Never go there again. I was there, just wondering what sneak to buy. The owner literally kicked us out and call 911. I even dont know why, i think it was because our rase. In the plaza, I dont understand why this kind of shop still exist. All the others are very friendly. I dont have this kind of issue with everyone else. The police didnt say anything about us, just say there is that kind of person out there. Reading other comments, they absolutely right. Dont go there!

The shop is definitely need to be closed.I dont know why the owner treats people like that, she just called us idiot because we asked questions about her merchandise. And she yelled to those innocent people whos parking outside, because they parked in front of her store, which was a public parking slot. Just dont go there, dont waist your time and money there.

We had the most amazing experience at Baro. The lady at the counter was very helpful. Explained us Ethopian spices and even gave us some spices from her kitchen that she was out in the store.

This store needs to close ASAP!! The lady who work there picked the phone and she is so rude. I asked her politely and she answered in a rude way. If she can’t serve people in a good manner, why she opened this store? Hello lady, I never spoke with a person like you in any Habesha store. You can’t hang up the phone on customer because they asked you if you have Teff injera, you need to explain what you put in your Injera instated of selling it with out telling people. Why are you so mad when some one asks you if your injera is Teff injera or not? Unless you put some bad stuff on it? You need to respect and answered each and every question the customer might have, because you are responsible for the stuff you sell. If you can’t, close the store! I regret I gave you 1 star, you deserve 0.

Came across this place while running errands in the area and I’m glad I did. Owner was very nice and welcoming. Will definitely go back next time I’m in Edmonds.

A wonderful & very hardworking Eritrean lady owns this grocery store along with her children, and I feel this kindred spirit everytime very dearly. The atmosphere is quite hospitable, with a back-home-in-Eritrea like aroma. It’s lively in their you will enjoy entering and the impression you get from the down-to-earth mama owner is always uplifting and powerful! Fabulous service from the delicious homemade injera (order-ready) to the authentic spices and all the home goodies to obtain for onself it’s rare to find a place like this one!

This shop needs to be closed ASAP or change the Moran clerk. Her attitude is the worst in the whole wide world. It is very amazing to see a person reacting in such a stupid way towards a person that have ever met have never ever seen him before. What an illiterate personality is this? Change ur terrible attitude before u try to make business. U r not a nuclear physicist, u r just a store clerk and it is not that hard to sell goods in ur dead store. Don’t act like u r abt to launch a rocket to mars or something. Learn to serve people and be humble and polite PERIOD. That is the first step to make money.
