I didnt know what to expect after having gone to a different eye doctor for years, but my insurance changed, so I had to make a change. I scheduled my appointment on my 60th birthday to distract me from facing that big number. Honestly, it was a wonderful experience. Everyone was so helpful. Dr Stefan Hanish did a great job! He was excellent. Tori and Carla were awesome. They took alot of time to help me pick my frames - both of them did a great job!! I cant wait to get my new glasses :-)

The eye doctor was amazing I felt like he listened to me didn’t rush me out I wasn’t a number his other staff sucked no greeting no friendly staff

The visit went well. It did take longer than I expected. The only other note was my appointment was not with the doctor I had scheduled with. The doctor was great, just not who I usually see.

I had been using the by same eye care provider for 20 plus years . When I would visit the staff acted like I was an inconvenience and a bother .I was totally surprised and very pleased with the attentiveness and attention I was given . Everything was explained to me in a way I could understand and make a informed decision from eye exam on what I needed as far as my contacts and eyeglass choices .You have earned a new customer .I will return and give repeat business .

The Dr. and staff were excellent however I came from out of state because I had lost my glasses and thought I could get them in an hour or so. After almost 3 hours I was told that the lab was down and I could not get them. People should be told this before spending 1 1/2 hours coming to the store and 3 hours there.

The staff was awesome. I loved how the dr talked to me about my eyes and explained certain things to me.

Perfect service. Hard to find these days

Previously to this visit, we had been going to EyeMart-East. The past few years we have not been happy with the service and the quality of our eyeglasses. We always saw Dr. Stuart Shake and were very please with his care. Our daughter, Laura Collier and her family use Lens Crafter and Keen Eyecare Consultants. So happy we made the switch.

Experience was great from front to end. I was greeted promptly and given the forms to complete. When I returned them, I barely go to my chair when the eye doctors assistant called for me. The eye exam was professionally and efficiently done. The results of the exam were fully explained and questions were politely answered. I was also impressed with all the COVID-19 precautions that were taken. It was very comforting to know they cared for my health.

I really appreciate the extra precautions they took due to the COVID-19. It’s been a whole ordeal with procedures but it’s understandable and appreciated. The staff was friendly, accommodating, and wait times weren’t too bad. Doctor was very helpful and the testing wasn’t all too bad.

Told I Have to wear a mask to be allowed to spend $ in their establishment . Have done business with these folks more than once in the past but today they lost my business ... Can anyone answer me this question, what exactly does the vaccine do aside from make some people sick ?

Dr.Hanish was wonderful and thorough. He pinpointed a pretty obscure eye issue and refered us to a specialist. He took his time with us and explained the issue to us.

I was told “since it’s been 2 years since my last exam, I would need to have my eyes dilated or pay $30 for a picture. Since I drove to their office, I had no option but to pay the extorted $30 picture fee. This was never told to me when I made the appointment, or the 2 calls the office made to me, to change the appointment time.SHADY.

Everyone was super nice and friendly as usual. I drive an hour one way to get my exam at this office because every experience is great!

Everyone was so very genuinely helpful, made my daughter feel at ease, and went above and beyond. And, I have to add the sense of humor among the staff was much needed and very genuine! I will be scheduling an appointment for myself and my other two daughters next. Definitely will now be our official eye-needs place to go!

I loved the digital retinal scan and having Dr. Schmitt explain it to me. Overall, he was very helpful in explaining the results of my exam and the type of vision correction that would be most beneficial for me.

The staff are always so kind and helpful. I have been going here for years and will continue to do so, despite it being out of my instance network. The care they provide is thorough and worth the extra money.

My appointment was at 3:45, I arrived early to do paper work. I knew that Id be waiting a while seeing how busy it was. I didnt have a problem with waiting. However, I felt my eye exam was rushed and that I was rushed to the point where I couldnt express a symptom that I had marked on the paper work I had done.

Dr. Schmitt went outside the box for me as I wear RGP lenses and am now at the age where I needed readers while wearing them to see to read. He researched and found a special premium multifocal RPG lens for me to try. They are perfect for me as I do not need readers to read my charts and computer notes anymore and still have crisp, clear distance vision. I am completely thrilled with the outcome. Dr. Schmitt went above and beyond to help me and I would recommend him in a heartbeat. Thank you Dr. Schmitt... it’s been life changing!

The staff here is exceptional! The dr. is very thorough and talks you through everything. I came in as a new patient for a situation with my contacts after I’d already had an exam at eyemart. The front desk person remembered me from our conversation and was able to relay to the doctor my issue. The dr. was patient and let me try on several pairs and wait around to check each one for fit even between all his other patients. Everyone was great with my children’s exams as well. I was met promptly, staff was friendly and the gentleman who ran my pre tests went so far as to recognize that since I was diabetic my blood suger was dropping and went well beyond and gave me some sweets to help me recover. He explained each test but it a professional manner and never made me feel uncomfortable

Very disappointed in the optometrist in relation to contacts. Multiple visits to try on his different recommendations. I just want a prescription for the same brand Ive been wearing for the past 20 years! First was told they dont have them in stock and now being told they are on back order. Meanwhile, I am running out of contacts and they dont have samples to give me.If you wear contacts I would strongly suggest you consider another optometrist.

So there I was wandering around the free world wondering if I could ever find an eye doctor who would help me. For years I traveled the earth with my monkey, Bingo. It was a hot summer day in the concrete jungle known as Eastland Mall, as Bingo and I entered the mall there it laid, Keen Eyecare, I fell to my knees in joy, Finally I whispered. I got up and walked through the Hellish gates known as Crafters of the Lens type; these gates guarded by hideous witches and wizards but luckily I had three leprechaun toes and 3oz. of camel tears which warded off the evil until I made it into paradise that is Keen Eyecare. I almost couldnt believe my eyes, flat screen T.V.s, beautiful women, I thought for sure I was dead. As I got examined and checked out I felt like I had been given a second chance and Bingo and I went on to see what this crazy world had in store for us next. But yeah fam, 5/5 stars would return. GG Keene Eyecare. The Burgess OUT.
