Myself and my family have been coming to both For Eyes and Dr Woelkhe for almost 13 years now. My latest trip was just this month and both the Dr and the woman on the desk were absolutely lovely! During my eye exam, Becca, on the For Eyes side, was actually picking frames for me to choose from once exam concluded. as was my husband. Becca is absolutely fantastic and totally gets what customer is/should be all about! Ultimately, I went with one of the frames that Becca picked. Serious service! All in all I left the store a very satisfied patient/customer!
Shannon is AMAZING!! She was as invested as I in making sure I found the perfect frames.Dr. Woehlke is polite and professional. The receptionist for the optometrist could use a refresher in customer service and congeniality but as a whole, the experience was very positive!!!I would recommend.
The actual eye doctor doesnt have the best bedside manner, even with kids but it was ok. The staff, though, is always friendly and helpful.
Really great customer service. They are following covid-19 precautions very well. The gentleman that fit in my glasses, Bill, was very professional and helpful.
I set an appointment for my daughter and I back in September. I already spoke to and went over co pays or any fees to be expected and was told more than once that i wouldn’t have a co pay at all. the day of my appointment I was charged $75. The lady at the front desk caught a very bad and obvious attitude with me once I told her I couldn’t cover the fee until later on and she said she couldn’t give me my prescription until I paid, even though my insurance covered it. She stopped making copies of my paperwork immediately and began slamming my files around and stopped answering any of my questions afterwards. I didn’t even know whether I was dismissed or what it was I needed to do next because she intentionally ignored me. So I left before I expressed how I felt about her unprofessional behavior. I called the very next day to see if I can pick up my daughter’s prescription only to learn that she hadn’t been seen while we was there and she went FIRST. I told them how rude the lady was and they didn’t believe me at all, they even transferred me to talk to her and things got pretty heated once she said she did remember me in a very nasty way, so long story short, I got banned. Then they sent my prescription in the mail afterwards, but they wouldn’t give it to me during my appointment. Would NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL‼️
I just called to order contacts and was told my prescription expired so I had to make an appointment. I was transferred to make an appointment and was told they were scheduling out to August and I need my contact, but they won’t order because of the expired prescription. She said well there is nothing I can do.I can not even believe that was the response. Then she said well do you want to schedule. She didn’t even try to work with me like offering a month supply of contact or anything till I could get an appointment. I have been going here for 15years and after this experience will not go back.
I love 4 👀. I have been bring my children here for a while. I do ❤️ the staff here. They are patient and helpful. I will continue to come here....
Awful office staff. Nasty manager. Don’t take your business here because they don’t appreciate their customers. My family has been going here for years....never again due to the way the office “manager” talks to her patrons. These women are rude and dysfunctional and try to blame everything on their office “being closed for 2 months.” News flash: the whole state closed for 2 months, people still need contacts and glasses. Get it together. Completely unprofessional and have no regards for others. Both women in the office definitely don’t belong anywhere near the medical field.
@NFI am sorry we were not able to get you in sooner than you needed. It has been very hectic coming back after being closed for 2.5 months due to the shutdown. I am also sorry that we were not able to supply you with contact lenses until we were able to get you in. Your prescription was just not expired, it was over a year expired. Legally, we are not allowed to give you trial lenses on a prescription that is expired. I am sorry again, but if you had a problem with the contacts, we would have been responsible.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The Dr. was nice too. I took my children there and they were great with them. Got their glasses pretty quickly. I got 2 pairs for my daughter and there was an issue with one of her lens being wrong. I took them back and they took care of instantly. Sent them back out and we got them fixed. They were very courteous and friendly. I like that I was addressed by name when I went there as well. Would recommend to anyone. Matter of fact Im going back to get my glasses and exam from them.
Would give 0 stars if I could. The eye dr. was slamming things around during the exam and when my mother told him she wasn’t sure which one looked better and literally screamed in her face for not knowing which screen looked better. The ladies at the front desk are SO rude and think they are better than everyone else! Disgusting place.
Over all had a horrible experience here.I have called and left so many voice mails trying to set an appointment up for an eye exam. Finally I got through and was able to speak to someone who was able to schedule me.While there the doctor was able to see me quickly. Unfortunately, he was horrible. I felt confused, rushed, and felt as though his attitude was inappropriate. He was completely rude. He would ask me a question and when I would answer he would say “well you told me something completely different a minute ago, which is it” in a very cold tone.My eye classes are absolutely way to strong, and I felt completely rushed. Will never go back, and will never recommend them.
This is a family run business and its apparent they genuinely care about their patients. While they are busy, they get you in and out and make sure the exam is thorough and the contacts you purchase are good quality. Highly recommend.
I was seen on time. Dr. Woehlke was friendly and gave me a thorough eye exam. He explained my vision issues and helped me to decide on the best glasses for my needs. The staff was excellent. Helpful and patient - not pushy. She was familiar with my insurance and answered my questions. Prices were reasonable and there were plenty of styles and price ranges to choose from. All-in-all, a very pleasant experience. I would highly recommend them.
Ladie at the front desk is so rude, no respect when she talks to the customers.
Dr Woehlke is gives a great eye exam. I highly recommend him. His office staff is also helpful, friendly and knowledgeable.
I would not recommend getting an eye exam at this location. The doctor was snarky and very rude to me and my husband during both of our eye exams. The rest of the staff is nice and pretty helpful. If you’re going here strictly purchase glasses, then this is not a bad place to go. But, if you’re going for an eye exam then you definitely want to keep looking.
What has happened to great customer service? At For Eyes in Glen Burnie Employees are clueless. Have been going here for years to order my glasses but I will be going elsewhere. Dr Woelke is great but employees to order glasses are the pits. Gave 1 star or else I can not post.
My overall experience was really unsatisfying, 3 stars is pushing it. The doctor on duty at the time was inpatient and short tempered, rude and obviously was having a bad day, however he did his job accurately. The secretary was rude and impersonal, but the csr reps were very nice and helpful, got my glasses quick which was convenient. With the exception of the customer service reps this place needs an overhaul.
Best deal & service in contacts and glasses. I got both and I paid less than I was expected. Good customer services, they treat you well and they dont sell expensive stuff that you dont need like in other places. They got me as a customer.
They have good service and the have respect for there patient
I have been going to Dr. Woehlke for years. He is very nice, knowledgeable and to the point. Highly recommend, and the staff are friendly and helpful when trying out new frames.
My experience is excellence, my son and I received a very nice and friendly assistance. I recommend it.
I don’t recommend this place.
Terrible customer service from the bald white guy that works here. Would grade lower but they got my glasses back to me quick - Melvin Gardner
I love foreyes great place nice funny helpful stuff
In response to Ashwini Pradham:When you made your appointment we asked that you arrive 10 minutes early to fill out paperwork and have your pretesting done. You were 10 minutes late for you appointment and by the time you were done with the paperwork and were pretested, you were in to the next patients appointment time. I explained to you, on the phone, and in person, that we would fit you back in to the schedule, but if the next patients were here early or on time, that we would take them first. I explained to you and your mother, that it was not fair to make them wait when they were on time. If you needed to reschedule, because you were going to be late for work, all you had to do was ask. I would have been happy to take care of that for you.As to your last comment on your post, I was nothing but courteous and professional to you and your mother. As a minority myself, and someone who has been a target of prejudice, I take great offense to what you have accused me of. That never happened, and never would in this office.Nancy Woehlke
Im new to For Eyes Opticals & Me & My Daughter was greeted & treated very nicely as soon as we entered & The Optometrist was very professional & took his time with examining our eyes & explained to us everything we need to know & I had Super Great assistance from Phil in 2017 & Mr. Rich this year 2018 & idk about anybody else but Our experience was Great they were such nice guys when it came time to picking out some nice frames that we actually liked & making sure we got what We wanted, they catered to Us!! & made sure we was very happy & satisfied! & Overall I had a great experience at For Eyes Opticals & I appreciate all theyve done...Thank You & Yesss I would recommend them!!!🤓👍🏽👓😉
I have been going to ForEyes since I moved to Baltimore in 1980. The Optometrist at ForEyes noticed that I had risk factors for glaucoma so she sent me to a glaucoma specialist. Five years later, after having the laser procedure, my levels have not increased and my sight has not decreased. I am thankful and blessed that this was caught early. My grandmother was not as fortunate and lived her later years in darkness. Thank you For Eyes!!!!
Phil was very helpful and just a genuine nice guy. Helped me pick out the perfect frames.
My appt was at 11am, i was running a bit late so i called and let the lady know i was running a late, got there at 11:07am, filled out the new pt form and wait. The other pt arrives for his 11:20 appt, they take him in first, i am like ok may be they will call me next, and nope !! They take the other pt whose appt was at 11:30. I waited 50 minutes for being 7 minutes late, i just cancelled my appt and left with out seeing the doctor. They should have told me just rescheduled the damn appointment but no, the lady was racist !!!!
My experience was great as far as the doctor goes. my only complaint is that when I set my appt up over the phone I was under the impression my insurance covered everything. the girl never told me to bring $75 with me to pay for a contact lens exam (she asked me if I was coming in for glasses or contacts so she knew thats what I wanted when I made the appt). I was frustrated because after my exam the woman at the desk says I owe $75. I looked at her funny and said my insurance covers my eye exam she said the contact lens exam is not covered and she said the girl who made my appt over the phone was supposed to inform me of that, which she did not do. so I had no money on me to pay which meant I couldnt even get my prescription released from them til payment was made. I had to wait a week for that plus got misinformed again when I was told my contacts were covered under my insurance as well but then was charged $26 for one box. mind you, I needed different boxes for each eye. so needless to say I wasnt very happy with the customer service there. the doctor giving me the exam was the only good part of my experience. oh and might I add the girl who gave me my lenses when I came to get them, didnt even put the saline solution in the bag that I was supposed to get so I had to come all the way back to pick it up the next day. definitely switching to a different optical place next time Im due for a visit.
I went there for the first time with my mom she had an appointment, the doctor helped the first patient he was very friendly with her after she left they called my mom I went in with her as soon as we walked in to his office he started his bad mood being rude unprofessional for no reason, he got really rude and unpatient out of no where that’s when I knew he was the racist type I’m hispan/Latina and we do not deserve to be treated like trash we are all human and we all deserve to be treated the same I do not recommend this clinic at all my rate is a -0
The place is clean and staff friendly except the DR, who was rude short tempered and mumbled when he spoke which ruined the experience for me . Dr woehlke sucks !
The doctors office is double booking patients and they are to return for a second visit just to get an eye exam done. (with an appointment)
Poor customer service. Nothing but run around and promises to return calls that never come. Will be reporting to BBB
Great place,great price,very nice people.
Terrible horrible service.
Sucks
