This phone tree is impossible, PLEASE make it easier to reach the pharmacy by phone.
Was a great store now they replaced glass door fridges with lcd monitors. Half the time you go to the fridge with what you want. Surprise! Its not there. Even though the picture is. Just put glass doors back in
The summer temperature in this store is always hot!! Like hotter inside store then outside. Today AC n coolers broke. Its 82 in store and coolers broke n empty. Beer n drinks warm. I guess all the fancy green stuff dont work right. Otherwise store is ok. Staff seem nice enough. Never used pharmacy so cant speak on that.
Now a proud customer of CVS.One of the worst customer experiences Ive ever had. After waiting in line for half an hour at 5pm, I returned at 840pm and waited for 10 minutes in the drive thru, with no movement. Ran inside at 850pm to get our scrip before closing. Was told that they had still not filled it, and heard the pharmacist bellowing from the back that he was done for the night. This is with a 6 year old with an ear infection in tow. Zero human compassion and a complete failure as a pharmacy to fulfill their patients needs. Take your business anywhere else.I will.(And please lets not allow this megacorporation to use the ongoing pandemic as some kind of excuse. Theyre rich enough to hire another pharmacist, or at the very least find someone to answer the phone.)
Lines, lines, lines. Whether its in the store at check out or the pharmacy line. They need more employees, I understand that, but I wont be able to go here anymore because of it. Additionally, the pharmacy drive thru has been taking 20 mins per vehicle lately. Im sure its because the pharmacy workers are doing a billion things at a time, but its terrible to have to wait 60 mins when there are only 3 cars ahead of you and youre only picking up a prescription thats ready for you. They need a better system cuz this aint it.
This is one of the worst stocked Walgreens. You cant count on it having what you need. Freezer section breaks down a lot, so a lot of those items are not available. sugar free red bulls and extra large dog pads are sometimes out. Milk and eggs also not always reliably available.
Beautifully designed store but truly the most unorganized pharmacy I’ve ever had to pick up from. I dread having to pick up from here every month as I know some sort of unexpected issue is going to arise on their behalf. And their freezers are always down. I don’t look forward to coming here.
Good store provides what is expected but for some reason the ground in the front of the store is almost always dirty with random wet spots and stains and it makes me think of urine which is a little off putting I dont know if its from the panhandleers or lack of care but the service is too slow for me to compromise with worrying what Im stepping on as soon as I walk in and out the store the lady with the dreadlocks is always pleasant though
Horrible customer service, unfamiliar with whats actually in stock, and long Check-out lines.
The pharmacy staff is efficient, competent, accommodating and very professional. They go out of their way to service customers! I found the store manger to very helpful and attentive.Great store!
Best Walgreens staff and pharmacy technicians, David and Aaron here ! 😃
Love this Walgreens for the fact that its (supposedly) completely self-sustaining energy-wise. The roof is completely covered with solar panels, and theres also a couple wind turbines to harness wind power. Also water runoff from the roof is used in the toilets. Very eco-conscious Walgreens!
I had a good customer service so far with Walgreens. Their staff was friendly and helpful. Ill surely be back here again on my needs. Thank you.
If you value efficiency and friendliness from the pharmacy staff, this is not the place for you. There is ALWAYS an issue with filling prescriptions, new or refill, and literally no patient advocacy when it comes to either following up with your insurance company or physician. YOU will have to do all the leg work if they decide to randomly find an issue with your script. If for some reason there is a legitimate delay, dont expect them to contact you. I have called other Walgreens pharmacies to transfer my prescriptions and it is always refilled without issue or delay. I have also been chastised by the assistant pharmacist (both my partner and myself) and denied my prescription even though it was already approved by the lead pharmacist and my physician and was ready for pickup. Please, do yourself a favor and use another location. I live within walking distance from this Walgreens, but will drive to another location to have my prescriptions filled.REVIEW UPDATE 1/23/18Since my previous post, the pharmacist who used blatant discriminatory practices has since left this location. I can only hope he hasnt been transferred and instead been terminated. The pharmacy staff is now efficient and friendly. I no longer have to act as a go-between for the pharmacy staff, my physician, and my insurance company. Its no coincidence that all of the aforementioned issues have seem to have ceased after the departure of said pharmacist.
I have had great service at the pharmacy and in the store, and shelves have been well stocked. This store is a bit larger than some and the variety of products is very good. I havent had trouble with the pharmacy as others have noted (and Ive been going there for several years), but apparently one reviewer added a recent addendum that one particular pharmacist that may have been the problem is no longer there as of 1/2018. I love the fact that this store is zero-carbon footprint that includes wind-powered electricity, and Im happy that there lights are a little dimmer than most stores (saves energy! I wish all stores would do this). They also have an electric car charging station.
Slowest store ever. Takes them ten minutes to ring a person up with 5 items. Meanwhile, 2 employees come by and claim they arent working the registers today. News flash, you work in customer service.Whoever is the manager, never in sight, needs to hire a team with a better mindset, and cashiers that know how to move quickly. After all, this is a CONVENIENCE store, right?
David is the best in pharmacy. Always polite, courteous and quick! Thank you David! Excellent customer service! Jw
I have spent over an hour trying to get someone in the pharmacy to answer the phone. I have listened to bad music, interminable rings and been repeatedly disconnected. Absolutely the worst experience ever.
This store is the special eco-friendly Walgreens. It looks like such from the outside. Inside it looks like a regular modern Walgreens. The staff is helpful but sometimes checking out takes too long.
Customer service at the pharmacy is atrocious. They are always checking out people doing their normal shopping EVEN when theres a line. Seriously people--pharmacy line should be for people filling and picking up prescriptions, not buying a cart full of other stuff. The only reason I come here is because of my insurance. I would never step foot in here again if I could help it. I blame it on the store and not the people though--the people at the pharmacy counter are generally helpful. (Thats the only reason for two stars.)
Congratulations, Walgreens on building this Net-Zero structure. Other commercial and private establishments should follow your example. By the way I know its LED lighting and not florescent. Ill visit this store as much as possible. Any other Green Walgreens in developement?
Aaron in the pharmacy are very helpful, quick & nice. He should run the pharmacy!
I went in today need help, and young lady with cool glasses help me with hair products gave me a lesson about hair and then she help me find a hard color for my mom, i wish i got her name but if you need help in the store go see her you miss her she doesnt look like a regular employee lol she look like she still has her soul,
Makes my visit so complete. Exchanged ear-buds with no receipt. Friendly staff and airy architecture.
This pharmacy is the worst. Weve had more problems getting prescriptions filled here than anywhere else. Do not have your prescriber send anything here, particularly if you need to pick up in a timely fashion. Something must be malfunctioning with their electronic records. I signed up for the text when ready option; Ill get messages telling me to refill or acknowledging my refill request but I rarely if ever get a text that my prescription is ready. I understand not every prescription can be filled immediately. Does it really take a week to fill a pretty common medication? If thats where we are at in a developed country, may God have mercy. I never had such problems when I had prescriptions filled at CVS.
I havent had problems the few times Ive been there. Overall, good experience. Clean store, I liked the follow up from the pharmacy after my first visit.
Like their eco-friendly and modern building.
The cashier grant is rude making faces i don’t know why they get mad when u ask them to change things its their job they ask questions instead Even tho we gave him an explanation also they only had one cashier when there 10 people they should get more cashiers in front
Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Was coming from the ER to fill medications for back pain, and this was the closest pharmacy to our house. Their hours said they would be open until 5 PM, and although we arrived at 4:55 PM, were turned away and sent several miles away. Will never return to this location or give them my business.
Great customer service! This is also the first green walgreens! I love it.
I have been a customer at the Chicago Ave., Evanston, IL branch since June of this year. I get several meds from them . They are supposed to deliver the meds. They do not do so every time. I have to make repeated calls . There are multiple layers before you can speak to the pharmacist. This is not only inconvenient but also potentially dangerous because without the medication on time I could get into serious trouble. I am switching to a different pharmacy. I would NOT recommend this pharmacy to anyone.
Always friendly and helpful staff, love that its a net - zero building.
The new Walgreens sucks. Built like an airplane hangar. I expected a B-52 to come rolling through. Dim lighting from widely spaced flourescent bulbs way, way up there at the ceiling. Huge plate glass windows made the place very cold. Stock is placed as low as the floor. The architect must be a midget. Entry is revolving door so you cant bring a cart in. Exit is hidden around the corner. Neither is automatic. Stock isnt any larger than before. Some construction company owned by the CEOs brother-in-law must have made a bunch of money building this monstrosity. Stockholders take note. I was a long-time customer at the previous store, but Ill never go in here again.
The one-star rating is for the pharmacy, not the rest of the store. They made me jump through a bunch of hoops to get an Rx refilled, told me it would be ready on Friday, I showed up on Saturday to pick it up, and they hadnt filled it. They made a bunch of excuses, basically blaming me. I told them that if they had a problem refilling my Rx on time, they should have called me. Waste of my time.
Very nice male pharmacist
Dont live up to advertised point rewards.
First zero carbon footprint Walgreens - gotta support that!
Pharmacy is horrible
One of the typical American pharmacies, full of articles of all kinds. It has things that are not available in other supermarkets, such as birthday cards, toys, or medications. It has a charger for electric cars. It has self-service.
