I love the bagels but unfortunately every time my husband or I go to pick up bagels the older lady is extremely rude!!! Yes the bagels are fresh and warm however I like my bagels toasted to a warmer temperature. I’m paying for I what I want so what’s the problem? Well everytime she gets upset tells me or my husband they’re already warm! Then tosses the bag onto the counter like she’s telling us to fetch it! The other employees are extremely kind but whenever we have to deal with her it takes a lot for me to bite my tongue she is SO NASTY!!!!

Great bagels here. My favorite is a pumpernickel/onion bagel; hollowed and toasted; with vegetable cream cheese, sliced lox, tomato, and onion. Absolutely the best.

No other bagel shop in the area can compare to them!! My boyfriend introduced me to this shop a year ago and since then, I’ve been a loyal customer! The service is great and the staff are very friendly, bagels are fresh, and my sandwich is always made with love. 10/10

STAY AWAY!!!! I never write reviews but this place got me!!! When I went there during pandemic I noticed they werent using gloves the pandemic and was shocked by that! I refused to take my order even thought I paid for it. I did not want my refund I just did not want to get sick from the hygiene of this place. Back then one of the owners ran outside to apologize and I thought I would give it another try one day. Today we called ahead of time to order pick up. The man on the phone was screaming at us that he doesnt have time to deal with it..... I mean I was speechless! First, I hope Fair Lawn Health Department pays attention to this place and if they operate under current health safety standards and second Ive never experienced anything worse as far as their customer service!

I love bagels at this place!They have a huge variety of bagel types and fillings so you can combine your own bagel.People at the counter are always friendly and nice.I especially prefer salmon and cream cheese sesame bagel - it is incredibly delicious!And they work from the early morning so you would be able to have breakfast there even if you are up at 6.

As long-time residents of Glen Rock, we had been loyal and extremely happy customers of Bagel Gourmet on Rock Road in Glen Rock for almost 30 years. We were devastated when its owners decided to retire in March 2020. Since then, we’ve been on a quest to find a good substitute, but it hasn’t been easy.We finally ended our search this past Tuesday when we “discovered” Hot Bagels on River Road in Fair Lawn!!! We were back there again today to get a dozen “minis,” which are simply SCRUMPTIOUS. They are perfectly crisp, not too doughy, and they taste amazing. In a word, they are PERFECT!!!We can’t wait to try your sandwiches this weekend!!!

Amazing staff, works like Formula 1 crew, inspite of being busy in the morning you will have fast checkout due to the staff, ibhave couple of families who left fair lawn but they always miss this bagle place, I carry bagles whenever I visit their home, if you are planning early morning drive you can stopby and get your breakfast in no time

There are two types of bagel eaters in north Jersey... people who go to River Road Hot Bagels, and people who have never been to River Road Hot Bagels before. By FAR the best around.

This is the best bagel in NY/NJ (and therefore the rest of the world).When I used to work in Manhattan, the office used to take turns bringing bagels for Bagel Fridays...most people would bring from their local bagel shop when it was their turn. After they tried these bagels when it was my turn, I had people who lived and worked in Manhattan paying me to bring these bagels every Friday...that says A LOT.Also, I grew up in this town and everyone in town knows what they got here. If youre a local, River Road Hot Bagels and Giovannis Deli are the staples. Ask anyone.

Bagels are way smaller than the other Hot Bagels.

I was there last Saturday morning when a mouse ran out of the kitchen area and I just ran out without ordering anything. I contacted the local health inspector, hopefully she could shut this place down for the sake of other customers.

They wont let you place an order. Cant order ahead. Worst customer service Ive experienced. I only gave 1 star bc I couldnt give 0

Awesome as usual. They do charge a fee for using a credit card, they didnt let me know that when I asked or I would have used cash. But food is worth it. We rerouted our trip from San Diego to Maine, just to go through Fairlawn to get bagels. The whitefish salad was wonderful.

Certainly one of the best bagels of this area. Most of the staff know what they are doing and move quickly....not all. We also wished they would offer potatoes (even if just hash browns) on the menu as a side or on a sandwich.

Family owned and run for many years. Staff is friendly and fast. Always expect a line Saturday & Sunday mornings, they have have 2 lines one for the grill orders and the other for just bagels. Compared to the other local bagels places I find their bagels to be the best. Always hot, nice crispy brown exterior with a soft center.

Bagels are always soft and warm here. Hot breakfast sandwiches are amazing! Place usually has a line during early morning hours. Tuna salad and chicken salad is also good. No call in ahead though which I dont like.

Very good bagels, variety of amazing selections, I got there around every two weeks. The bagels are really hot and very fresh. The staff is very nice as well. Although it is very crowded in the morning around 7:30

Best bagels in the world!!! Been buying bagels there for over 20 years and the quality never changes. One comment I would make is that they need some sort of a POS system with numbers or names... Its always a bit crazy in there in the mornings but they still deserve 5+ stars!

Best bagels in Fair Lawn, Bergen County, maybe the Earth!!! A grill for good breakfast sandwiches, and salads and lox for lunches. Take out only - always busy in the mornings on weekends, but the lines move quickly and the fresh, made on site, bagels are worth it.

I was so disappointed when going to this establishment. They were totally out of my favorite bagel at 10am. I usually visit this place when i come to New Jersey from Georgia and leaving without 1 bagel was a disappointment for me.

The bagel was ok, but the Taylor ham was absolutely terrible. Here is a suggestion how about leaving the Taylor ham on the grill so it can actually cook literally and I’m not kidding the Taylor ham looked like it was place on the sandwich without ever touching the grill That’s just lazy I’m sorry but take little pride in your job

This is the best bagel shop in North Jersey bar none. Bagels and speards are amazing! Only complaint is the napkins, they are the least absorbing napkins one could buy. Bagels are amazing! Line is generally long but moves fast.

Damn fine bagels and breakfast sandwiches. These are the big gluten monsters with the perfect snap and mouth feel for the crust. Service is speedy and fine- dont be the schmuck that orders their sandwich in the bagel line!

Solid bagel place in Bergen County. Always freshly made and warm. Great prices and nice clean joint with friendly workers. Smaller selection them Im used to and doughier than ideal but very good bagels nonetheless. Central Jersey/Trenton area bagels will always be the best. They even called pork roll Taylor Ham! Lol.
