Had a equipment failure the day before a show. I arrived 5 minutes after closing and Chris took care of me like a boss. I really appreciate. I very rarely give 5 stars, it takes something remarkable and thats what I got.
They didnt have the book I was looking for but I got everything else I needed and the clerk was very helpful!
Friendly employee. Very helpful and knowledgeable. I was guided directly to what I wanted.
Great feed back from staff, recommended I try some new strings and I love em!
Love KK music.
They were not allowing in store shopping other than pickup or to pay rental fees. They should probably note this here on Google. I saw no reason for not allowing browsing when all other businesses currently are.
Over the past 7 years we have rented wind & string instruments, taken French horn & Cello lessons, purchased accessories & ukuleles, & had repairs done here (sometimes for free). They have been consistently professional & experts in all things musical. The staff is always helpful & friendly, and we cannot recommend them enough!
Broke a drum head on the day of performance for one of our drum line elements at my church. Called ahead and they kept their doors open and had the snare head ready to go by the time we got there. Thanks for your time and care to help us out in our time of need! Please shop here if you can, been here before and their employees are amazing, and is over all just an amazing shopping experience. Thanks for saving our bacon in our time of need!!!
Called ahead to ask if they were purchasing used drum sets and asked to verify if they were currently buying them. Was told yes and to bring it in. Showed up at the store and was told the manger wasn’t interested in looking at what I had and they weren’t interested in purchasing.
Fantastic store and very helpful staff
Fantastic! I once went there two days in a row and I thought that they would be annoyed because me and some other people were there with me and we kept asking if we could do all of these things, and they were totally cool with it. They were just as helpful as the first time we went. When ever I get a chance to go there I always take it! They have an amazing keyboard selection and ukulele selection. Not much on drums though. I dont play drums but if someone who does and went there they wouldnt have much for them.Over all, amazing store! If people complain about getting ignored, GROW UP! Dont just sit around and mope, go and ask someone if you need something! Dont be a baby and cry about it.Great store, 10/10
Very rarely do they have what I need when I go there. The staff are friendly, and if you are looking for school instruments they will be able to take care of you. But if it is professional audio gear you need, good luck. You will be better off making the trip to Guitar Center.
Good choice of music and awesome service. They dont always have music for my instrument(baritone/euphonium), but I explore other things here as well. Maybe some day I will come for lessons. Also it smells good in this store.
A few months back I bought a all ebony fender guitar here, the guy said it came with a free set up. Waited 4 days to get the guitar and the setup was never done when I got it back. Whole thing was fishy. I have bought other things here but I wouldnt trust them much beyond a couple hundred bucks. Hate to have that on a d-12 or 28.
Every visit has been a pleasure. Kennelly Keys is in a rough business. Im sure I dont even know half of the challenges of competing with online discount music superstores but you wouldnt know it when you visit. The people that work there seem to genuinely care; theyre patient, polite, and pleasant.
Really cool staff, helpful especially in a pinch. Always a solid choice for music equipment.
JMR assisted us when we came in the Store for buying an acoustic guitar for a beginner. I had a certain guitar in mind with a price range that they had in store and he also showed us some different guitars in our price range. No pressure to buy or try to upsell. He tuned it for me at the store and offered free services within a first 30 days. Very good experience. Impressive.
I go here regularly. Everyone is always friendly and very helpful. Ive rented a violin, had lessons, get my guitar and bass strings here along with other items I need from time to time. They dont have as large of a selection as Guitar Center but I go here if I can as its a lot less stressful than driving around the Alderwood Mall.
I loved the variety there is very good I like
Staff is always helpful, and fairly knowledgeable. That says a lot because I am usually shopping for ditial i/o stuff that is pretty complex.
Just bought a Blue mic and xlr cable plus a mic stand. These folks are knowledgeable curteous. My go to place.
Went in to this music shop with the intention of buying a fender stratocaster. There was no customers except me,and there was three employees working. I was in this store for ten minutes and I was completely ignored. I think that we should support our local businesses but if this is how kennelly keys runs there business I had no choice but to give guitar center my money. I was given a good deal and I was treated well there.
I loved it also Mostly has every instrument
The staff at this store was friendly and knowledgeable, with a great selection of gear.
Love the help I get and Doug Spencer and Jason Roberts for music lessons!!!!
Not helpful just want to sell you something go to the one in Lynnwood so much better.
UPDATE: 7/16/16 - The 5 stars remain. I have shopped here enough that most the main guys know me. Introduced my 2 boys to them and the boys were treated very well and the guys took time to answer all their questions. So to add on to the people who give poor reviews, Have you taken the time to build a relationship or do you go in treating them like they are amazon or some that you are the expert, even if you are, you dont have to act that way.I do not understand some of the low reviews. Personally, I like being able to look around without being followed by a salesman. All you have to do is say excuse me. Every time I go in, someone always says hello . They always have some real nice budget instruments on sale, The acoustic room is comfortable and inviting, you can test anything you want, and the guitar tech is Very good. I had my Epi SG cleaned up and set up there and no complaints, bought a HSS Squire Stratocaster and it included a new set up (as does all new purchases) It plays great. I also have the same squire being up - graded with some new pick ups and custom wiring. (This is why I buy budget guitars, I like to put my own stuff into them) I think they are great. Next on the list is the steel blue Squire Tele!
Prey upon people, bought $40 dollar cheap violin bow,,and later bought $60 cheap violin comes with 2 cheap bows from amazon,, guess what same bow I was sold for $40 bucks worth 5 bucks since came with the violin$60,,resell stuff at huge markups unbelievable, never waste anything here,,,cheap Chinese garbage off amazon then resell it for a lot more to unsuspecting kids and families and parents very despicable
Very knowledgeable.
