When the manager is busy pushing carts of inventory from the back to stock shelves in the store but stops what he’s doing to go back and bring you a 24 pack of Food Lion purified bottled water that was gone on the shelves. Lucky for me a truck had just come in. Thank you Eli for going the extra mile and having a pleasant and professional attitude. The staff at Food Lion on Timber Drive in Garner, NC are always helpful and deliver great customer service. Thank you!

Had a great experience today with my online shopping today. I once had been a frequent user of Food Lion to go but at another store, but I kept having trouble with my shoppers not being that attentive and lots of things out of stock. I decided to give it a try today at a new location for me on Timber drive and Im so glad I did. My shopper was Kameron and right from the start I got incredible service. Most of my items were available but Kameron worked to find substitutions for ones that were not. Also, my order was ready early and that was great. Kameron stayed in touch via text and honestly just made the whole experience great! I cant wait to use the service again soon.

They installed new self checkout registers within the past year making shopping more convenient and quick. I always come here for Primo 5gal water bottle exchanges and their Spring Mix organic salads. Prices are competitive with other nearby grocery stores. If youre looking for specialty items, you may not find it here. But they have all the staples for families on a budget.

Shop here frequently as its closest to my house however the employees are helpful and friendly

Went this morning got my groceries went to check out there was NOT ONE register was opened the only one opened was self check out ask the young man standing up front he said no there was no register opened i am sorry but when ypu have 6 employees standing around DOING nothing thats sorry service for what i pay for groceries and their salary you need to have registers opened never will go back

I accidentally left one of my bags of groceries at the check out.... I only noticed this when I got ready to cook dinner that evening, only then, because I had the children put the groceries away..... I called the food lion and told them my dilemma.... They were awesome. I sent my husband to get the missing groceries, meat and sauce. Food lion was so kind and understanding. It was easy. There were no firey hoops to jump through, no questions, just a simple answer, YES, that got dinner on the table to my hungry family.

Courteous employees. Clean store.For its relatively small size, they have a great selection. The deli is great, salads are always fresh. We shop here often, and appreciate not having to wait in line for long. Meat department is good. To date, Ive not found an expired product on the shelves in this store. If youre looking for wine, they have a great variety.

My husband and I had the pleasure of having a polite and professional young man named Ezariah (sp?) as our Cashier today at the Timber Drive Food Lion in Garner, NC! Great manners and speed but handled all of my items with care. Not one thing was dropped on a counter or thrown in the bag. He actually found s defect in an item that I had not noticed, showed it to me snd asked if I still wanted to purchase item or replace it. He was truly so refreshing as we had Cashiers who have complained to us the entire check out time about having to work. What did they think they were hired to do?! I relied our thoughts to the store Manager as well. Kudos to the Person who saw a great employee when they hired Ezariah and kudos to Ezariah!

Just left about 5 minutes ago and the guy who was doing the carts was extremely friendly! Came all the way out to get my cart and help me load my car! Im pregnant so I appreciated it more than he knew!He went above and beyond to clean each cart out when I got there, even for the 2 people in front of me!I didnt get a chance to catch his name, but I definitely think he deserves some recognition!The only physical distinction I can remember is that he was bald. Amazing employee! I hope the managers and owners know he is a keeper!

Food Lion is the place I usually get my International Creamery from, but they have been out lately when I go. I usually get International Delight Hazelnut and Irish Cream.

First time here at this store pricey,but I may go to pick up chicken or cheese.

Ok found what I was looking for but I do feel there are some tight spaces in there to move around if someone is standing in the way. Mostly in the veggie area and where fresh flowers are is where congestion strikes. That being, said their prices are great and love the star system to show how healthy an item is.

This by far has been the worst customer service experience! The customer service manager Will was flirting with my husband while I’m standing there. His comments Where inappropriate and very disrespectful. It’s was an uncomfortable situation to be in . My husband just laughed because he didn’t want to be rude or make a seen. We definitely won’t be going back.

Ive started going to this location more since its on my way home and has much better service in the deli than the food lion on Cleveland road. The only issue I have is that there are not a lot of lines open so lines get backed up near the aisles to where its hard to navigate when you are still trying to shop. Other then that I like this location. Aside from the long lines everything else is great.

Make sure you get a MVP card at the kiosk inside the door. Without it prices are not good. Prices are great if you do. Great selection of stuff you usually have to shop at many different stores for under one roof. I like to go early on Sunday when everyone is at Church.

This is a clean store, nice customer service. Shelves are well stocked. I cant walk much, every time I have called and ask if someone could bring a scooter to my car, they are always kind & helpful. I would highly recommend this store. Thank you to all of the employees.

I love Food Lion...Always has what I need, well stocked, clean, and friendly employees..But this location is lacking in many of those areas. They seem short on staff..Around 7pm there was only 2 checkouts open causing us to stand around while we needed to go, They are usually out of stock on a lot of essential items such as bread, Meats, ect. But the staff is always friendly and courteous. Overall pleasant experience.

For the most part, a great store. Just watch your receipt for differences in prices listed as opposed to what you are charged. Also the gentleman in the deli tends to get irritated when asked to stop slicing meat and help customers.

I went to Food Lion only to buy some fruit to take to two ladies at a rehap center. The prices were good. When I got to the register, the cashier was very pleasant with a smile. There was a young lady in front of me. So, when he finished ringing up her grocery, he grabbed my fruit. So I said no, thats my fruit. I thought he just thought they belonged to her. She said I want to pay for this please and she did. So, we hugged and I said thank you!

Busy store but its a lot better than the other Garner Food Lion. They have a very nice fresh food section and the isles are wide. Checkout isnt speedy but faster than Walmart and the other Food Lion.

Customer service representative saw the lines backing up and pulled me to the customer service desk to get me out quicker. Always a friendly store!

I think Food Lion runs more expensive than other chain grocery stores. However, this store was closest to where I was staying. The store was very clean, well stocked, and all of the employees were friendly and said hello, even in the aisles.

This is a great place for some quick shopping. They have a decent selection of meat in their butcher shop, but the beer selection is lacking compared to other stores. The bakery is along the same lines. However, it is nice to be able to swing in and get everything when I need it.

Well, is be lyin if I gave them 5-stars, but between high-priced (but good) Lowes and cut-rate (but decent) Aldi... Food Lion is your best bet.
