We recently moved to OR and after seeing some of the anglers out on the McKenzie River Ive been itching to get into the sport. Ive been fishing my entire life but, but fly fishing is completely new to me. I went into Caddis for the first time today to buy some beginner gear. Greg was a huge help and got me setup on a new rod and reel. I probably spent 45 min chatting with him about a number of topics. Hes an awesome guy and I was impressed by his knowledge and past experiences. It was evident that he takes a lot of pride in creating an awesome customer experience from start to finish. Theyve got a customer for life, and Id recommend this place to anyone.

Caddis Fly has always been my go to shop for fly tying supplies. Their selection is extensive and their pricing is competitive. If I place an order, and the item isnt available, they will notify me and suggest a substitution, which I really appreciate because I can go elsewhere to quickly order materials I need for a fly order. Most of the time Ill forget an item when I place a large order with Caddis Fly but all I have to do is call in and theyll adjust everything for me.I love how their staff is so patient and knowledgeable and I certainly appreciate how their shipments always go out and arrive in a timely manner.I would highly recommend this shop for anything fly fishing.

Excellent customer service and great atmosphere service people can point out the best flies for the right river. They will setup your fishing gear for you they also have fly fishing classes however they book up fast as of this review theyre booked till August

I’ve been searching around for a new 5wt rod and reel outfit, and thought I found it from another fly shop a little closer to my hometown. The fly shop is great, but the set up I bought was lackluster to say the least. Throwing about $800 at it, I was surprised how little difference there was between my set up that cost less than half the price. I sent it back, and found another set up I thought I’d like a little more. That’s where I was introduced to this amazing fly shop. The owner emailed me back almost immediately letting me know that the rod I ordered was on back order, and offered a discounted price on another set up that was a little bit more expensive, but by and large a higher quality outfit. I just received it in the mail, took it out in the yard to give it a few casts, and my jaw dropped and eyes welled. It was a moment of clarity, followed by absolute gratitude. Everything you could want and need. Supplies are at a shortage everywhere due to the pandemic, but they still maintained an amazing selection and had knowledgeable staff.

Ordered materials from 4 different fly shops. All came within a few days except for caddis fly shop. Then caddis refunded half my order after 2 weeks of waiting for some reason and i didnt receive what was left of my order for a month. Order from feathercraft instead of caddis or youll be disappointed.

The Caddis fly is and had been my go to fly shop for 25years, whether you need information, gear, guides, or rentals for travel trips it is your one stop shop. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly, i always look forward to going to the shop and learning something new.

The flies are fabulously made. I walked in told him where I was going and he set me up with a selection and I nailed em! Not a single fly failed me all of them held up. Great craftsmanship and great shop.

I ordered some fly tying materials here - frustrating to spend $8 on materials and then pay $7 for shipping on a package that weighs 1 oz and could have been sent with a stamp. Materials did arrive in a timely manner though - Im sure these guys run a great shop, Id visit in person.

Great website, easy to navigate and they carry most of the fly tying supplies and fly fishing gear anyone needs. The customer service is fantastic, orders are always shipped promptly and shipping is free for orders over $25, which is easy to hit! This is my go to on line fly tying and fly fishing supply shop.

This is a first rate outfit. I wet my first fly in 1976 and Ive delt with everyone from Bud Lillys Trout Shop ( when Bud was there) to Cabelas. These folks respond to your inquiries promptly and accurately. Their prices are fair and the quality is right up there. I doubt Ill go anywhere else from now on. Nice job guys.

I looked online for places with live bait and their shop came up. They did not have live bait though! Its a cute little shop though. I dont do any fly fishing either, but they should update their Google listing.

I ordered from their online store, and found there was a small error in the shipment. I emailed them and customer service quickly got back to me, and sent me the missing item. They were prompt and apologetic. They even threw in a free hat for my trouble. Customer Service is top-notch here. Im on the east coast I can tell these guys care about what they do. I try to make all my purchases for fishing gear from small fly shops vs. the big e-commerce sites . Keep on keepin on!

Caddis Fly Shop has had exactly what I need so far - every time. I want a particular hook - in this case a 4/0 Ahrex predator - they have it. Daiichi XPoint 452 or Gamakatsu B10? Yep. Theyve had the exact line and reel I wanted when I couldnt find either locally. Anglers are picky. These folks know what theyre doing.

Helped me with a complete setup for a switch rod. Super helpful and patient with answering my many questions. Highly recommend these guys!

Caddis Fly is a great fly shop, with helpful and knowledgeable staff. They carry an extensive assortment of flies and tying materials and gorgeous rods, reels, and gear.

Its a good fly shop but seeing as the eugene and springfield dont have any angling supply shops downtown they could expand a little to include angling and steelhead supplies.

Love this place! Everyone is very knowledgeable and friendly! The only place my hubbie and I shop for waders and fly fishing needs!
