Great customer service great prices knowledgeable Staff

The shop has very loud speakers outside to play childrens music on a loop all night. I assume this is meant to discourage homeless people from sleeping near the store. It isnt working, obviously, but its very annoying to everyone else in the area. If you hate homeless people so much, you should either move out of Eugene or start building some houses.

I shopped around at the local 3 and Custom Audio had the best price. The install was quick and the service was good. I would recommend for sure.

We came to Custom Audio hoping to find a new stereo for our van, we could’ve gone with Best Buy but we wanted to support a local business. We spoke to Robert, who was so helpful and ordered the kit we needed and had the stereo installed the same day. We are so happy with our purchase and our buying experience. We will definitely be referring our friends to Custom Audio and will be back when we are ready to install our backup camera.

Would have given them 5 but several employees were engaging customers with no masks and standing right next to them as if they didn’t believe it’s dangerous. So yeah odds are you’ll be fine but if one of these guys picks it up they infect the rest of the customers for days maybe weeks. We have to realize that this all started with one person that didn’t wear a mask and now the world has millions dead and over 100 million infected. Don’t be that person. This is a no brainier. The customer service was good and the price fair. They lose 2 stars for gambling with other people’s lives in an otherwise good business.

They have friendly and on time service. Their open door attitude welcomes you when you enter, and then quick to help solve the different types of electrical problems you my be experiencing.

These guys are awesome.They’ve worked on my suv, boat and now my truck.They’re professionals and they’ll stand behind their work. I had a light switch fail and Jermy fixed it quickly with a smile.I’ll be back for more customizations.

Top notch equipment.... was impressed with the knowledge they have from helping the basic bass head beginner to someone knowing how to trick hair. I have 2 12s for Im trying out and Im very impressed by the company that Im getting ready to do a full build in a Excursion that will blow the windows out. Anyone that wants to do a build right I would suggest these guys to go too first.

I had a head unit and backup camera installed. They came in an average of $200 cheaper than every other store in the area. And they did it the same day in two hours. No Well we can schedule you sometime next week. Great customer service, friendly staff, and they even swapped out my license plate for me when it showed up in the mail. I know right? With the backup camera installed I didnt have the tools to do it. Called them and 15 minutes later, done. Made sure I knew how to use everything, answered all my questions. Honestly a bit of a rarity these days, especially in this area. Ive had some pretty poor shopping experiences locally (Im looking at you BestBuy) and this was a refreshing and much needed change.

I went into this shop yesterday on a whim, as I have been looking to see if someone could fix my trucks remote start system. The employee Jeremy I spoke with, took a look at my truck and seemed to have a genuine interest in fixing it. After talking with him, he told me to email the company the manufacturers my remote start, as its not one the shop uses. I took his advice, and the company emailed me back in 10 mins with the answer, and I was able to fix it by myself!Even though I didnt get any services done through this shop, the employee was very professional and talked to me like a person and not a dumb girl like a lot of shops have prior. 5 stars for quality customer service!

This is the first time Ive put a nice system in a car, and I wanted it done right. Went into Custom Audio with very specific expectations and budget. They quoted me under my budget and gave me a great deal. They explained the components, costs and options clearly, and not once tried to upsell me. My car sounds amazing.100% satisfied.

Custom Audio was amazing in putting a Bluetooth system in my 05 Mini Cooper. I waited only 40min and the cost came under what they quoted me. I had called stereo store and another stereo place in Eugene and both said it was not possible and or would cost over $1000. Custom Audio knows their stuff and has a clean store and awesome staff that help answer ALL your questions. I even live in San Diego and would drive up again to have another car worked on if needs be. Thanks again!

Dean has been in the business for as long as Ive known him (+15 yrs) and he knows car audio and security inside and out! He doesnt push products he listens and delivers what the customer asks for. I have a Subaru Outback with dual zone temperature controls and was told by another audio store it was impossible to ever change the system out. I thought that was strange so I did a little research on my own and found the part to make this possible. I then went shopping again with this information. Robert listened and was extremely helpful in showing me the different options available on the market today. He gave me a very reasonable quote and when the time came to do the install came upon some road bumps getting the adapter to change out. Instead of quitting, he kept on researching the information, which was only available in Korean, and through online translating figured out how to make the adaption. I would highly recommend them to everyone as honest and fair, and found they go above and beyond for the customer. Great experience.

These guys are knowledgeable, and arent pushy salesman like at some other stores in town. Theyre real, and theyll explain pros and cons of certain products in detail. Ive had a head unit, front and rear speakers, amp, sub, and keyless entry all installed by them. Very happy customer.

These guys are legit, extremely helpful, and friendly. I got what I wanted for a good price, and much faster than expected; and my system sounds great!

Had to update review, the speakers were not hooked up correctly, I would select balance to right, and one right door speaker, and one left tweeter would turn on, if I faded to the left, one left door speaker came on and one right tweeter would turn on. The line in converters were cheap and when I got a better amp it would clip after only 20% gain. My crossovers for my mids and highs were just lying behind the deck, not wrapped up, or tied, just clanging behind the stereo. Lastly the power wires that were ran to the amp were cheap aluminum and rca cables very cheap. I had another shop fix the speakers to be correct left / right side. Installed a higher end line converter, had my crossovers wrapped up, covered and installed. I also got new copper mesa wire ran from the battery to the amp. Basically had to pay another shop again, to do the same job correctly.

I just bought a Mazda RX8 & apparently the stereo kit for the dash is quite expensive. All the other car audio places in town I called wouldve had to order one special for my car which wouldve taken at least 5-7 days. Custom Audio had one in stock, installed it the day I called, & gave me a better over all deal than any other place in town. They had it ready within an hour & helped me afterwards with programming details. Everything from the product to the price to the customer service was beyond my expectations. I will definitely recommend them to anyone in the future.

Dean and the staff are so so helpful and know their product! I wanted to replace my stock system with a new cd deck, and they had just what I was looking for.I love that when I went in they treated me with respect. As a female, sometimes it can be hard to find an auto shop where the men really take the time to listen and help you. All of the staff was so attentive and so nice!Knowledgable staff, quality products, and best of all awesome prices. Next up is an amp and sub! I know they will help me find the perfect ones!

I hate to give a two star review, but it is well deserved in this scenario. I have a 2014 Subaru BRZ (stock head unit). Was referred to Custom Audio by a friend as the best place in town to go to for car audio. I had them install a JBL 10 sub and amp, bass knob, high-low pass converter, backup camera, and four strips of LEDs for interior lighting (plus a button to turn them on and off). First off, I didnt get a call when the install was finished. When I called (five hours in) they said it had already been finished for a while. When I got the car back the sound was terrible. The subwoofer was reproducing completely distorted bass, and when you paused a song the bass would continue to play for around 5-10 seconds. I also noticed that one of the strips of lighting wasnt secured like the other three strips. Plus the button to turn the LEDs on and off wasnt installed. I asked them to retune the system because of the huge distorted bass sounds as well as install the button for the LEDs. A few days later I have the car back in the shop. About an hour and a half in, I get a call saying that the bass knob I have is the problem with the distortion as the knob I have doesnt turn the volume level of the bass up and down, but rather just changes the frequency. They say I can buy and have them install their own bass bass knob and that will fix the problem. I agree (pay an additional $80) and they say to come pick it up in about an hour. I pick up the car (the car is backed into a parking spot up front) and the one LED strip is fixed and secured, the button to turn the LEDs on and off is installed and looks great, but the bass is turned up so high that if I put the bass knob past halfway it wouldve blown the sub at 50% volume. Plus the sub wouldnt hit all of the notes in a song. It would hit certain frequencies incredibly loud and then other frequencies the sub wouldnt hit at all. I just said whatever, paid for the install, and left the shop (I didnt have to reverse to leave the shop). About 20 minutes later I go to put my car in reverse and the backup camera screen doesnt pop up. Somehow during their retuning and other things they were doing they managed to disconnect the backup camera that they had installed previously. I go back for a third time to tell them this, and they say theyll fix it. I also mention the bass only hitting certain frequencies, and they say theyll look at that for a third time. I come back after a few hours and the backup camera is now working again. The bass however is nonexistent. They turned it down so far that there just wasnt any bass. The employee I had been working with said that either the head unit I have (the stock 14 Subaru BRZ head unit) cannot interpret some of the bass frequencies and therefore cant send certain signals to the sub, or that I need a universal converter instead of a high to low pass converter. Long story short, I either have to purchase a universal converter (at least a $100 install) or get a new head unit that will interpret all frequencies/signals (at least a $300 install). Ive already spent near $400 in installation fees, so I just leave and leave it at that. Two weeks later I go into Brads CarTunes and tell them this whole story, and they say theyll take a look at the car for $40 (the shop minimum). 30 minutes later I get the car back and the bass sounds amazing. I dont know why I had a bad experience with Custom Audio (I looked at all the 5 star reviews Custom Audio had before choosing where to have my equipment installed). The people at Custom are very nice and knowledgeable people, but I cant give anything more than a 2 star review as they didnt give me what I payed for. Brads fixed it in under 30 minutes, while Custom took a combined 12 hours to try and figure out what was wrong with the bass and couldnt figure it out.
