Absolutely the best experience with a major purchase. Our salesman Ray worked with us from being to end was very responsive to all my questions and emails. When we picked up the boat he took a couple of hours explaining all the particulars. We had some add-ons and they were very professionally done and far beyond our expectations. Called in trying to get details about a kicker motor and the fella I spoke with was incredibly rude and condescending. They had what sounded like a nice motor and I was asking about the best price (as compared to one I had found for less but hundreds of miles away) and this person was rude and didnt try to negotiate at all. I made an offer and he said absolutely not!, not like we cant do that but how about this?. Just a very unpleasant person to be talking to customers. Ultimately he said theyd take $95 off (which was laughable) and when I said ok thanks anyways he just hung up. Definitely wont recommend or use clemons moving forward.

I recently bought a Hewescraft in January and dealt with Ray. He was outstanding and very helpful and always returned calls.Since the initial purchase, I have had to have the trailer repaired as the axle seals were leaking. The service staff on that occasion was outstanding and went out of their way to ensure my boat was repaired even while they were partially shut down due to Covid.My most recent experience was with Dan in service. The u-bolts which hold the tongue jack on evidently were not tightened from the factory and the bolts were beginning to fail and bend. Dan contacted the manufacturer and was able to get new u-bolts sent to them. I however live outside of Salem and didnt want to drive clear to Eugene to pick them up. Dan kindly offered to bring them up well over half way to me while on his way home and met me to hand deliver the bolts! His service was outstanding!!I have had nothing but good experiences when dealing with these two people at this dealership.Martin - Silverton, Or

Clemens marina is where I shop for my boating goods. They are very knowledgeable and if they dont have what you are looking for, they will find a place you can get it! They also can register your boat and get your tags for your boat! Very friendly and professional service!They also carry a variety of boats from pleasure craft to extreme fishing vessels! When looking for a new boat I found just about every dealer not responsive to my inquiries, Mark at Clemens always responded to me, even before I had agreed to purchase a boat. Since no dealers in California had what I wanted I had to look to Oregon and Washington, and I can tell you when your from out of the area, every place with the exception of Clemens flat out ignored me. Mark was super helpful answering my questions and when I decided to buy my Hewescraft 24 Alaskan from them made the experience from then on out like I had never experienced in the marine industry. We talked at length on the power options and decided on a Honda main and kicker. We set an aggressive time schedule for them to rig it and met every challenge. Mark even worked with my lender to get them all the information required.When we drove up to pick up the boat it got even better, Mark thoroughly went through the entire boat stem to stern while the amazing guys in parts pulled a 5 year maintenance package together for me as a last minute request.Clemens went to great lengths to make sure the boat sat properly on the trailer, and she towed perfectly.They then took us to a local lake to trial the boat and I couldnt have been more pleased. We towed her home back to central California but the service didnt stop there. Mark was instrumental in getting me the information I needed while rigging the boat, he really went above and beyond.I honestly dont give recommendations often nor do I take them lightly, but in my opinion Clemens is the only dealer that understands how to take care of a customer.

After having a misunderstanding over a warranty issue, I went and spoke with the manager and service manager I was extremely fired up and loaded for bear. After some intense conversation we were able to work through the disagreement, not all transactions go smoothly in life but I do respect a company that tries to make things right. They have outstanding employees and would recommend them..

We recently purchased a used boat from the Eugene store but also had the opportunity to visit the Portland location. The salesman and service people were all just fantastic and when we picked up our boat the salesman (Ray) spent almost 2 hours going over every detail of the boat. Wow! The customer service was impeccable! We traveled 10 hours from California to buy a boat from a different boat retailer. We had made prior arrangements and when we arrived we were told they couldnt find the pink slip. They really didnt care about their customers. We Googled other boat dealerships and thats where we found Clemens Marina. To make this short and sweet, we came home with the boat that fits our wants and needs. Cant shop here again... they just cost themselves a future boat sale because of their service department.... they serviced our outboard a little over a year ago and forgot to put the seal in the lower end drain plug....a mistake that couldve been very costly... they wouldnt take our word for the fact that because of family responsibilities the boat has been in storage and wouldnt correct the mistake at their small expense..... they did reduce their charges but didnt care enough about our loyal patronage to waive the fee.. unbelievable.
