I have an appointment to receive vaccines. I arrived. No one helped. Finally someone named Pam barked at me on whether Id been helped. I said not yet. Pam slammed her work on the counter before coming over. She rolled her eyes and spoke to me like I did something wrong and as if we were on a personal level. I dont know her and she shouldnt be speaking to customers this way. I just came over from another much much busier CVS and they were all friendly there. This store is no where near as busy as that one.

My mother and I needed to have pictures copied at CVS store in Ferndale, Michigan. Shawn was very helpful, pleasant, and amazingly friendly. Her customers service skills were excellent. She would be a great trainer in customer service trainer.

I went there for some make up l think CVS might be a bit pricer than Rite Aid but l had Extra Carebucks so it was cheaper Friendly Staff and helpful too. Nicely stocked shelves.

My family have been customers here since we moved to the area over 15 years ago. The pharmacy staff is usually very friendly and helpful. I’ve read some reviews that complain about this location being “out of stock” of medications - well that is because this is one of the busiest CVS stores in the area. I’m normally greeted by name by a lot of the Rx staff that have been there a while and know us, some even ask about our son. We have tried other pharmacies in the area and they have not proven to be a better experience for us - so we are staying right here with them. Keep up the good work!

I went to this location to pick up a few items and found the store well stocked and very clean with friendly staff. I also witnessed a is the witnessed a another customer complaining to a is complaining to a manager because they would not let him use a coupon for an incorrect sale. The manager was friendly and repeatedly informed him. He was rude and said he was going to file a complaint so I wanted to make sure to report this prior. 😊

Worst CVS ever. Multiple times my doctors office told me they sent my prescription to this pharmacy (it also said it got sent in my email) and every time I contacted the pharmacy they claimed they never got it. Finally, they claimed they don’t even have my medication that I needed - I’m sure they just said this so I would stop calling them.I’ve never had this issue at any other cvs.

Update: Delivery has improved immensely.Do not use the prescription delivery service CVS offers!!!!!! It has been one week today and I still dont have them . When I called to inquire I was told, exact words, Once it leaves our pharmacy, it is not our problem. Take it up with Oak Park Post Office . Really great customer service.

This CVS is the BEST Very Professional and saved me money. I pass the one in Hazel Park and the one on 9Mile by the railroad tracks. Heres the thing, I have shopped here for years and the store has truly declined. The pharmacy hours are very limited but it maybe due to the decline in service needed also. Depending on the staff, depends on the service. You can tell the difference between those who are from here and respect their neighborhood from those newbies to the neighborhood that work in the store. The cleanliness of the store has also declined. Things are all over the place and some employees argue with you because of old sale signs left up and we as the consumer requesting the sale price regardless of expiration date. If it is posted then it is as it is stated

This is the most dysfunctional CVS I have ever experienced. Ive patronized this store off-and-on for 8 years and every time I walk in here there is some crisis at hand. On several occasions Ive seen conflict between the staff, between staff and customers, between pharmacist and pharmacy techs, and sometimes the pharmacy and patients. They just cant keep it professional.This place suffers from some ungodly mix of characters that makes the customer experience disorganized, inefficient, frustrating, and troubling. At the least, youll walk out if there with your needs barely met and way behind schedule, at the most youll walk out of there after a public argument. That is really sad. This is not normal.The middle-aged white male pharmacist is a prime example of people to avoid. He talks to people (his support staff included) like he wants to throw them out of the store and theyre wasting his time.This place really does deserve zero stars. Just go anywhere else. There are several other CVS, Rite Aid, and mom-and-pop pharmacies in the area. Im sure many people love this location, but if youre unfamiliar, just save yourself the risk.To CVS, please take an honest look at your location and implement the necessary changes. Talk to your staff, maybe try a new manager.

Unfortunately too many bad experience at this store. Cashier was argumentative and unprofessional. Asked for different manager twice. She shouted over the PA in a aggressive tone for a manager. Finally spoke to the manager she calmly explained but poorly gave me an explanation that does not explain why they cant help me. Second time I was there. The pharm tech straight up said that they did not have a prescription in hand that I need. He lacked empathy. I asked him help me find a close CVS pharmacy that has the prescription in stock. I got a sigh. Hard eye roll. These people there need to get to together. I took my business else where. Rite aid nearby was able to help me and got me taken care of.

This location has probably been my worst experience with a pharmacy I have ever had. There have been many times where Ive brought prescriptions in to be filled and I have been turned away due to them being out of stock. This wouldnt be so bad if they apologized and were somewhat sympathetic about it, but there were times when I was made to feel guilty for asking for my medically prescribed medication that was out of stock. Like I was some sort of junky that has been a constant bother. I have decided to take my business elsewhere because of a recent couple interactions. I had my prescription sent over from my doctor and a couple days later received a called from the pharmacist. They mentioned that it would be a couple days before they get it in because they were once again out of stock, okay thats fine, but it was the follow up that was perplexing. They asked if they would like me to call them or I can just call to see if they have it. I politely told them that they can just call me when its in. Mind you, they said it would be by the end of the week, which was a couple days after the call, and I did not receive a call. I reached back out and they now told me that it would be over a week before it would be ready because they were changing management and were unable to make new orders.With the problems in the past and the new ones, Im done.

They dont value your time here. Told to come back in 90 minutes for my one-off script. The next time my doctor sends me on my way with scribble from his notepad, Ill be taking it to the East Nine Mile store in Hazel Park. Much shorter wait times there!

Just awful. Unprofessional, understaffed. All I can say is if you want your medication on time, dont get your prescription filled here. Even if you want to pick something up real quick for convenience, you wont be out very quickly. Youll be standing in line for a good 5-10 minutes.

I am from Florida. Needed a refill and this is the closest CVS to my sons house. Had to wait forever for the pharmacy to pick up my call at 1 pm. Never got a text or call that it was ready so at 8 I went to CVS. The lady at the counter was nice and apologetic for it not being ready yet. While I was waiting a CVS employee came to the pharmacy area and asked the pharmacist to answer the phone calls. She said no she didnt have time! Ill never go to this CVS again.

Im sure that the staff here tries their best, but dealing with corporate nincompoopery is just too much. If you wants a pharmacy that actually knows you by name, is quick, helpful and provides superb customer service just walk across the street to Ferndale Family pharmacy. These guys have been nothing but a pleasure to work with. Sure, I cant by my chocolate and a greeting card, but I get my scripts filled, a smile and the knowledge that Im supporting a local business.

No one here really seems to care about customers at all. They never call you when your prescription is ready, or if theres an issue with it. If you try calling, you end up on hold for 30 minutes and then get a wrong answer if youre lucky. You just get to show up, wait in the super slow line, and hope for the best. (Its never the best.) I only ever went here because they used to be 24 hour and filling your prescriptions at 2am went really smoothly. Now that they changed to have really crappy hours, no reason to stay with them.

Its basically like any other CVS... However everything changes each time you go, and everything seems mismatched. Things are usually not where you expect them to be. For example q-tips (which they only sell licensed ones CVS from the Cotton brand) are in the make-up section, and not the self-care/ hygiene sections.

Honestly, the staff is completely unprofessional. I have been here for photo and general shopping and havent really had the best experience. But Im more shocked with the pharmacy staff. The gentleman infront of me needed cancer medicine and was struggling with understanding what they were saying and they couldnt assist him at all. And just skipped to the next person. I just had kidney stones so giving him the extra time to help him understand means more than clearing out a line. I will not be coming back.

My experiences since the store opened have been lackluster. Some good days and some where staff seemed less than helpful - like I have to petition to get good service.I went to Ferndale pharmacy and they close, then rite-aid (which sucks worse) and now am forced to come here. KROGER @ 13 & woodward did better but not very close to me.At one point I had to scream at the pharmacists for all the store to hear due to a few times they dropped the ball. CVS - you need to step up your game or people will try other places soon.

Due to many medical problems my husband and I have to frequent this CVS because of its proximity and that the pharmacy used to be open 24 hours. Through the many times I have been I have not had a pleasant experience with the pharmacists whom are often rude, just dont care, are often distracted by coworkers or other patrons. The same is unfortunately true of the cashiers.Everytime I leave the store I feel often frustrated by the lack of any positive human interaction. It feels as if the staff would rather be anywhere else and simply dont care.What medications my husband and I can get through the mail we do that rather than deal with an unpleasant trip to this CVS.

The pharmacy is terrible here! They are so unorganized and unhelpful, acting like you are bothering them. I came in for a Rx and waited in the line, only to get to the front to be told o ya we are out of that. Ok when will it be in, she just said ya maybe tomorrow. I asked to switch it she made me wait in another line then that line sent me back to her who had 0 clue as to what was going on. Waste of 30 min. Just to get it moved to Rite aid where it was filled in 5 min.
