Jeff was very rude on phone.. I had great service previously here but never dealt with Jeff.. this was the first and will be the last time I deal with this location.. Quotes are one thing but when they are unprofessional about it and rude.. 1300$$ and my car was just running and drive there.. now Im told everything radiator and hoses need to be replaced.. I highly doubt..

Opened on time I had an appointment at 8 I was out of there by 830. Im happy. There was lots of people at the door so be there early ..

Please find another shop! I took my car up there for brake pads and the mechanic that moved my car from the parking spot to the garage drove my car with ZERO care and tore my bumper from the car!! Dave, the manager tried to blame this on my CAR! He quickly tried to snap it back on before I could get pictures of the damages and they took no accountability for my damages. After displaying much disappointment in the treatment of my car, only then did he have the mechanic try to repair the damages. I still submitted a claim to my insurance company. I absolutely dont trust that it was securely put back together. Needless to say they were NOT going to put brakes on my car after that! You could quite possibly leave with a completely different problem than the one you had before you went! Be careful of smiling faces! They get ZERO stars.

I had a very pleasant visit. Ive been coming to this Midas for 20 years and I will continue to do so. David was nice and kept us laughing since my car was taking longer than usual. He informed us that they were backed up and it would be a minute. I will miss Jim and Brian but I think David is doing a great job. I spoke to Jeff briefly and he was nice as well.

Brother runs the shop like a well oil machine with the manager and have the most friendliest staff. Would recommend.

My second time here, went in for an oil change...spoke with customers there that have been many times before, from me speaking with them they said they have only has good experience there...I believe word of mouth is better THAN any commercial they may have...I think Ive found the place for all my care needs😊

Brought in my girlfriends car for a simple oil change and was told it would only take a couple of hours and should be ready by 12:30 in the afternoon. I was never called that day, or the next, or even the next day. Instead I had to go in and pick it up and was never notified as to when the work was completed so I was out of a car for the whole weekend. On top of that I was met with rude service upon going in to pick up the car and my car was left at the very back and all of the doors were unlocked. The oil change was a great price but you are much better off paying more somewhere else to get it done in a timely manner

Service use to be great here. Since staffing has changed, its going downhill. They are always understaffed, have broken emission machines and equipment, and will take 5+ hours to do an oil change that only takes 15 minutes to do. Also, its always first come first served. Appointments are irrelevant to this company. Dont expect good communication or an apology for poor service. The staff only care about getting what they want done when they feel up to it. It shouldnt be this way.

Requested appointment online two days prior to the open date on website. Never received a call back or email. Called the shop the morning of the requested time and was told to bring in the car and leave it. Special was for the 17.76 oil change that was to include tire rotation. Car was there 6 hours before I had to call to find out when done. Fifteen minutes later get a call that the car is done. They tried to say that the tires were bald and offered cost to replace. The tires were NOT bald and they did not do the rotation. Mgr. acted like he wasnt aware of the 4th of July special. My issue is if you only want high cost repairs and the special offers are a nuisance tell your company to stop offering them.

I am a loyal customer of Midas and have never had any issues until just now. I dropped my car off on a Thursday after close and was told it would be a five hour job and would be ready Friday. I also asked if they were able to get the parts in that day and they said yes. Well here it is Tuesday and I still don’t have my vehicle back and no one has called me to inform me on what’s going on. I never had a issue when Jim was the manager at the west Florissant location. I am not happy.

They quoted me one price for all new tires then tried to charge me a higher price when I brought my vehicle in..they also told me a part on my car was loose but didnt bother to tighten it ( a 5 min job)..I later discovered they are the ones who left it loose on a previous appt when I had to get a new battery. They wont get any more of my $ or business

The manager here, Emery is very professional, pays attention to your problems without trying to sell you something you dont need.. I made an appointment and was served as soon as I arrived. My tires were ready and I was on my way shortly thereafter.

I have been coming here for almost a year or two and I refuse to go anywhere else. They are always helpful and friendly. In the past other mechanics have tried to get over but i highly recommend coming to this Midas. They tell exactly what you need done and youre not their for hours. They provide great service.

Had my car brought in to be diagnosed, I told them that I was told it was the timing chain. They checked my car out, told me it wasnt timing and told me what I needed. Their prices were too high imo so I had it towed to a different repair facility. I had the work done and my car still wasnt working. I told mechanic that Midas told me what was needed and he said hed double check it. Come to find out I needed a new motor!! I dont want to hear anything about they go through steps to diagnose problems because this mechanic checked my car out and saw it was my motor. Had Midas properly diagnosed my car I wouldve only had to pay $100 to my company but now Ive paid for tow fees, parts I didnt need and the labor for those parts to be put in and diagnostic fees, rental car and deductible. So all together Im out of almost $1000. I will NEVER take a car there again. I honestly feel Midas should give me back my $50 I paid for the diagnostic because they didnt diagnose my car correctly.Response to owner:I was charged for the assessment/diagnostic. I paid yall $50 for it and it was misdiagnosed. I also paid the other shop and my car was CORRECTLY diagnosed. I dont expect a mechanic to guess whats wrong with my car which is what yall did. No need to come up with excuses for yall mistake. Theres nothing for us to discuss because you all costed me unnecessary money and a s*** load of it at that.

This was my first time there. I was greeted very cordially, had coffee available and tv. My car was pulled in quickly. The mechanic came and explained everything to me in a way that I understood, and my car was pulled by the door for me to get in. The only draw back to me about the business is they need some type of exhaust system so customers like myself, wont smell cigarette smoke.

I had my car towed to the shop because I thought my transmission was out. With in a couple of hours they confirmed it was the transmission. They didnt even bother charging me for the diagnostic test since the car was a complete lost. Staff was very friendly. I recommend this particular Midas shop

This seems to be a good location. Didnt gouge me and offered to do extra small stuff they didnt charge for without me asking. Nearby competitors wanted twice as much and wanted to take all day.

Horrible customer service you would think they would try to build relationships with their customers but NOO they just want your money and overcharge you for it for example for a freaking purge valve that takes 5 minutes to install (cause my husband did it ) they wanted 141 for it it’s a 41 dollar part from autozone and takes 5 MINUTES to install I’m not ever going back unless it’s the Midas in Alton they know how to handle people

The service has been excellent each time Ive brought my vehicle in for maintenance.

About 2 months ago, I took my car in for repairs. Left the shop, and not even a week later still had issues. They wanted to charge me $100 just to inspect it again, after I already spent a pretty penny. Took it to a local dealership. The manager looked at my engine for free and cut right to the chase -- no run around like Midas. It still cost me to fix a minor issue but my car has been running fine ever since.My co-worker recently had a similar experience. I would give this store 1 star, but the guys at the counter showed at least a basic level of decency. They just didnt seem like they knew what they were doing.

Dangerous place to take your car. They did not tighten bolts on calipers and one of them was hanging in the wheel grinding the wheel. Bolt was completely out. On the other side the bolt was about to come out as well. They wanted us to wait hours to look at it so went to Midas in Hazelwood and they fixed it in 10 minutes but said it was very dangerous. Never go here. Jim at the front counter laughed when we told them the car was scrapping loudly after brake work 2 months ago. I hope this shows we get the last laugh.
