I ordered a sectional from this location several months. Was advised that it would take four to six weeks to deliver the merchandise. It ended up being six months. I never got a call to let me know the couch came in. But I received a email and a text stating that I had bill. I called the office to find what this noticed pertained too. Only to be told I had sections with them. I had to inform the young man that I never received the merchandise and could not remember what is was for? After visiting the store to take a look at the couch. They had the furniture set out. When I requested new merchandise??? Against I called Johnathan back the same Saturday 7/17/21 and advised I would still take the sectional. He scheduled me for this Friday at 3.00pm. I received a call today around 2.30 while the guy was standing on my porch stating that he was there to deliver the couch. I advised the young man I wasn’t expecting the delivery and was on my home. It may take me 30 minutes . The driver said they would wait ( which I did not believe or expect). But since he said out his mouth ok ty. Of course that was not true. They left. I called the store asked if they could deliver the furniture still. TAnother guy said it should not be a problem since they still have the merchandise on the truck, but he needed to check with the driver and call me back. He also said that the they only had three stops. They came to my place as mine was the greatest distance. I live on Frost that’s. about-15 minutes. I really liked the sectional and was looking forward to having it in my new home. I even asked if I had a way to pick it. Perhaps I could do that. Although that was a option….. My husband was right I should not have to pick up furniture. And it seems like once I said that. They made sure they would not attempt to do what was right. Where is the customer service? There was no apology from the person who answered the phone. Advised that I don’t want the couch because if that’s how you do service, I don’t need to pay my money to people who have such little regard for the customers. Especially waiting six months and never call.
Workers their are very friendly and pleasant.The workers are always concerned about your problems and will fix it without any trouble.Rent a center on North Lindbergh is the best location. I had the most pleasant experience with the workers there.If I needed anything else for any convenience to me, I would be glad to go back .For anyone that need any furniture and cant afford it and want a place to get furniture now and pay on it. I would recommend rent a center; especially at the rent a center at the North Lindbergh location.
My mother rented a couple of items from them and each time was treated as if she was going to flee the country before paying them off. She never stretched her payments out very long and they always seemed to give her a hard time when making payments. Her recent purchase was a refrigerator, which the delivery people acted as if they were too lazy to bring it in the house and scratched it. I recommend you to save your money and pay cash or at least avoid this location at all costs. They are extremely rude and unprofessional. I’m so glad we’ll no longer be using them anymore. Absolute TRASH!!!!
I would give this place and its workers no stars at all. The women hangs up the phone on you and claims they couldnt hear you. The lying men take your money, tells you what day your delivery is and then call you an hour before delivery to tell you your verification didnt go through. They do not tell you anything about you having to go through verification until they deny you, Id pick another location for sure.

I have done rent a center before but this location is way different when it comes to service. Big guy working there has zero phone skills and sucks at communicating things of importance to you. Delivery guy was pretty nice so that was good.
Very disrespectful, horrible customer service. Never return your phone calls or pick up the phone. Definitely will not be going back to this location
They lied, stated cant rent with out proof of where I live. Ive bought and rented many times from multiple rent a centers and never had this issue. My job is relocatable and I live where I work so there is no specific proof. So went to Walmart, got a better deal at a much much cheaper price. I had only live in area for maybe a month and hadnt acquired any bills to prove my residency. Its a buy here pay here place, my ID should have been suffice!

Very annoying.... will literally call your phone back to back 2 days before payment is due and after your payment is due. Very rude and pushy on the phone. I would advise u choose a different location if u want good service.

I dont recommend rent a center at all for the price they charge for used furniture you would get a better deal shopping else where, so sorry rent a center..
