This is by far the best shop I have ever worked with. If Im entirely honest, this review is long overdue. Ive been taking my vehicles to Pitstop for about 9-10 years now. Mike - the owner and head mechanic, has always been honest and forthcoming. From taking care of all the service interval maintenance, oil changes, fixing issues from other garages, and helping us evaluate prospective new vehicles. Mike has always gone above and beyond for myself and my family, time and time again. There is no one I could speak higher of. I will continue sending any and everyone I know to Pitstop because I can guarantee they will receive the best care and experience paired with fair and transparent prices. 12/10 highly recommend. Examples of what you can expect: Pitstop takes time to explain any issues with you and consults you thoroughly before doing anything to your vehicle. The shop is also great about providing you warnings if something may need replaced soon. Ive never once felt pressured into replacing anything or having work done. I commend the shop on taking the extra time to make sure that if there is an issue, I fully understand what the issue is, what it means for the vehicle now and in the future, and finally what the cost will look like to complete the repair. The work is always performed timely, even when parts need to be ordered, and the shop is great about keeping you updated on timeframes. With all that being said, if youre looking for a local shop that employs truly good people and is owned by one of the best people I’ve met, this is the shop for you. I promise you won’t be disappointed.

These guys have been great. Outstanding work and service and above all honest. If its something they cant do, theyll recommend another shop that can. I needed my carburetor rebuilt, and Pit Stop directed me to Brads Auto Service and the experience there was great too.

Went awhile back to get my BMW fixed. The owner is very genuine, he does not take advantage of you and has a very fair price. Will be going to him for now on.

Mike is always willing to complete jobs at hand and.... not... do what is not needed.......he is detail oriented and will not mislead you....to be quite honest when he was doing an oil change on my 99 cavalier I use to have he brought me back to look at the rust underneath and told me of his concern for my safety.....needless to say I no longer have that auto and I also alerted the dealership that took it on trade of the issue at hand with it...thanks Mike...you are awesome...

Mike is good and honest. Great quality repair at a great price. If I cannot do it, I send it to Mike.Once on vacation my 2008 Uplanders alternator was acting funny. I was in S. Carolina. Gave me a price quote on what it should cost so I wouldnt get taken. Suggested since it was charging some to buy a battery. That lasted until we got it home. Problem ended up being a bad wire. Save us hundreds! Thanks!

Just moved to the area and was told this was a good place. naww. Just wanted a oil change but I’m return got told a had a broken coolant tank. I’ve only had the car for maybe a month. Guy told me to pay for it and he would order it. I I fired him I was going out of town and was low on the cash so he said he would order the part and I’d come in on the day I got back.. Part was never order I followed up he said he’d call me right back with detail on part.. A month has gone by and since I have been to this place I’ve had some problems that were not there before. Took it back to the dealer coolant tank was not broken and things seems out of place. Never going back.
