I came on Monday 02/01/21 and the frond desk guy Jai Taylor said okay your appointment is set up for Wednesday 02/03/21 but if you come earlier we can serve you. I came on Wednesday 02/03/21 at 7:40 am and another front desk guy said we cant serve you cause Jai didnt create an appointment for you and we have a customer who has an appointment at 8:00 am. This is not serious guys and I will never recommend anybody to get service from them.👎👎👎

GREAT GROUP OF GUYS! My tire was hissing from a large puncture and loosing air fast! I barely made it to Dobbs only to realize they had just closed. I had small children with me at the time...and after brief consideration Jai and Marc offered to fix my flat then and there before they went home. They truly were my heroes of the evening! But not just that night, they stayed open late once before so I could pickup a flat repair. And they have even helped to fill my low tires because most gas station pumps cant fill to the pressure that my 12 passenger van needs. I will only buy tires from Dobbs now. Thank you!

Out to make quick buck and care not for you or your car. Spent a grand on tires and alignment. Did not check front suspension just aligned and shipped it. Needless to say tires wore out in 3 months. Wont cover poor job. Be warned never take your vehicle here they do bad work and wont back it up

If I could give Dobbs Auto on Howdershell 0 stars, I most definitely would. The service here is absolutely terrible and I will never come back. My vehicle has been sitting here for over 6 hours just to get my tire plugged. Mind you I couldn’t sit and wait due to me being a working citizen so decided to drop my vehicle off. Remember I said “get my tire plugged”. I return to pick up my vehicle and their service guy Jai tells me that I have 4 cars in front of me. Mind you there’s no one here, other than myself waiting on a vehicle and you can’t take 5 minutes to remove and plug my tire. I’ve been to other locations and never had to wait extremely long for a service that takes no more than 10 minutes to complete. Howdershell location needs to receive training from the Dunn location in Ferguson, MO because CUSTOMER SERVICE is what they LACK the most!!! Take care of your customers and they’ll definitely come back and bring more customers!

Had a flat tire they said it would be done the flowing morning I got there it wasnt done he repaired it as I was there and repaired it free for the wait...

This is the best Dobbs in North County! The service technicians are courteous, friendly, and sensitive to my needs. Called Dobbs last minute for an emissions test and they fit me right in first thing Saturday morning. I wasn’t sitting down five minutes when they drove my car to the back. I was in and out within 39 minutes. Going to this location, you won’t be disappointed. The customer service was great and had more than a few giggles at the guys jokes.

Went in for an oil change which went well but also ordered a steel wheel for rear driver side. The guy says the steel wheel will be in tomorrow but you have to pay for it today because they cant return it. So I paid for the steel wheel, oil change and labor. The next day had to be at work so I went up to dobbs about 8am just to get the news steel wheel is no there. So I wait and wait 11AM my car still hasnt moved and I have to be at work. I see cars come in after me getting checked in and out. 1130am I check to see where we at and they had no idea so I ask for my refund.

We have always had very good service here. Tonight I was surprised that an item was left unfinished on my repairs. There was a nail or something similar in my tire. It was noted on my paperwork but not mentioned to me when I was called and told my van was ready for pick up (brake repairs finished). Thank you so much to Mark for double checking this because it had not been fixed. I would have driven off with this thing still in my tire if he hadn’t checked it for me. He had his technicians fix it as I waited. I truly appreciate this kind of service and just overall kindness. I drive my children in this van and now I can drive them with confidence. Mr Mark (mgr) and Mr John are very experienced mechanics...as their crew. Theyve taken care of my car as if it were theirs. Theyre honest and allow me to hear all options. Remember to take any coupons or ask for any discounts. If your company honors Dobbs (discounts), let Mr Mark and Mr John know. They assist with savings. I trust them, my daughter takes her car to them....and I dont have to worry, if Im not there theyll take advantage of her or over charge her. Weve all been there. I appreciate the way they do business. Not every appointment is a happy one (alternator)...but they saved me were they could and I was extremely appreciative. This was one of the best service places I’ve been to. They quoted me accurately, gave the same price as the quote and answered a question unrelated to what I was having fixed. They were patient and even let me bring my dog in which is awesome because I being myself dog to work with me and I was on my way to work when my tire needed replaced. Very kind and honest. 10/10 recommend.

I had my first experience with Dobbs today and if I could give them more than 5 stars I would. I went in to get an emissions test as I had just moved from another state. My check engine light turned on when I got there. They were super nice and explaining what was going on with my car, what we needed to do to fix it, and what steps we need to take after that to get my emissions test. There were several things during this visit that really impressed me about this business. Being a woman I am often talked down to or taken advantage of when dealing with anything with my car. I am not super knowledgeable when it comes to fixing vehicles and I dread having to deal with any repairs to my car. Not once did the workers at Dobbs talk condescending to me or try to take advantage of me. They explained things in easy terms that I could understand and did their best to make it so I didn’t have to spend a lot of money and only do the necessary repairs. They provided a shuttle ride to my home even though it was a little further than they normally would do a shuttle ride for. I dealt with the service manager directly, and he was very good about calling me with updates, explaining exactly what needed to be done on my car, and breakdown of what the price was going to be. I was given an estimated time of when my vehicle will be ready for pick up, and it was done an hour ahead of schedule. When I picked up my vehicle Dobbs was wonderful about explaining the work that was done, what I needed to do to come back to have my emissions test done in a few days. Moving from another state, I was worried about finding an auto shop that I could trust to work on my vehicle. In the past I’ve always had family members to my vehicle repairs as I didn’t trust auto shops. I will be returning exclusively to Dobbs in the future for all my automotive needs.

I have been here many times. Air was leaking from tire. I was told that the wheel was corroded on inside that effected the seal,so I needed a new tire! His response when I questioned that was oh yeah youre right. Then told that tires wouldnt pass safety inspection. Car passed inspection the week prior. Sounds like a 💰 grab. No fool here.

These guys were amazing today. I needed tires, and I needed them quick. Devin knew I was in a hurry, so he and his team attacked my car at the same time. They mounted, balanced, and replaced two new tires in record time! A huge compliment to these guys for going above and beyond what is normal for a customer in need. And, the customer service was amazing. Every single employee I spoke with was extremely kind and helpful.

Be careful here! If your car is drivable, go get another opinion or ask them to actually show you on your own car, (not a model) what the issue is. This location tried to take me for several hundred dollars for two things on my car that didnt need to be replaced, on a four year old car.

My experience with John(a manager) was very sad. The dealership where I got my car less than a week ago asked me to take it to a nearby Dobbs to fix a leak. I mentioned on the drop off envelope I thought the leak was possibly related to my front power point not working. I included a note and a business card where the dealership should be contacted for payment. When John called me to pick up the car, I asked if he had called the dealership.He then told me he had not as he wouldnt be releasing the car without payment on property. I explained the situation he made it clear it was irrelevant to him, and although it was written clearly and I left a business card I got off the phone with him to call the car dealership to call him which resulted in them paying over the phone. Before I did that I asked at that point if the PowerPoint was repaired also. He said yes I specified where theres an SD card and two USBS and he said I dont have an SD card to check it with. I asked if he had a phone charger and he said one of his technicians have checked it. When I arrived at Dobbs I received my keys went to my vehicle to realize the PowerPoint was not operable. I returned inside to speak to John and he said his technicians item had worked. I let him know that now its not working for me. He said maybe my cord or charger wasnt working. I explain to him they are the only cord I ever used to charge my phone with, I had used it before I came up to pick up the car, and I know for a fact that it was in working order. I then had to ask him to accompany me to the car to prove to him essentially that I know that it was not working. I brought my SD card and it was not working in the PowerPoint. John grabbed a Snap-On light which he said the technician used to test my it; to plug into the USB. He then turned on the light and told me that the light would not work unless it was plugged in. Ive been plugged in my charger, he told me maybe it wasnt working. He uses the phrase it seems like you dont understand.I am not an expert on Snap-on tools, but I have never seen a portable light that does not need batteries or a charge. What is the point of having a light in a workshop that has to be plugged in to a USB cord at all times. He proceeded to indicate to the light as if for some reason I was unable to see that the light was on. After he unplugged the light from my USB, it stayed on. He walked off. After I had started the vehicle about 10 minutes of having a phone conversation with the car dealership when they instructed me to bring it back to Herculaneum(where I bought the car,from where I live in Florissant) to look at a more responsible auto shop When I was about to pull off another gentleman came to the car and asked me to pop the hood and had what looked to be a multimeter in his hands.I said No thank you and left. This was a little odd because they had the car for most of the day and had not checked the fuses? They also did not ask me if I had checked them but little did they know I had changed it the day before with brand new fuses. #27 in the engine box with a 20amp j case fuse. Odd that it was an after thought for them. I have about 2 minutes of this stressful argument with a MANAGEMENT team member that I believed to be working in my best interest; in an audio recording. He spoke to me as if I didnt know the basics about honestly, anything. He spoke to me as if how I felt at the end of this interaction was not his problem. Little did John know I had gotten this car because my own vehicle had been stolen out of my driveway, the day before mothers day then totaled being chased for an armed robbery. finally what I thought would be the end of all of this resulted in the car Ive had for 3 Days leaking on my feet. None of those things were Johns problem. Johns responsibility was to make me feel like a valued customer. He made me feel like the exact opposite, and Im sure Im not the only woman hes made feel this way. I could have gone to any shop around my area. But I thought that I could trust dobbs.

These guys are always helpful and listened to me as I explained what I was experiencing with my car. They didnt stop working on it until the issue was resolved, and they treated me with respect and kindness.

My wife took her car to Dobbs on Chesterfield Airport Road for a repair on a flat tire. She left her car there and within 15 minutes was called by Dobbs stating that her tire was not repairable and that they suggested to buy two tires or four tires for her car. The fact that they responded to her by phone in 15 minutes that the tire was not repairable seemed a little odd. She called me with this info and I told her to have the spare tire put on the car and to take the flat to the people where we purchased the tire. They were able to fix the flat. Dishonesty should not be tolerated. This guy was trying to take advantage of my wife. Shame on Dobbs.
