Went 2 look at Buick Envision. Found one 2 our liking, salesmen Fred did excellent job with getting the sale of our new Buick, tuning in our lease on Our GMC Terrian Denial!Has all the #s 2 complete deal. Anxious 2 take delivery on Monday November 8th!Awesome experience!!
The whole process went seamlessly without a hitch. This was the first time the car buying process just went so good. Would gladly recommend a friend to this dealership!!
We had an emergency repair on our car three days before leaving for vacation! The service department made it happen and we were not regular customers . Kevin and Trish were awesome from the first phone call until picking up our car after repair! We will definitely be using Anchor for future purchases and repairs !
Brought my dads GMC Sierra in for an oil change. Spoke to the tech Nick and service writer Trish on a few things that will need done next time around. Great staff very friendly.
Fred Haley, was very patient with my mother and explained things to her satisfaction. Excellent Doc prep.
Very courteous and professional, in and out in no time. Definitely be back again.
Have always been nice and every experience
I had a great experience with Lisa Gilman. She was very personable and patient with everything. I would highly recommend her to friends.
I came from Wilmington Delaware because I could not get an oil change appointment in lest that three weeks away. Anchor was able to take me the same day. I also was not able to get the car I wanted at any other Buick dealer closer to me and Anchor had just what I wanted.
I purchased my first car from Apple auto 🚫... I had a very bad experience . I felt like the salesman only care about making his Commission off of purchase. But when I went to Anchor totally different experience. I was very impressed with Lisa. Even after we purchased my car I called her a week later and she had no problem helping me with my question. If you are looking for a car this is the place to come. Also if you purchased a new car the first service is free.
Was taken back visitors room after car was checked in took about 45 minutes to do oil change, tire rotation and the multi point checkup after car was done the lady advisor explained what was done and that all was fine. she asked if i had any questions or concerns. thank you for doing a very good, professional job. sincerely, john conner
This was the most professional and transparent dealership that Ive worked with. Ian and team worked to get me the truck I wanted and clearly laid out all costs ahead of time. No up-sell, this was a great experience- from out of state. Well worth the drive to work w/ Anchor Buick/GMC.
They were very courteous and let me know that status of my service through out the day
Since we were not certain exactly what vehicle we ultimately wanted, Big John was very helpful and patient with us. He knew the vehicles and the various features they offered. Ben shopped and got us a great interest rate. We didnt have to reach out to banks, etc. We had been looking and shopping and Anchor ended up being one-stop shopping.
I had just moved here and always took my Terrain to my local GMC dealership. I switched over to this dealership and brought my Terrain in for an oil change and requested a loaner vehicle. I arrived and they informed me they could not give me a loaner but it wouldnt take long ( it took almost 8 hours). When my husband took me back to pick it up there was a 2-3 in long scrape on the front bumper where someone has turned the vehicle and scraped it against something while driving. It has not only taken paint off but gouged the plastic of the bumper and separated the bumper slightly from its original position, it was fresh with shaving of the plastic still clinging to it which I lightly brushed off. I was beyond upset, I take great care of my vehicle and had no damage to the exterior until now. The attitude of the employees there is absolutely horrible, besides the mechanic that dropped me off to my house, he seemed nice enough. Suffice to say I will NEVER go back.
Just purchased a used car from Williams Chevrolet. The vehicle seemed to have a little trouble on a cold start. The technicians were unable to locate or duplicate the problem. I have a certified warranty so I feel better about my purchase. The 3 associates at the service desk are not friendly. The interactions were awkward, especially with the younger female who is kind of snippy. All 3 need training in customer service and just smile for goodness sake.
Excellent experience with Steve and Mike !! Just wish they had more of an inventory at the dealership is all
Personnel very helpful helping me use Points that I had.
The entire Management, Staff, Sales & Service team at Anchor is outstanding. Knowledgeable, caring, personable, customer focused with attention to detail and helpful. The list of positive aspects could continue. They truly go the extra mile to help their customers in everything they do. Suffice to say, there is none better! Highly recommend.
Had a very pleasant experience here. Would definitely purchase here again. Big John Lindsay was a great salesman.
The sale lady made share I was HAPPY with the SUV. She went above and beyond. Will get another car from her and there
The dealership was pleasant to be at and I couldnt ask for a better experience
Excellent as always. The staff is excellent and friendly. I would never think of going anywhere else. Keep up the great work !
Truly unacceptable experience. From the moment I walked in the door I felt unwelcomed. From the filthy floors to the unfriendly service desk staff. My representative, Trish is particularly unfriendly and unprofessional. Today was my third visit to correct a problem that I inherited from a used vehicle purchase from Williams used cars and trucks. I first reported this problem in March when the parts were supposed to be ordered. The air compressor had to be replaced for the AC unit and the rear wiper motor was shot. It took several months and several phone calls (and no apologies, just excuses) to get my vehicle up to fix.Service desk: Dirty, cluttered with trash, snacks and drinks and dog food biscuits. The staff is also messy with an unkempt appearance, snippy with remarks and very unprofessional in communication with customers. I was not greeted well when I arrived. My keys were taken and I was told to wait. I only knew where to go since I have been there before. The staff appear too busy to show me where the waiting room was located. I was left in the hot waiting room for an hour and 45 minutes without any updates for simple part replacement that I was told would take about an hour. When Trish approached me it was very casual and she did not introduce herself. The only way I know her name is because unfortunately Ive dealt with her several times before. She announced that my vehicle was done from across the waiting room and told me I owed $100 for my extended warrenty. Remember this is a problem that was supposed to be paid for by Williams used car. She told me she doesnt remmeber me or my vehichle. Does your bisiness not have a system to track customers, vehichles and service? She walked away before I was done speaking about the issue with my vehicle. Very rude and unprofessional. She appeared as if she was in a hurry to get to her lunch break and made me feel that I was not important.Waiting room: the waiting room was very warm, arms and backs of chairs were very dirty. The carpet was stained in so many places I could not count. It looked like a large leak of some sort near the coffee area had ruined the carpeting. Trash was overflowing from the trash can. Several employees walked passed it to make their own coffee and grab bottles of water but no one seemed to care about the condition of the waiting room where the customers are supposed to spend hours in.Bathroom/lobby: the floors were absolutely disgusting. Dark footprints covered the common areas where the customers walk. My foot stuck to the floors as I walked. There were several small carpets but they did not provide enough coverage for the amount of traffic coming through from the service area to the sales area. The bathroom was equally as disgusting. The sink looks like it hasnt been cleaned in a while.Service representative George: I suppose young George was nominated to give me the final invoice and keys after my failed conversation with Trish that ended abruptly with her walking away. George was the only employee to offer any sort of apology for my experience today. He actually listened as I voiced my complaints about my experience. He advised he was new and didnt have much control over the situation. He also offered me a 10% off on my next service which is not likely that I will schedule with Anchor Buick Service Center.Receptionist: my only saving grace during this mornings visit was the lovely receptionist. Who actually stopped in and spoke to the folks waiting in waiting room. She is lovely. This was an absolute waste of time. This process started in March. It is now August 9th. Had I not been offered these parts as a replacement since they were defective when I purchased a vehicle I would have not come to this particular service center to get my vehicle worked on.1 star rating since I couldnt give it a zero. Anchor Buick used to be a nice place to buy a vehicle and get your vehicle serviced. Not anymore.
The whole dealership is amazing. Ms Eddie is the absolute sweetest person. She has an infectious smile that just lifts everyone up. I absolute love coming there.
I was treated like Family. Better than Family lol. This is my 3rd purchase from Anchor Buick and every experience has been enjoyable. No stress no hassle.
Tom, thanks for your response! Thats exactly what I was looking for when I requested Nick. If something is unsafe let me know I would have probably just said go ahead and fix it and address the other items at a later date. I was 1st informed Frank didnt even want to do the inspespection because my tires stick out too far past the fender flares. They do not stick out so I guess he took a closer look but failed it because they rub the inner fender liner only at full lock. Tie rod ends, pitman arm were within spec. Rear shock mount was rusty but not broken. Parking brake worked but not good enough because axle seal was leaking. Because of your response and other reviews I have read I may give you guys another shot. I love GMCs. I will however hand my keys to Nick! LolBye posting this review Im hoping to save someone from being taken advantage of. I recently moved from Delaware to Maryland and needed to have my vehicles state inspected. I pretty much do my own repairs but am not a mechanic. My best friend is a certified GM tech at a Delaware Chevrolet dealership but is not certified to do Maryland inspections so he recommended a specific mechanic that he trusts to do the inspections on my vehicles. I decided to start with my 07 Silverado and then move on to my 5 other vehicles. I made the appointment and was told I could schedule with the mechanic of my choice. I dropped the truck off on a Sunday night for Monday inspection with Nick. Put Nicks name on the key drop envelope just in case. Monday around 11am I get a call from Trish who was great bye the way that my truck was failing for numerous items and I needed to come look at it. Left work and arrived 20 minutes later. I expected to meet Nick my mechanic but Frank the service manager decided to have another mechanic do my inspection. So Im immediately defensive Ive heard horror stories from MD and PA vehicle owners about shops trying to rip off customers during an inspection. So the mechanic Jamie proceeded to point out a bunch of items wrong with my truck while Frank seemed to avoid the situation. So I tell Jamie to give me the list of repairs and give me my keys. I assume most people will just tell them to fix the car and pay the bill. My guess was about 4k in repairs. I then dropped off the truck with my GM tech. I have no issues with fixing legitimate repairs but my mechanic replaced numerous parts that he says werent bad and didnt need to be replaced. Maryland requires the same inspector that did the initial inspection to do the reinspespection so I had the parts replaced anyway. I paid cost for the parts and paid my mechanic cash for his time. Long story but I say there was probably 500 in parts and maybe another 1k in labor that didnt need to be done. I dont know if the mechanic at Anchor is inexperienced or if they are told to include parts to make extra money. All I wanted was an honest trustworthy mechanic looking at my vehicles and thats not what happened. I will not be taking any more vehicles to Anchor. Its a shame because Trish seemed just as upset as I was about Frank making the decision to change mechanics. I requested a mechanic I knew was honest and would have had no issue with letting the truck sit there until Nick had time to do it. I did take the truck back for reinspespection and handed them my receipts for everything and it passed but cost me 2k when all said and done. Im going to find another shop to inspect my remaining vehicles. All they had to do was honor my 1 request. I was looking at the Acadia for my girlfriend but thankfully theres other GMC dealerships out there.
I had some warranty work completed on the number 4 cylinder of my 2018 GMC sierra denali ultimate. I have to say that having an issue as serious as that after only 24k miles has me a little concerned about the quality of the vehicle. But all work appears to have went well? We shall see. The staff was professional as always! Thanks again!
Very friendly, no pressure sales, Steve and Ben were fantastic to deal with
Lisa was an amazing asset to have as a car specialist. She was extremely professional and had the patience to work with me on the purchase of my truck.
Salesman Lisa Gilman was fantastic. Her attention to detail ensured the entire process went smoothly. Love the truck.
Needed my power steering fixed. The parts were I think $157, these greedy people Charge me $800 for labor. Then try to charge me 2000 to get my AC fixed, Went to another mechanic on Pulaski highway and only paid 500. Crooks Took advantage of me because I was a woman. You ought to be ashamed of yourselves.
Fast and helpful, thank you!
Anchor staff is professional and courteous . They do great work with my vehicle.
Nice ppl they get the repairs done
Very thorough, accommodating, organized. Great experience. Excellent service.
Update:I will never recommend this place and this entire ordeal has terminated any possible future purchases with this company. We have been loyal customers for the last three years with absolutely no accommodations, apologies, or any appointments ending in a positive experience.——I received my car after 2.5 days when I was informed it was a 3 hour job. When I turned my car, it was completely empty of gas- literally at 0 MPG. I am grateful there’s a gas station nearby, otherwise I would have been stranded. This is the second time a rental was a downgrade, preventing me from feeling safe with my baby inside or being able to plug in needed medical equipment. I was informed it was thoroughly cleaned, yet found a dirty back seat and reading glasses next to the driver seat. During the pandemic, I was hoping to be assured it was thoroughly cleaned. I was also informed the delay of receiving my car back was due to them cleaning it. There was no evidence of this. I’m glad the job was corrected, but pretty bummed about all of this in general.
I am totally in love with this vehicle, it is all I ever wanted. The dealership people were all great.
The staff was very helpful and professionalThey made the process of buying a vehicle very easy and enjoyable
Been a regular customer since 2007. Small town values in a large dealership with a diverse stock.
The service and detailing department were very easy to schedule and they completed all the items needed during my visit! Thanks!
Was so good. Hope our car can be ordered and delivered soon.
Love those people....very courteous and professional. Highly recommend Anchor Buick GMC.
Straight forward honest sales staff.
Friendly staff and honest sales. Highly recommended.
From manager Jim to salesLisa Gilman and finance Ben it all went smooth! All were understanding and patient with my thought process!
They couldnt Fix my Tailpipe because they dont consider it a factory lift on a GMC Sierra Z92 even though it was purchased from a dealer New. They told me I have to take it to the dealer I purchased it from in Pennsylvania or Mighty Muffler. So atleast they suggested places.
Experienced staff.
Fred definitely know a lot about trucks he is the man
5 start is not even enoughGreatest experience ever.I was dealing with Tom mainly but Steve and Ben where awesome as well. “ it was easy”This place is by far the best experience I ever had buying a vehicle. And trust me I bough a lot of cars in last 20 +yearsIf your looking for straight up honest dealership, no pressure great customer service and friendly environment this is the place
The service department was quick, friendly and helpful
I was a little disappointed of the mess that was left on my oil filter from its initial oil change. However they have always been easy to setup apts. with and are very good about communicating issues or procedures that need to be performed.
Didnt like fox news on the tv
Quick, easy and done. Saved money by not getting a new battery at this time.
Anchor Buick is the BEST! Excellent service during AND after the sale!
Bought many vehicles from them. Very helpful and very friendly.
Very smooth transaction. Great communication
Kevin in service went above and beyond in helping with our vehicle issues. Will continue to bring my cars there for service
From the time I arrived through the completion of the job the staff was courteous and professional.
Trish is by far the best most engaging service writer on staff. Willing to go the extra step to understand and be empathetic.
Friendly and knowledgeable
Today my husband and I ordered a 2021 GMC Sierra Denali 3500 HD. Thank you Ian for making this experience go so easy and smoothly.
Great! Quick, easy, friendly staff!
Enjoyed the no pressure sale.
I was pleased that I was offered a loaner car while my truck was being serviced.
I dropped off my vehicle that had no issues for a break inspection and I picked up a car that no longer ran. Within 1 mile of leaving the lot the engine light came on and the vehicle sounded HORRIBLE. Their explanation was a common problem with the car that just happened to break while it sat on their lot??? I dont think so. We will no longer use their service department. It seems HIGHLY unlikely that a part would break when it was just having its breaks inspected and sitting untouched in their lot. It certainly didnt have this issue prior to this encounter. I wouldnt recommend their service. Thank you
Kevin Miller once again came to my rescue. I had crack in my windshield on my car I discovered on Wednesday 1/8/2020. I called him that morning and told him and he told me to bring it in first thing Friday morning 1/10/2020. I did and it was fixed the price was good and I was on my way. He is always caring and professional. Super knowledgeable and gives excellent service. Its this example of service that keeps me coming back and makes me always recommend the Anchor Dealership.
Kevin and John always great people to deal with if you need service for your Buick or General Motors or GMC product if you dont want a white-knuckle experience stop in to have your car serviced here these guys are great
John was a great salesmen. Made sure the process was quick and smooth . Friendly.
Friendly courteous and professional staff made visiting this dealership a very pleasant experience.
Service was exvellent nice waiting room clean wifi
My vehicle has been in the shop 3 times since I bought it 6 weeks ago for the same issue. I have just received it back from the third visit so I dont know how well you did since I havent driven it very long and waiting for the issue to happen again
Always very helpful and professional
Highly recommend this place. You won’t be disappointed. I’ve done all my business with the Williams. Thank you for trust worthy business and treating me like family! The sales manager, DJ, is not only really helpful, he’s also great looking.
Excellent customer-oriented support throughout the purchasing process. Explanations of technical and safety features were specific; John Lindsey demonstrated superior knowledge of the three vehicles we considered. Tom Williams made it a point to acknowledge our needs and make recommendations. We have high confidence that we will be supported by the dealership.
Excellent family owned business where each customer matters!
Excellent customer service and on time not a long wait time
Friday, 9/20, I took my 2018 GMC Terrain in to have the rubber molding along the passenger side window replaced. Things appeared to go smoothly but after leaving the dealership I found the front passenger door was improperly reassembled. I had a passenger in the car who was locked in and could not get out. She had to put down the window and open the door from the outside.Saturday, 9/20, Ive done some further testing. All attempts to either unlock or open the front passenger door from the inside fails.Im very disappointed that what should have been a very simple repair has escalated to a safety issue - being unable to easily exit the car from the inside. The Service department is of course closed for the weekend so well need to live with this until next week.I will update this review if repairs are completed without further issue.Update: Repairs were made and the door functions normally. While the dealer was happy to make it right and accommodating, its my opinion that a car should never leave any lot with a safety issue.
Purchased multiple vehicles here from John Lindsay. They always take care of me. When service told me they may be out of loaners, John offered his personal vehicle to me for the night. When I got there they actually gave me a loaner that just came in. Both loaners were 2019 vehicles! Awesome!
Very professional customer service. My techs were Darrick and Mark. I like their transparent style in their work ethic. The customer is informed every step of the way! Great job!
The service department rep. took me back to show me what caused the tire to deflate, told me how it would best be repaired and why it was done that way. As an older woman, I appreciated this so that I knew what happened and informed. Thank you to the service department for their service
Great experience! I test drove the Envision back in the winter & met salesman Matt S. I liked him so much I held onto his card until this week when I decided to buy. He’s got such a great personality. He’s mild mannered, patient, he took his time to insure I understood everything, he even gave me the sticky’s for the EZ Pass. He along with Jason made this the best car buying experience for me EVER. I did visit another Buick dealership, but the service paled in comparison . If you’re in the market choose Anchor, & this isn’t a fake add this is truly how I feel. Keep up the great work.
Amazing on point honest clean.
Excellent customer service
Larry and Fred did an awesome job. Communicated clearly and made the process super easy. Will definitely use them in the future.
Steve and Jason made the process simple. Very helpful, knowledgeable about the product and personable. I highly recommend them for your next GM auto purchase.
The service is excellent.
Great employees and great customer service.
Unbeatable service! Friendly and helpful staff! I went in for a computer reading due to check engine light. Technicians swiftly handled a blown sensor which was under warranty while I visited with a salesperson who never mentioned a new car!
I was sold a very rust vehicle brand new. Apparently this is acceptable. GM has a service bulletin that says it’s ok. Which no one has showed me. I’ve asked multiple times to see it.If you go online, I’ve read this is how it’s handled if you question the rust and corrosion that is very visible. Not just untreated metal parts but aluminum and painted parts.I wish I never bought this vehicle. No one will take responsibility for the problems and I’m stuck with it. The frame already needs coated because of rust.I will never use this dealership once my wheels are replaced and dealer equipped concerns are fixed. I also will use another brand of manufacture.
I had service recently involving speed pedal sensor. Service initially over committed on timing, which left me scrambling for transportation on day 2. Late Day 2 I picked up my car and it appeared fine for approx 5 miles. Unfortunately, the dash indicators and initial car symptoms resurfaced - smh.Returned to service day 3 at 8:30 am and was told theyd know something by the afternoon. However, no calls received so I called at 4:30 only to be told they had no answer yet (doubtful they even looked at it). OK, so now onto day 4, I received late morning call that car repair was done. Picked up my vehicle only to find that in my haste of cleaning it out before service I left my ashtray which i use to hold a few dollars worth of change for parking meters (I know, I know.....shame on me) Needless to say, the change disappeared (although the ashtray cover was closed). How hard up does their staff need to be to STEAL a few dollars from a customers car??? Didnt they get enough of my hard earned money already in the repair??? Doubtful Id return to this shop.
Took my car here for a 28 point inspection got charged 227 dollars for them to tell me its a 3500 dollar job so over priced brought all my parts elsewhere for under 500 an got the work done for about another 600 hundred dollars buyers beware especially since they dont show you the price of this so called 28 point inspection only good thing is i did have a coupon an got about 91 dollars off whew I probably never will return
PLEASE WITH THE SERVICE I RECEIVED.
Great folks to deal with.My salesman Steve is very kind and attentive to detail and all my requests! I think this is number 5 pickup purchased from this fair dealership!! You rock Anchor!!
Friendly and courteous staff.
I recently purchased the 2015 Buick Encore. I absolutely LOVE IT. The staff was friendly and courteous. They had me in and out in record time with no problems. My family has purchased cars from the Williams for many years. This was my first and it was a great experience.Cudos to Anchor Buick GMC Staff! :)
The customer shuttle service was greatly appreciated. The car had to be dropped off the night before and after repairs were completed, I would not have had a way to get to the dealership. All personnel were courteous and helpful.
After searching the dealer exchange area and not finding the right GMC Yukon XL that I wanted, Anchor suggested I order one. Never done that before, Anchor held my hand through out the entire process from start to finish. A great experience to have, and even upper management stepped in to help at certain times. The best dealer experience Ive ever had. Anchor just did that little extra to be at the top.
Anchor always treats me like family.
