Swapping appointments causes lost reservations and lost customer.Reserved two spots. Needed to swap the times, so called in earlier as a courtesy. During swapping they said that somebody took the spot in the system and the next available is next year. I lost this years benefit and so we all switched to a different provider. However they keep sending us annoying texts about due appointments regularly. Every time they do I want to write another one-star review somewhere. :(

First off! What a REFRESHING time!!!! I havent been anywhere since this pandemic and received such AMAZING service!!! My experience was GREAT!!! Everyone was so kind!!! From beginning to end. The entire staff is AWESOME!!! Every question I asked was answered. I definitely recommend this location!

Staff is professional and helpful.Beware that it takes 2 weeks or more from the order to receive the glasses.It is much longer than I have experienced elsewhere. I would probably go somewhere else next time just because of that.

Not giving a 1 star because I eventually got my correct glasses.I had my appointment done at the end of November. Was supposed to be two weeks before my new glasses came through. 3 weeks go by and I never hear from them. Turns out the glasses had the incorrect cut and they had put an 2nd order for new ones. At no point was I told and only found out because I called them.2 more weeks go by and I still havent heard from them. I call again and Im told the glasses are still wrong but Im welcome to come in and use the incorrect glasses in the mean time. 2-3 weeks go by and I call and my glasses are finally ready. But who knows for how long they were there. Because again. I called.ZERO communication from these people. Nearly 2 months to get glasses and had to figure it out for myself the entire time. Ever since they became my eye doctor the quality of service has been horrid. Wont be coming here moving forward. Will tell others to avoid.

Terrible experience. Was told my glasses would be 1 - 2 weeks. I waited 2 weeks and then called. Was told they are waiting for their delivery and someone would call me. Call a few more times and received the same response. I never received a call. I called again a week later and they told me the glasses did not pass inspection so they were making them again and it would be another week. Again no one ever called so i called today and was told they were in over a month later. No follow at all. find another location.

Everyone was so nice from the receptionist to the technician to the doctor. Everyone was so happy to explain everything to me and I feel really informed about my eye health. I actually had fun coming for my appointment!

Not as efficient as the norwalk office. There was a lot of waiting between check-in seeing the dr, the assistant and getting the glasses and contacts. Kind of like a disconnected chain where you needed to remind them what step they are up to.

Literally waited 10 minutes before anyone could have the courtesy to even ask me why i was there. One of the younger receptionist was in her cell phone to busy to even notice i was there. Terrible customer service. Terrible reception. I am sticking with the Norwalk location. The doctor on the other hand was amazing!!!!!!!!! But completely disappointed on the assistants up front. I when back to ask for a print out of my prescription and one the receptionist which was the younger one spoke so rudely to me. If they had friendlier assistants i would off definitely gave a better review.

Do not go here! I paid for one years worth of contact lenses and I was told that if I ran out early I would be covered until the year was up. I ran out 3 weeks early because the daily contacts were difficult to use if swimming etc and often needed 2 contacts a day if on vacation. They refused the extra 3 weeks worth of contacts. Go to a reputable ophthalmologist !

I was a patient of Dr. Silver for many years and wasnt told of his retirement. Made an appointment and when in the office saw all his plaques were gone. Covering doctor is nice but just not the same good quality service. I moved just in November out of state and told this to the new doctor at my last visit on October. I dont have insurance just yet and called to ask for just a small supply of samples to hold me over for a week since i was playing in a very important pool tournament that would qualify my team to play in Las Vegas for a cash money prize of 25k. i was flat out deny and told no sample there. In the past my doctor was very well supplied with samples. i was told by the receptions i could order them but i had to repeat myself over an over again that i have no insurance. i would definitely not recommend this office or company. i cant even give a star for this at all. old school service is just now found anymore.

I was a customer here for twelve years. Despite the fact that the women at the front would often be rude to me, and constantly would over book and then have no appointments for me for months after my prescription had expired, I stayed with them because it was my first and only eye doctor. This was the final straw. I had moved to Florida and scheduled an eye appointment at another My Eye Dr. that was local to me. When hurricane Irma came I had to evacuate back home to Fairfield and had to miss my eye appointment. Not only would Fairfields location tell me I couldnt get an appointment in with them until January, they also told me they couldnt give me any trials because my prescription was expired. So I cant make an appointment to get a new prescription, but because my prescription was expired you also wont help me (in this freak circumstance with the hurricane) and give me pairs to get me through until my next appointment??? Sickening. Apparently customer loyalty means nothing to them here. I ended up going to another eye doctor and they were so concerned that my last pair of one day contacts was what I had in my eyes. They got me trials right away while I waited for the new prescription to come in. Worst part of it all, I called Opticare (My Eye Dr.) at least 4 times asking for an eye doctor to call me back. Never received a phone call. Ive honestly never left a business review before, but was so disgusted that I had to go out of my way for this one. If youre smart, go somewhere where they actually care about their customers and their health... DO NOT go here!!!!
