I recently (Sep 2021) walked into Jason’s Music Center on an exploratory visit in my quest to buy an acoustic piano that would facilitate musical power for me and guests in my home, and a digital piano that would facilitate creativity with technology for the next generation in today’s musical world. Steve Cohen met me at the door, then patiently listened and helped guide me through a 3-visit process of deciding what would best meet my goals. My pianos were delivered yesterday by a careful and personable crew. I am now thoroughly enjoying the sound and feel of this rich, brilliant and powerful Baldwin (even before the first tuning!), and delighting in the fun possibilities of jamming and arranging and creating with younger players and the Kawai digital piano. This place is bad I do not rexomend for any. I got a sax for $1,200 and I wanted to get is fixed I went to the band Shoppe (great place by the way) and he said that 90%for the flas were from mainifactoring and so this place is a bad place an and my son was mad when he heard this he has been playing the sax for four years now and he thought it is his fault that the sax is sounding bad please do not do to this place it will surely scam you.

Came in looking to get reacquainted with a piano during quarantine. Steve recommended various options, taking into account my budget. I ended up purchasing a digital piano -- something I never thought Id do! It was a very enjoyable shopping experience. We’ve been renting instruments for our kids for the last 3 years and have had the absolute best customer service - from switching to different size violins, minor repairs and switching from strings to woodwind, they are always a joy to work with.When the COVID shut down happened, we were uncertain about how we’d handle the $60 monthly rental fee for 2 instruments - especially since the kids weren’t getting lessons in school. When I called to find out what they were doing, Jason’s Music extended 6 months of free rentals - for everyone. Giving all of those children access to their instruments during such a difficult time for any small business is a gift I will never forget. This company is truly and inspiration when it comes to being reliable and supportive of their community here in Anne Arundel County and they have our business for life.

Bought a Kawai Novus10 this past week, and it is incredible! I was in the market for a piano that would feel and sound like the grand piano that I learned on, but I needed to fit into my small city apartment. Steve was very knowledgeable and super helpful regarding the selection of pianos (acoustic, digital, and hybrid) and how each mechanism worked. Steve was a total pleasure to work with in the purchase of our new Kawai grand piano! We had been searching since the summer exploring both the used and new market for a Kawai trying to marry our budget with our needs and desires. Once we decided on a piano, Steve was able to make the magic happen so we could bring it home! This included trading in our baby grand. As our piano wasn’t in stock, Steve went out of his way to locate one for us. There was a wait for the next shipment and the process of customs, but it was so worth it! It has a beautiful, rich, mellow sound! We are looking forward to the decades that this piano will be used! Today alone, it’s been used almost nonstop since it’s arrival! The music center was a little hard to find. I didnt see any signs outside. We went to the music center to rent a instrument for my daughter. The process was super easy and fast. Everyone was so nice and knowledgeable. Very happy we picked Jasons.

Just bought a piano from them today! My parents had been shopping around for a digital hybrid piano for weeks, and wed visited just about every single piano dealer around Maryland. Tom was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, and even taught us a lot about the history and specific characteristics of digital piano sampling and build. Gave absolutely no pressure, but after he showed us the pianos and gave us his take on them, we were sold! In short, this is one of the friendliest and most knowledgeable dealers in the area, with great prices to boot! When I started playing the clarinet in the fourth grade, my mom took me to Jason’s to buy my first one. We bought all of our accessories there as well. I named her Pepper.Fast foreword 22 years. My son found Pepper in the closet and decided he wanted to play the clarinet too and so, I took him to Jason’s. Everyone in there is so sweet and knowledgeable and they care so much about their clients. The location may have changed but our experience is the same. Such friendly and wonderful service! We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon to get my sons viola for school. We were in and out in under 15 minutes and they were so helpful and nice! We even got a special Cub Scout discount. These guys are the best if you need anything music related!!

The selection of pianos is very wide ranging at this store. Having played for several years in school, I was coming in to look at buying a piano. Steve was excellent at helping me with this task. He showed me several different style of pianos and all within my price range! He was very informed about the individual pianos and answered any question I had. Although I did not walk out with a piano today, I can see buying a piano from Jasons Music Center in my future.

Excellent experience from initial inquiry to final delivery. Buying a piano can be a difficult process. I went to Jasons Music Center with a few piano options in mind. The staff was highly knowledgeable, very patient, and super responsive. They walked me through each of my options, and they introduced a few new ones too. It was a total of three visits over a few weeks time. The end result, I felt comfortable and confident with my purchase. I purchased the Kawai Novus NV 10. This instrument is outstanding. Have you ever met someone and instantly knew they were about to become a huge part of your family? Tom Bonvegna responded to an online inquiry I had about a Baby Grand piano that I wanted to surprise my husband with while he was deployed. My husband had played for years and since this was our first home purchase, I really wanted to make that happen. Tom, a Vietnam Vet and hero, reached out to me, heard my story and desire, and made it his goal to help us get a beautiful piano delivered. Our budget was ridiculously tight, and Tom made it happen. I researched everywhere, from estate sales, other online marketplace forums, about 15 different piano stores (some local, some not). After all of the research I had done (not knowing much about pianos beforehand), I learned that unless you REALLY know your stuff, you needed to go through a reputable company. If a piano wasnt tuned for the duration of its life, it could look pretty, but it wouldnt be very functional. I almost made a deal with another company that I would have regretted... and then Tom called and from that moment, I had an absolute peace about working with him. He was not a salesman, but a true gentleman.Tom went the extra mile by a lot!!! There was one piano we thought would work, and it was even bigger than my original plan. After Tom looked at the pictures of my home (and staircase), we decided to wait for another piano to become available. There was a little bit of time that went by where I didnt think we were going to find it, and then... the call came. Tom found the most beautiful Yamaha, ebony, baby grand that plays incredibly! My husband was completely surprised and has loved at (1) having a baby grand piano delivered in his home without him there, (2) that I stayed within my designated muahahaha budget, and (3) that we found such an incredible person to work with.The piano delivery service was also excellent! Such care, such professionalism, and physical strength too. Like most folks, once I was ready to buy, I wasnt sure what piano to get. Its a sometimes-dizzying world out there, and while there are useful resources, like the Acoustic and Digital Piano Buyer guide, you really want a knowledgable professional to help you make your final decision. After all, its a big investment. And I do mean investment. My purchase at Jasons Music Center has paid me and my family back many fold. Certainly, the biggest benefit has been the joy of listening to the rich warmth of the sounds of our grand piano as our children learned to play, but also (and not unimportantly) the increase in its value over time. The multi-generational family of piano specialists at Jasons have become part of our family, too, and I know youll love them if you give them a try. And have you seen their new showroom? Amazing!
