremely fast, and efficient! Shes friendly, and is always moving and working! The store is very clean, and is wheelchair accessible as well!

Food was good chicken strips with toast and fries but we stopped to get oil change on semi and they did something wrong now truck wont crank ....the white truck they put oil filter on his truck it was too tight and it busted on him .Please dont come here u will not leave

Good place to stay, I like the breakfast there personally, before COVID-19. Most of the time if you arrive late you’ll find truck parking.

The night crew for the service department is great!! They took care of my Kenworth Cabover (known as The Emerald Queen). If highly recommend getting work done by them. I will be back for more service when I need it. If you need work done on your truck or trailer and youre in the area head to the guys here. Tell the guys that The Leprechaun sent you and they night shift guys will take good care of you!! Thank you all again!! I will see you again!!!

I am a TA patron. It seems as though the t age are getting worse. What start with the restaurant country pride this is the only reason Im giving this ta 1 star. I ordered the chicken fried chicken when it come to the table it was real small I told the waitress I was not paying $13 for that she took it back and took it to the manager and they tried to made it right. when my food come back to the table the second time the first small piece of chicken was still on the plate and they added another small piece, my mashed potatoes and gravy was cold,now on to the convenience store side of the TA it was dirty and nasty and the bathrooms were dirty as well.I grabbed a bottle of chocolate milk out of the cooler and it was sticky and slimy I put it back on even had to go wash my hands. I will not stop here again.

I Needed a radiator and thermostat put in, Carlos got it done quick, and even pointed out a few other issues i had that i didnt know about. Very professional, great service!

Thank God for this gasoline station. Its the furthest one you will fing to the north of the Rio Grande Valley and that is good becuase I almost stayed without gas coming down from San Antonio.

Very disappointed in the service we received at this service center. We arrived at 11:45 am and were told we were next in line, which we were however that wasn’t until 1pm. We only came in to get two new tires and we didn’t leave the location until 4:45. Ridiculous that it takes almost 5 hours for two tires, the attendant that was working on our truck look completely lost, he asked for help which he received from one technician but still couldn’t complete the job. There were 3 technicians standing inside the service center which none looked eager to help or wanted to help. It wasn’t til around 4 that we got impatient and asked for them to get the technician help because we wanted to leave and that’s when they decided to send someone else out. Why should we have to ask them to get the technician help when they clearly see he can’t perform the job. We paid and didn’t even get an apology for the bad service.If you are looking for quick service for your tractor trailer, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO GO!

They will not let you in the building without a mask on when I asked if they had one so I could buy something to eat Yes we do theyre $15.00 so I went across street to Loves and they gave me one for FREE..I know whos getting my business from now on.

This is a good location to relax when youre coming in from up north. Its mainly for truck drivers but regular motorists are always welcomed. Restrooms are exceptionally clean. I couldnt get a receipt from the gas pumps but it happens. No negative comments here.

Absolutely the most disgusting TA I’ve been at. The women’s restroom has a horrible order from not being cleaned properly and there is black mold on the ceilings coming from the air vents. The showers are even worse. I took the shortest shower of my life and tried to not touch anything. Save your money and go across the street to loves. This place should be ashamed

During this time (COVID19) many drastic changes are a new norm. However, I have been to half of the states in the nation recently and have NOT been to one truck stop that has no FOOD or COFFEE available. I was just informed by TA employee this location is not allowed to serve coffee. In addition the restaurant is closed until further notice. This is unacceptable yet surprisingly happening at this TA location. The very issue being discussed on national news about businesses not serving truckers and here it is at the TA of Edinburgh Texas. Thank you TA management, and Edinburg City Management for showing your appreciation to the 24hour trucker dedication of our very own American transportation industry.

This TA in Edinburgh TX is pretty decent for the food in the restaurant staff in restaurant area is pretty friendly, I have not tried the little spot that has the Mexican tacos and stuff maybe next time, also the convenient store staff is friendly also I will continue to keep coming as long they keep having good service.

This is an older truck stop but as its been said before, the employees are friendly and everything is kept clean. The showers are small but clean. The restaurant is a Country Pride with daily specials and a very friendly staff.The most important thing for a truck driver though, very rarely is there NOT available space to park. (Even if they do keep expanding their paid parking.)Im here most every week and have yet to see the lot completely full.

Lupes customer service skills are exceptional, he was a true professional. Which is a rare find in retail/truck stops. Got what I needed.

I rate high because Im a trucker and see many stops. For me its about helpful staff and good food. Parking lot for truckers could be redone, but then that means raising prices more.Simplicity is better. Old school.Love this truck stop. They were very polite the employees. They helped me save money buy telling me about their sale that was going on. They have plenty of parting space restrooms. They also have a section where you can buy shurts hats or little gifts. I would use them again.

Ordered the chopped steak and eggs, the eggs were good the chopped steak was so greasy your cant eat it. The server was slow at best and my wife and I are the only ones in here, not like its busy.

Ive been to TA all over the country. This is one of the worst. Oh its clean and fairly well kept. But the downside, staff is very Curt. Often outright rude. Terrible service. Today I waited five minutes at the taco counter then went across the street to Loves for food. I left my truck parked at TA and on my return I tried to use the CAT scale. I pressed the call button three times, waiited three and a half minutes (far too long for that kind of service. Didnt get so much as a Be with you in a moment. The diner is horrible. Food under or overcooked. Stale tasting. Dry chewy meats. Steaks that are clearly frozen too cold and too long.From now on Loves or Flying j will get most of my business in Edinburgh.

The food was good. It could have been a touch warmer when it reached the table, but over all very tasty, and a bit pricey. Plan on dropping a $20.00 per person for a sit down before the tip.

Definitely one of the cleanest TA in the Country! In and out and all around.Thanks to cleaning personal, management should definitely keep and cherish this person! Even Saturday and Sunday place is in perfect condition!

Review for truck drivers, plenty of parking, including bobtail, best showers in San Antonio, plenty and functional washer/dryers, big store. Cons: few fuel lines, repair shop works 7am to 7pm on. Restaurants are burger joint and Italian, if you want in out fast, a proper meal or late night repairs better go to Petro, for a reset this is the best one, comcheck limit Is $300.

This shop was awesome. They fixed a difficult ABS problem in 2 hours, but the line to get into the shop was very long (8 hrs). The technicians and everyone working in restaurant and store were very professional and friendly.

Was sitting at the drivers lounge. Nothing is on T.V. so i ask if they can change the channel, had to ASK 3 TIMES by the time they changed it....to another ***** channel/show (oxygen) food is good, bathroom & showere are clean.

Salad bar is almost perfect except for the lack of a nice balsamic vinaigrette

Small truck stop, small store with not many options. Only a few diesel pumps and a line for them. Loves is down the street, much better option.

They have made some improvements over the years the parking lot is large for about 100 trucks and the repair shop is good and friendly

Country Pride restaurant sells Fish & Shrimp. But doesnt have Cocktail sauce & dont keep the Horseradish in house to make any!!! Service was Good though.. Chicken Noodle soup was lukewarm!! Salad bar didnt have any Bacon Bits on it either!! 👎😠

Basic TA. Nothing special. When I was there the ATM was down and had to walk over to the Loves across the street. The parking is on the ok side. Ive definitely been to worse TAs.

Excellent service in the shop got me in and out it took me longer to get in touch with my company roadside service than it took him to fix my truck.

This is a decent size truck parking.

Showers are small compared to other TAs BUT they are clean! Food is eh... (breakfast if its even open). Ladies at the counter have 0 retail smiles or welcoming skills. If anything you get a zombified hello welcome to TA(if you even get that). It is not a great thing when you sink $588 in fuel and another $15 for breakfast and snacks. Needless to say....blah kind of experience....

Went and bought two similar items one came up as 399 where the other was 299 the girl working the register couldnt get the one price to work so she rescanned the first item again which was 399 and just said your total is whatever... totally trying to rip me off and taking the easy way out and I was like they are separate prices... oh but it wouldnt scan... well that doesnt mean charge the customer a higher price just because you cant figure out how to scan something correctly...beware of them attempting to rip off customers and check your price tags when checking out

Average truck stop. Its a little on the sketchy side. Seems like its probably a good place to pick up hookers if youre into that kind of thing. The sign outside said they had some kind of amazing burritos but I didnt see any burritos at all. Theres an attached restaurant of some sort though. Looks like your typical diner but I didnt actually eat there. They had little packets of minced onion for the hot dogs at the gas station, weird but surprisingly tasty. Its a pretty convenient location right off of 281, came through in a clutch since I had to pee like crazy.

What a JOKE! I have never had worse experience at any truck stop anywhere! I stopped to fuel, shower, eat. The first shower they tried to put me in had wet towels on the toilet. Afterwards, I stopped by Tule Tree, home of the legendary burrito according to all the signs. It was just before 9:00 p.m. I spoke with the young lady behind the counter, Patricia. I told her I was thrilled that they were there. I told Patricia that I just needed to run my shower bag out to the truck to drop it off, and that I would be right back. I took my bag to the truck, dropped it off, and returned in under five minutes. When I got back, the lights were off and another lady, Lilly, the person in charge, were closing out the register and putting everything away. I asked are you guys closed?, at which point Lilly piped in and said yes we are. I looked at Patricia and asked Why didnt you tell me you were closing? I would have ordered two minutes ago when I was in here. She looked at me, then looked at Lilly, the older lady, then back at me, and said sorry. Guess Ill never get to experience one of the legendary burritos, because Ill never be back.

Small but very functionable. Clean, well stocked, friendly. I travel the 281 South route into the Rio Grande Valley quite frequently and have made it my favorite truck stop.

Went into the shop today for service and was denied by the woman behind the plexiglass because I didnt have a mask. If youre going to require a mask than you should supply them. Beyond rude and disrespectful.

Even if you utilize the TA app for setting up a service work order no abides by it so your on your own if you need service done here.

Has a restaurant for Truck drivers, you can gas up at the pump, theres even lots of little things you can buy while your there. Great service.

Apparently not too concerned with keeping coffee ready - only one kind was brewed. In front parking for cars / vans is directly on the highway so pretty noisy. Generally run down and cluttered.
