My son has been playing drums with Paul over a year and absolutely loves it. Paul has been such a wonderful teacher hes very patient consistent and makes each lesson enjoyable. 😊😊😊

I have only been working with the amazingly knowledgeable & talented Emily Herivel out of the Everett, WA location for 5 weekly lessons, and she not only works with me on my goals of expanding my vocal range (hopefully someday also whistle register capabilities), but also very good with learning to (sight) read music, which is not a requirement for singers, however I had this as a goal and she has actually provided worksheets for learning the octave scales, pentascales & pentachords as well as rhythm counting. Ive already gained an extra octave between lower chest voice & higher sopranic register just since beginning here in March this year (by ZOOM, no less until July switched to in-person lessons). Emily Herivel is amazing, has my utmost respect for her teaching approach (very hands-on & demonstrates with you in person correct posture of body, mouth shapes for clear tonal sounds & proper diaphragm breath control), highly recommend her!!She also teaches piano, which I hope to add later this year, amongst other musical instruments.The staff at 4/4 Music are always very professional and polite, no matter what you are calling about, theyre happy to help. Ben in Everett has been such a great musical influence on my son. My son Ray has taken guitar lessons from Ben for over 4 years and he has encouraged him to creat his own music.

We started our girls lessons with 4/4 over seven years ago and cant say enough positive things about them. Their teacher, Jessica Curry, isnt just kind and encouraging, she is an amazing musician and instructor. We are so glad she has been an integral part of our girls lives!

As an adult, I feel so lucky to have found the 4/4 School of music! I am 26 years old and was finally able to cross off my dream of taking voice lessons. In February I will have officially finished my first year!If I could recommend an instructor it would be Jordan. Being an adult I was most nervous about being “too old” and afraid the instructors wouldn’t know what to do with me. But Jordan was quick to determine my skill level and supply appropriate lessons for my age. I feel like he takes my goals seriously regardless of my age, and am able to go home after each lesson with more knowledge and technical ability than the last.If the passion for mastering your voice as an instrument is a goal of yours, I highly recommend the 4/4 Music School. It really saves a lot of time and stress when researching where to begin your journey.

The customer service of this company is great! Very friendly and helpful on the admin side. Our piano teacher is Ben. He is so excited and positive about music. He loves it! And that feeling he creates has been contagious for my daughter. She enjoys playing and learning the relevant pieces that she and Ben pick out together. Additionally, he plays his guitar alongside her sometimes which allows her to see and experience how the two instruments sound and it creates some very powerful music even on the simple songs she learning. We have been so impressed that we added our other daughter to his teaching roster.

Initially I chose 4/4 School of Music for their location and availability of lessons. Interactions with staff have been customer-focused, professional and reasonable. My music teacher, Austin Schuyler, is great to work with. Besides being an awesome musician, he is very patient, is committed to my learning and is teaching me about music and how to play the ukulele. His passion for music is contagious! I recommend both the school and Austin.

We started coming here so my 9 y.o. daughter could take guitar lessons. Austin has been amazing! He’s super nice, super patient, super talented, and really good at what he does! I recommend him for everyone. We’ve been so pleased with the school that my wife and I have both started taking ukulele lessons from another one of their incredible and talented teachers!

My 10 year old son has lessons with Alina at the Everett school. Alina is very proficient on piano and a wonderful teacher. She seems to genuinely love kids and explains things in a way that they can understand. She always pushes just the right amount so the my son can be inspired to improve himself with out becoming frustrated. He always has fun at his lessons which goes a long way towards sticking with it.Alina will also encourage the students to do the recitals and will be there with them for encouragement the whole time (which makes for a long day as she has lots of students).The school itself is also excellent, the staff is friendly and the customer service emails are answered very promptly and they will always take care of you.

My son has Jessica Curry as his teacher. He started taking her piano class in July this year and Im amazed at how much progress he has been making. Jessica is an amazing teacher!!! She is patient, kind, accommodating, encouraging, understanding and talented! So glad my son gets to be taught by an awesome teacher! 🤗❤

I take guitar lessons from Curtis and he is awesome! He knows what music I like and always picks out the best songs. He has a great way of teaching that makes it easy to learn while having so much fun at the same time! I couldnt recommend him more!

We have two children taking lessons at 4/4 School of Music in Everett. Our older daughter loves Emily for vocal lessons. Our younger daughter loves Elizabeth for piano lessons. Both teachers are awesome! The teachers are patient and kind, and listen well to what their students want to accomplish. They have a great experience here. Definitely worth checking out!

Curtis is an amazing Base coach! In 3 sessions my daughter can play a full song. I love their the style of teaching. When you call the customer service line, they are incredibly nice, helpful and always make sure my questions are answered. I cant say enough about 4/4 school of music.A bonus for my Daughter, Curtis loves Blink 182 as much as Rebekah does :) please tell Curtis he Rocks!!!

Ben has been teaching my 15 year old daughter guitar for almost a year and it is a highlight of her week! Since the very first lesson, he put her at ease, didnt talk to her like a child and has really unlocked her love of guitar and music. Weve since moved 45 minutes away from the studio and my daughters only request was that we dont change instructors for her Guitar Lesson. Ben is awesome and perfect for teens. He just gets them.

I started playing guitar this year and I just turned 60. My teacher Austin was incredible, he knew all of my favorite styles of musicHe is very patient with me and never pushed me as my schedule is full and I have had limited practice time. I do love playing though and when I come back I will have more time. Hopefully Austin will have a class open

My 8 year old son takes piano lessons here with Justin. He absolutely loves it!!! Justin is an awesome teacher he has taught him so much. The school is clean and the staff is great!

The quality of instruction and diligent customer service was a refreshing change to a lot of things you find these days. Each lesson started exactly on time and was crammed with great information. The teacher was very enthusiastic and so knowledgeable, and if there was ever an issue with scheduling the school was very proactive in contacting me and letting me know. Highly recommended.

Ive been taking voice classes here for several years now and love them! Jessica is a wonderful teacher with a wide experience in music genres and is incredibly patient. Teaching voice is difficult because you cant demonstrate the same way you would a traditional instrument, but she always has a good way of explaining that is helpful and easy to understand.The school itself has always been great to work with, and its easy to schedule lessons and make adjustments as needed.

This school is great. They have a very helpful office staff and the instructors are the best. They are not only great music teachers but they are great role models to the students. Friendly and fun atmosphere. I have had my two kids there for about 2 yrs.

I’ve always really ‘dug’ watching people play the drums. I think it’s super cool and sexy. I’m a 47 year old female and I have ZERO musical instrument experience; —with the exception of the recorder in the fourth grade. So I figured it’d be a great idea to learn how play the drums! Ha! Paul is very patient with me. He’s great; I’m getting it at my own pace, and having a great time doing it!! It’s never too late to be your inner rock star!🤘🏼😎🤘🏼

This is the best experience for my daughter! Mike is an exceptional instructor and talented musician. He challenged and helped my daughter advance greatly (age 12, on drums and electric guitar- she even came home and gave me instruction!).The administrative office is also very friendly and helped many a times with re-scheduling due to our time conflicts.I highly recommend both Mike and the school.

We have 2 kids enrolled in the Bothell location for piano with Youn and piano/ voice with Clarissa. We have been going there over a year. The office staff is professional, polite and helpful. The teachers have differing approaches. Both are very knowledgeable and our kids enjoy their classes.

4/4 is an amazing music school. My son started piano lessons last year and absolutely loves it. Elizabeth Hile is his teacher, she has a masters in music composition and is great with kids. She is super smart but comes across incredibly humble and kind. My son looks forward to his lessons and in less than a year he has moved up 3 books and I enjoy listening to him play. Last month they put on a recital, it was so professional and all of the kids got a certificate and a ribbon. Bonnie in the office has helped me so much, her quick response and eagerness to help is much appreciated. If you are looking for a fun professional place for music lessons this is your place!

I love how close it it my my house. The teachers are amazing. I have two kids at this school. One has Piano with Jessica and she is just the sweetest and my child is really learning so much. The other has Guitar with Carl and she absolutely loves loves going to class.

Since signing up for guitar lessons with Curtis in 2016, my son Lukas has grown to love playing the guitar. Lukas confidence as a budding musician quickly soared as he learned to play many songs, thanks to Curtis, who is a wonderful teacher. Curtis is friendly, patient and always open to my sons feedback. Lukas really enjoys every minute of his lessons. We really appreciate having Curtis as his teacher!

First the 4/4 staff is absolutely brilliant and incredibly flexible and easy to work with if you have a strange and hectic schedule like I do and they have always been very accommodating for me. Second Ive been taking Bass lessons from Michael @ the Everett location for a few months and hes been fantastic. Ive gotten a real healthy dose of theory and form put into very practical and fun lessons. Michael has also done what I really wanted out of lessons which is push me out of my comfort zone and look at music and styles that I normally wouldnt look at on my own. Anyone can sit at home and read tabs, but to have some accountability and a different perspective is what I think you really need to be successful and Michael has done a great job providing that. All in all 4/4 School of Music 2 giant thumbs up! Thank you so much!

I attended the Everett studio and took Mandolin lessons with Ben. I cant tell express what a wonderful teacher he is. I am not a person with knowledge or talent when it comes to music, but his gentle patience and instruction along with his fascinating knowledge and obvious love of music were wonderful. I hope to return when my life slows down. Until then, Ill be practicing!

I really recommend 4/4 school. They have an amazing admin and staff. My son has taking drums classes with Mike ODoherty for 2 years so far and, he really enjoys him. Mike is patient and knows how to keep my son focused. My family is completely satisfied with the school.

I learned how to play the drums with Paul at this school, and he is a great teacher. The lessons are packed from beginning to end with useful advice and a variety of styles, from rock to jazz to bossa nova. I learned at my own pace and was encouraged to choose what I wanted to learn next.

Great instructors, great scheduling, great environment to learn. I take voice lessons and the instructors are helping me to advance while teaching a strong foundation. The scheduling system is convenient and I have had a great experience. I highly recommend 4/4 School of Music!!

Took lessons here for a few months. My instructor Zack was really knowledgeable and presented information to me in a way that was really accessible. The no refund policy is a bit strict IMO but if there is a cancellation you can schedule a make up lesson. Saw mostly kids getting lessons here but I am 23 and still learned a lot.

I have been taking voice lessons from Jessica for a while now, and she is a great instructor. Shes patient, caring, and awesome! If you are looking for a voice and/or piano instructor, look no further than Jessica!

I really enjoy 4/4. As a 40 year old learning piano I can’t say enough how great my instructor (Justin) is. He simplifies the lessons and makes it fun. I learned quickly and can’t thank him enough.

My kids take lessons at 4/4 school of music on 132nd street. My daughter takes piano lessons from Ben and my son takes guitar lessons from Zach. Both teachers have been so great about working with the music styles that my kids want to play. They both have also done such a great job about firmly and kindly encouraging them to do the practice that they need to do. I am very glad that we found this place.

My son started his violin lesson 6month ago at Everett location and what can I say. It is great. Not only a violin but also lots of other music lessons you can take here as well. I highly recommend 4/4 music scholl.

We have been sending our son to Music Lessons at the 4/4 School of Music for over two years now. His primary focus has been on the drums but he has also had lessons on the guitar and piano with different teachers. All of the teachers have been amazing, highly professional, and dedicated to not only giving great lessons but expanding his proficiency and appreciation for music/other instruments as a whole. They engage/listen to the student on his/her own level and dont talk down to the student. We have an extremely busy schedule as most parents do so their ability to reschedule lessons due to schedule conflicts or vacations has been wonderful. We couldnt be happier with the level of instruction or the caring and nurturing atmosphere. We have recommended the school to many of our friends and contacts and they all have had nothing but positive experiences.

My daughter Arya and I have been taking guitar lessons with Justin at the 4/4 school of music for about a year now. We both started without any experience with musical instruments and this was our first foray into music. We feel so fortunate to have had Justin as our guitar teacher. He is a talented guitar player and an exceptional teacher. He is very good with both kids and adults. We learnt a lot in the past year from him and had a lot of fun in the process!

We have been at 4/4 almost 6 years. Whenever I have had any issue with an instructor or scheduling, the staff have been so accommodating. My children have made tremendous growth, love music and love playing. They currently have Ben and Jessica, who are professional, dedicated, and wonderful musicians that inspire my children every week.
