Great prices, great service, HOWEVER, rated 3 stars because the hours theyre open are not convenient for DC Metro employees during the week. The location is not close to the metro area and trying to get there during the week is a hassle when you need a part. The Sears employees working in the appliance section should be able to give you your part if you paid for it online and just need to pick up after hours. The employee working in appliances department was more than rude and unhelpful. Would have given it one star, but the gentleman the Parts Direct counter made up for the other employees lack of professionalism.
I cant speak for this specific location, but DO NOT order anything online from here. I ordered some microwave parts with priority shipping on Monday, estimated to arrive Thursday the same week. Once thursday arrived, the parts werent here, and the update on the site said that they would be shipped out in approximately 3 more days. I called, hoping this was an error, and after a 30 minute wait, got a support representative who could not give me any information regarding my order, but said he would research my issue and call me back within the next day. I never received said call, and called in again the following day, and this representative was able to tell me my order hadnt shipped, and would likely not ship until the following Monday, if all went according to plan with their vendor.Based on other reviews, this doesnt seem to be uncommon with this vendor, unfortunately - so I recommend steering clear!
Easy to order on line. Product was ready when I went to pick it up. Price was reasonable. Overall a very positive experience.
I order a part for my washing machine on August 28. The delivery date for the part was Friday August 31. The part was cheaper on amazon but Amazon delivery was September 4, so I paid the higher price to get the part by August 31. needless to say the part never showed up. When I called the service number I had a person who could not hardly understand me and I could hardly understand her. Basically her response was to bad the parts not going to get there to September 4. In short bad customer service, more money for the part that was suppose to show up earlier.
This is not about this specific location. This is for Sears Parts Direct in general, especially their customer service(cs) center. My issue was..I ordered a washer timer on Tuesday with priority delivery for Friday arrival. Checked on Wednesday online status and it appeared order was completed. So wondering, called CS center and a rep told me that the part will be delivered one day earlier. Of course not and checked the status on Friday morning, and now it says its backordered. Called CS again and a male rep. said immediately i will give you priority shipping cost refund, ok?! since getting the part was rather more important, when I asked for an estimate and why so much confusing misinformation, then the rep. said, you heard everything you need to hear about your order and tried to end the call. When I asked for a supervisor, he said, you cant talk to my supervisor because we dont have one. so i said, you dont have one? then he said, No! because people are waiting to speak to him! then he hung up. So called the ordering department, and a rep. told me to cancel the order and take my patronage else where, she even said there are tons if i google the part number, but she cant cancel the order because her computer only allows to take order??? So had to call CS again (btw, its all at least 45+ minutes of waiting time) then asked for a supervisor and the third rep refused consistently, and i insisted more consistently and after another 40 minutes of waiting, finally got the supervisor. She said, tell me about your order. so i explained what happened and unless i am given an estimate i am to cancel the order. then no responses from her, then she hurried back on the line and said, tell me about your order. For real?!!? are they serious?! so i asked her to cancel my order, then she said, i am not interested. then hung up. So i had to dispute the charge on my credit card. No wonder they are running out of business!
The people and the service were great. The part unfortunately was terrible. It broke while being installed.

Ordered a water filter for refrigerator. Receipt shows hours that are not correct for pickup. Ended up buying in store. Tried to get refund for online order and have called (4) different numbers that they keep giving and everyone says they cannot help. Have to dispute with bank.
On the 11th of August I brought a spray arm for my Kenmore Dishwasher. It was paid for with my Sears credit card for the amount that included shipping of $31.34. This part has NEVER arrived.Since that time the efficiency of the dishwasher has continued to deterioate so much that we have ordered another from you guys that will be delivered next Tuesday.(I hope) Please credit my card the amount of $31.34.As a credit card holder since 1965 and a long term confidient buyer ofSears appliances,apparel and auto products I am hoping this break in quality and service is an aberation.
