Average diner food. Above average service when Ive been there. Its obvious theyre short staffed, however. The waitstaff balances serving tables and delivering orders (by car). They didnt let the stress show, maintaining a friendly demeanor and keeping the food/drinks taken care of. Prices are average, as well. Its the only place I know I can get breakfast 24/7.
Little pricey for 3 for breakfast...43 bucks, but it was tasty and hot and didnt take an hour. Service was good, friendly staff. Cant wait to try the desserts.

The most fantastic server, Juliette, is a delight! Super friendly, outgoing, and extremely attentive to her customers. We first met her while she was in training, and tonight, we found out that it’s her last shift before returning to school. Im so disappointed in this went to get Bannana split and found hair in it!!! Should of stayed away from mega when I had bad experience 2yrs ago! Offered to make a new one absolutely not so I can have more hair in it?!?!? No one is wearing a hair net/hat/ponytail just hair flying all around!!! Wont be back!!!
The service here goes above and beyond the ordinary. Super friendly and on the ball every time. The food is great and the pricing is decent. Overall I give it an excellence rating and would definitely recommend to anyone in the mood for some good, all American food and ambiance. Keep up the good work!

I love the Mega Classic Diner so much!!! I discovered about three years ago and I still keep coming back. The atmosphere, the music they play, the food. *chefs kiss* Brooklyn is one if my favorite servers. She almost knows what I want before I order it. And I dont order the same thing every time, even though Im a regular. Two thumbs up for Brooklyn!! (I would give her four, but I only have two)
The Mega burger was really good. Not processed patties. Everything was sold separately. Its cool but I didnt get napkins. Do that cost Too? 😂Great food though!
This place is awesome! Cross country truck drivers looking for a hot meal during an ice storm! Walking in, we were greeted by very friendly staff. Service was quick! Great hot coffee and delicious food. Atmosphere is welcoming. Pulling into the parking lot, I said to my husband, Oh yes! This looks like a fun place! So pleasant. Oh yes, to all our trucker friends, bobtail only, no room for tractor/trailer parking!
Not bad, not great. It didnt have any food but my friends did. They seemed to enjoy it and the milkshake I had was good. One of the serving staff wasnt very nice but the other one was.
I’m not a picky eater by any stretch of the imagination, but this has to be the nastiest burger I’ve ever had. Burger was like warm.. tasted old and was chewy I actually removed it and just ate the bacon w the burger until the bacon was making my jaw sore from eating it.. I don’t know how the owners can sell people food like this and be decent people. It was seriously that bad, feel embarrassed even leaving a review, but it was bad, please don’t order any burgers from here.
They have great food & very friendly & polite waitstaff. The restaurant is very nicely decorated. The owners really care a great deal for their employees too . I would recommend this restaurant to all of my friends . Great service thats fast & affordable.
The managers are very nice. The food was pretty good for diner food. They forgot to include my sandwich in our order of three meals but replaced it with receipt. It is hard to return within their 24 hour window to obtain the replacement food when ya live far away but I guess if ya want it then ya make it work. Overall, I would eat here again.

I have been here twice now and both times the food was disgusting. First time I ordered a bacon cheeseburger cooked medium...they burnt the hell out of it...the Red Wings could have used it as a hockey puck. I just ate there again today and ordered 3 kids tender meals and a crispy chicken sandwich for myself. #1 the chicken patties were way over cooked, #2 they gave me 3 small tenders on a bun for my sandwich while my grandsons got huge patties for the kids meals #3 the taste was horrible. I ate one small patty off the sandwich but I had to drown it in mayo just to choke it down. One grandson refused to eat it was so bad, the other one disected it it, and the third one drowned it in ketchup to eat it. Dont waste your money. Also our waitress barely checked on us...we wont be back.
If you could give negative Stars I would. Waiting a half an hour or more for two hot dogs. Ask to get a refund and its against the owners policy.Better business bureau...

Stop to have some Lunch and they were busy. They told me to sit at this one table which had food all around table i ask if they would sweep it up and this one waitress said when we get time. I ask to see Manager and she said she was i ask her what the Health Dept would say if they seen me sitting in food from the last customer and she said to me if i mention the Health Dept again she would tell me to leave. She did tell me my food would be clean. She did not have 30 sec to sweep up this mess but she had time to watch her little boy who she had at restaurant. I have never been treated like this at any other restaurant in the US or any other Country. Owners if this is the best you can do for a Manager you should not even have one.
We moved to Philadelphia two years ago but last night we came up to michigan for a wedding. We had a middle eastern waitress and she couldn’t stop smiling she checked up on us and did everything we could’ve asked. Attitude in waitresses/waiters is crucial and the fact that she was so excited to serve us made the experience very enjoyable. Keep up the good work Mega.👍

The best experience I could ask for because of the service Kala provided. I called to place a take out order for my pregnant wife who is a nurse at Hurley hospital and Kala answered. At first, we were told very nicely that no delivery was available because of how busy they were. Kala was very professional and very nice. After explaining my wife is pregnant and limited on food options at the hospital, Kala offered to go out of her way and deliver food on her way home after her shift ended. She went above and beyond what I would have ever expected and we are very grateful. She made the experience exceptional.
Need to cook hot dogs & dont put to much of the coney sauce. I notice that Coneys arent like they used to be. Dont give old hot dogs.
Juliette is the quintessential example of the best possible waitress. I have absolutely nothing but praise for her and her excellent attitude as well as personable character.

Good food but actually had 1hour n half wait? Actually made our order wrong and they scraped the sauce off instead of making my order over again. EXCELLENT specials.

Took my daughter and 3 grands in for lunch and the food was FANTASTIC!!! The burgers are one of the best Ive ever had😋 the kids ate like happy little piglets😂! The inside is super cool. Server could have been more attentive but we really didnt need her much anyways. Definitely going back when Im back in that area!!!

If I could give this restaurant a zero star it would definitely have earned it. Your website says 24 hours and my wife and I drive probably 20 minutes there and walked in on a Thursday night at 10:50. There are people in there eating but we are told that the inside is now closed. Change your website. It’s not that difficult people.

Mega Diner is more than a Coney Island joint. However, it does an amazing business and is very popular in the Flint area. I love the service and the food. They have a good selection of healthy and perhaps some not so healthy foods. The atmosphere is a 1950s/60s diner. Great music playing too. Only drawback is the drive through food seems to sit around inside and gets cold. The last time I went through the drive through lane my Coney bun as soggy and did the sandwich was not warm. But I am a fan of going inside this place. You cannot go wrong with the wait staff and the atmosphere.
Went through the drive through and ordered dessert. We ordered a brownie sundae and a lava cake. Brownie was small and tasted like rubber. The lava cake tasted like a muffin and had no lava. Ice cream was put in to go styrofoam and they got chocolate and caramel all over the outside of it and didnt wipe it off. I got caramel and chocolate sauce all over us and my car. I will never visit their establishment again. Not worth the price. And looks as if they really dont care.
I absolutely love this place. The prices are decent, the staff is friendly, and not only is the food delicious, but the food portions are hefty. My favorite meals are anything on the breakfast menu, the salads, and especially their strawberry malts (Im lactose intolerant, but the malts are so sinfully delicious that its worth the rumbling stomach the next day).If you havent been to Mega, treat yourself and visit them asap.Maggie J.

I normally dont do 5 star reviews l, but I love this place! My favorite waitress, Juju or Juliette as our receipt said, is the best!! Shes accommodating, but laid back and doesnt hover. Juju and rest of the wait staff are the reason we keep coming back again and again. And again. I 100% reccomend you check them out.
The BOGO coney dogs are awesome!! It does take awhile but we usually call our order in ahead of time. Staff is always super friendly!!

Zero stars if i could. Worst customer service from the waitress who answered the phone, snappy and snide in tone. Used to be a great diner but now it seems there is a lack of professionalism and courtesy.
It was great we were very pleased with the service and how fast they are.
Chili cheese fries smell/taste like ramen noodles. As if y’all seasoned the chili/cheese with beef ramen flavoring. It took over 20 mins for our order to get taken via drive through. 25 more to get our food brought to our car. Food was “good enough”. Ate it because we spent the money and it wasn’t worth turning around for them to take another 40 mins. Def won’t be back.

Went there for the first time. Never again. Young server questioned my husband on him wanting cocktail sauce with his mushrooms he ordered but we never got. Place wasn’t busy at all and they messes up 3 orders while we were there. Food was ok but not worth 15.00 as they don’t do combos. Manager Sarah was rude when we complained. Not impressed.

My daughter and I stopped in to grab a couple of milkshakes. How can you make a chocolate milkshake that bad? They tasted like an ashtray had been emptied into the cup first. AWEFUL.

The food was horrible! Ordered a Farmers Omlette, has Hash browns in the middle. Egg was over cooked and hash browns were as hard as rocks. Totally a waste of money! I waited in line for 25 minutes to get this so called food! Would not recommend!

I frequent this place often and the service has went so far down hill the last few months that I won’t be returning. When I ask for my order with modifications or extras I fully expect my order to be accurately executed every time! Especially if I’m being reassured by the waitstaff that all my items are there... 🤦🏻♀️ I’m always super polite and tip well, but my order hasn’t been right in two months. Time to find a new late night dinner spot.

The food is delicious & prepared correctly. But beyond the food is the waitresss. Their friendly & fun which makes the atmosphere very comfortable. Im there about 3 times a week, at this point I consider them my friends. I also recommend the Chicken Kabob dinner.

When am I never not satisfied 🤔 and you can’t beat buy 1 get 1 coneys all the time!!! The best part is the 24hours because I love to get hungry in the middle of the night when everything else is closed.

And if its something you have to order extra why wouldnt you ask the customer if they wanted to add something that comes with it everywhere else? Its called an upcharge. Hello....? In this era of take out only in styrofoam boxes, this place was a good choice to grab a quick bite while out shopping. We had chicken strips and fries which were easy to eat while driving to our next stop. No mess. Not high-risk for distracted driving. Just a good tasting meal to feed an empty growling stomach. The food was better than the big chains of fast foods and comparably priced.
Juliette was an amazing waitress ! One in a million ! It’s really too bad today was her last day . She rocks and she will be greatly missed . Best of luck to our favorite waitress ! ♥️😊
It was horrible. The coney meat tasteless and watery, the french fries were under cooked. My friends coney had a chunk of ham in it.
Had the big breakfast it King with ham bacon sausage hash browns toast and eggs of your choice was ok I wont give out another places name but there is one out there for a dollar less you get pancakes also
I took my mother there for lunch this past Friday, as it had been before the covid thing started since we had had our monthly lunch “out”.Our waitress was great, I think her name was Rebecca, pretty dark haired girl. Anyway, there were two other girls there, and they continually just walked by the food that was put up to go out, ran out to have a smoke, and so on, and eventually there were probably seven or eight meals waiting for pickup. Our waitress was literally running, making shakes, waiting on customers, and at one point she actually tripped while running to get things done.Anyway, by the time we got them, the fries were cold, coneys meh, and I was really disappointed.*I sent them a message on Facebook, but they never read it.
