We’ve leased or purchased 3 Volvos from Glen Cove Volvo since 2017. They have been an absolute pleasure. They actually delivered our last two vehicles to our home. We never visited the showroom. There’s no car salesmen BS here. They’re straight forward and all about service and repeat customers. Craig, a sales professional and internet specialist, is exceptional. We swapped 50+ emails about specifications, before looping in their finance specialist, Deron who was equally accommodating and professional. Never a missed reply, never any pressure, just nonstop professionalism. Their delivery specialist, Samantha, was a pleasure and Craig actually allowed them to use his own vehicle as the chase car to bring Samantha back. We don’t even live in Nassau anymore and we still buy from them. What else needs to be said.

Shopping at Glen Cove Volvo was the best car buying experience I’ve ever had, I do not normally write reviews but if I could give more stars I would! I went to the dealership just to look and met Jonathan, who was very knowledgeable about the cars and did not pressure us. I was impressed with the safety of the car and the look. When they delivered the car to our house he went over all the features in the car and even made sure that my phone and garage door opener was connected. My husband and I have our own personalized settings for everything! I’ve had cars with wonderful features before but I really didn’t know how to use them. I’m not very tech savvy so having a resource like Jonathan who I can call when I don’t remember how to use the self parking is wonderful! It’s a lot more than just a dealership, it’s like having a car partner. I absolutely love my car!

If there was a way to give 10 stars Volvo cars glen cove deserve it! They were efficient with bringing a test drive car that was similar to a car that we were looking at. They were knowledgeable about the different packages and vehicles we could chose from. They did not pressure us into making a deal right on the spot. That was the most comforting out of it all. When I came to Volvo Glenn cove, I was nervous and apprehensive as this was my first independent car purchase. My main concern was being taken advantage of being that I am young. I would avoid this dealership. I made a “VIP appointment” to test drive a certified pre owned car that I was assured was in stock. I asked the saleswoman to double confirm because it involved me leaving work early and traveling an hour. Upon arrival, I was told that the woman I spoke with is a remote dispatcher, even though she assured me I’d be working directly with her. Then a salesperson appeared to inform me that the car is being serviced and I can’t see it, encouraging me to instead look at a brand new 2021 model (this already had bait and switch written all over it). When I insisted on doing a test drive, having changed my whole schedule for this appointment, another salesperson appeared to inform me that the car already sold. When I reminded him of the phone operator’s assurance that the car was available, only 2 hours earlier, he did not apologize, shrugged his shoulders and said “the car is sold, what do you want from me?” I’ve dealt with some sleazy dealerships before, but Volvo Glen Cove takes the cake. I’m giving them one star because Google doesn’t allow zero, and because they have a cute bulldog. I wish I could have just done business with him. Inventory constraints have nothing to do with dishonest sales tactics and cold customer service. Stay away

Craig just proved that phase be reconcilable.i highly recommend Craig @Glen Cove Volvo to any1 who would consider buying a car. august, 2021, we are in the middle of a great shortage of almost everything thanks to a rapid economic recovery from a lockdown and pandemics. its a sellers market, so they said. car sales are one of them. inventory is running low everywhere. we happened to be in this sellers market for a new SUV. as one of the important purchases, i have done extensive research and finalizing in a Volvo and sent out several email to dealers around tri-state. One of those reply, standing out from the others, was from Craig. though his email was short, it was answering ALL my questions without any beating around the bush. pricing was accurate. inventory status was clear and transparent. i made that right from the start no phone calls! (aka no bs!) Craig: NO PROBLEMS! i followed his link in his email to take a closer look at the vehicle and a few more round, we decided to take that one. so, the entire process was online. 2pm on the day my wife and i scheduled to arrive at Glen Cove Volvo to pick up a well prepared new car, last mins she felt that she would need a bigger model (90, instead of 60). Craig again: NO PROBLEMS!! 5pm, we drove away our be-loved new Volvo and wife is very happy!!! btw - some more not-so-small details, if you ever dealt with other car sales pople (i know I did) ... 1). he respected our privacy and never made cold and radom calles, yet, ALWAYS answered my email questions within a day even on the weekends. 2). have you ever had to put up with and wasted time with other sales on those great figures that THEY care, but you dont (in particular your wife does NOT care?). Not Craig. He told us what we wanted to know and what we cared, no more no less. The experience is just like  ... hmm ... buying things from Amazon (in case you enjoy buying things from amazon?)Craig definitely deserves a five-star and we enjoyed this entire purchase experience!

I had a great first time leasing experience at Glen Cove Volvo. Jonathan is very professional and super helpful. Not only did he help us select the right car for our family, he also helped me resolve issues 6 months after leasing. My car was scratched in my work parking lot and Jonathan managed to get rid of the scratch marks without any cost or trouble. When we needed to come in for rim repair, everyone was very accommodating and made the entire process super pleasant. We got the dented rims replaced, had a loaner car to use while service was being done and everything was all covered under tire and rim plan, not cost to us at all 👍

Never felt so compelled to write a comment before.My neglect by Glen Cove Volvos management was so egregious that Volvo USA sent me a check for one months lease payment as compensation for my inconvenience.Leased a 2021 S60 in April of this year; car delivered was not exactly car as discussed with salesperson. I spoke to Kristen, the sales manager,in person she said she would speak to general manage and get back to me asap. Never heard from her. I left two messages to no avail. I finally wrote to Volvo USA in N.J..Three times, over the span of 6 weeks, Volvo USA requested that she contact me-she never responded.The problem has been neither addressed nor resolved by Glen Cove Volvo.Hassel Volvo was great, once it was sold to the Dibre group customer service is of no import, units moved is their only motive.

I live in the area and am in the market for a new car. I was looking to lease something a little bigger and is able to handle the snow that we get up here in New York during the Wintertime. Salesperson Sammy immediately had me test driving an XC90 T5 and let me tell you, this car is AMAZING!! It has all the bells and whistles one could ask for. The heated steering wheel and seats were so cozy on that cold snowy day, and the handling was spectacular. It cut up the snow like warm butter. But what amazed me the most was the power in that 4-cylinder engine. I was blown away by the horsepower that this car has.............and the 4-cylinder engine will definitely save me on gas compared to the 8-cylinder engine I currently drive. Sammy, thank you for opening up my eyes to this gem of a car. I will definitely be back very soon to complete a purchase.

Horrible, Horrible, Horrible. Called because my iPhone jack was acting up and my on call button was not working. 1st question the service advisor asked, was did you get the car with us? Once I told him no, he just shut down. He told me I should change the iPhone cable and see if that works. Well dont you think I trie that before calling the service center.When I asked about a loaner, if I had to leave the car at dealership, that was another NO, b/c I didnt get the car from the glen cove. And I said, so it doesnt matter that I my car is under warranty, its a 2020 XC60. They just wont even entertain or talk to you as a Volvo owner if you didnt get the car from their dealership. I thought VOLVO was better than this!LATER** in response to owners poor customer service. That is not the case, I have been to Volvo of queen and Manhattan, when I didnt get my 2020 Volvo XC60 from them and have always gotten loaner vehicles. This seems to be a Volvo of Glen Cove issue.

I truly don’t ever leave reviews but felt that it was absolutely necessary after my experience at Glen Cove Volvo. I’ve walked out of many car dealerships and have been completely turned off with the car buying/leasing experience in the past, but I felt welcomed and comfortable from the moment I entered GCV (particularly by their adorable “shop dog” Tua). Their salestaff were competent and upfront, and Deron in finance was a pleasure to work with explaining everything in layman’s terms while securing me additional protection for my vehicle. If in the market for a new car, you have to stop here. I’ve already referred my friends and family and look forward to working with them again in the future.

Semi was awesome. He was not pushy and could see we were unsure With what we wanted so he took the time to give us options. Showing us a larger truck on the used lot and the X 40 which we initially went for. He then spent time working the numbers to get us where we wanted to be after deciding on the X 40. I had trouble a weeks in with my truck and reached out to Semi, he had Jonathan get right back to me and worked with me to correct the problem without even having to bring it in to service. I had an appointment at 8:30am to do state inspection, oil change and a recall. I dont have loaner car because it always not available. The next available date is in mid March when I booked this visit by end Jan, so make appointment early if you need it. Waiting area is in their showroom and kind of crowded after they open the showroom at 9am. Not that many seats around but it does has water machine, coffee machine and some light bakery provided in the morning. Its definitely not the best dealship service I been visited but not bad at all. They also didnt try to sell me those winter package, 20 million point check up package which I hate dealer doing that. People there are very nice and professional. I will recommend coming here rather than Great neck. Total wait time 2 hours and include a free car wash.

We recently bought a car from Glen Cove Volvo and I wanted to share our experience. I had barely started explaining to the sales person Semi, what I wanted in a used car. He understood exactly because he quickly looked at what is available and got me exactly what I was looking for! I ended up buying my dream car immediately. His quick understanding of what our needs were, our budget, his inventory and general knowledge of the market made it a pleasure to work with him. I just leased a new XC90 from Glen Cove Volvo and have to say that the experience was simply great. I called the dealership by phone and spoke to Nick LoCascio. I told him that I was very close to leasing through another dealership, that I was interested in one of their vehicles I found on their website, and that because I live far enough away from their dealership (and because of Covid precautions), I prefer to discuss by phone. I discussed my current offers with him, and he got back to me within minutes with a better offer. He was extremely responsive and on top of everything, which made me want to lease through him despite the other offers from closer dealerships. He is an extremely nice guy, and was pleasant throughout the entire process. And, more importantly, there was no nonsense discussions whatsoever. Straight to the point. And, every other person that I dealt with, from the financing person to the person sitting in the car with me explaining all of the electronics in the car, were extremely nice. And, to top it off, they have an amazing bulldog in the showroom. Simply great service and a great experience.I highly recommend Nick and Glen Cove Volvo!!!

We have acquired about the new XC90 and were shut down by the sales manager. He was extremely condescending and basically told us we will not be able to afford this car. We got the car for price we were looking for in Volvo of queens and receiving an amazing service. Glen cove was disgusting.

I had just leased a car last week from Glencove Volvo. It was an extremely pleasant experience.I can not say enough about my salesman Sami Pajovic. He was so kind and hones. I knew immediately I was in the best hands. He is not pushy and just wanted to make sure I was comfortable with the lease. Also a shout out to the tech department Steve and Samantha. They were so patient and took their time explaining how everything worked.

By far the worst experience ever. I realized after speaking with Carl the “general manager” it started from the top. Would never deal with them again and escalating this issue further

Brought my 2019 XC40 for the maintenance service last week, check-in was prompt, was told ~1.5hrs of wait but it ended up over 2hrs—not too bad since their lounge area was nice and clean, and people were able to keep physical distance. The thing is, just 7 days after the service, after only two light drivings (20miles), I noticed a possible leakage of the engine oil, now I have to find time to bring my vehicle back to them again :-(

The customer service is superb. Jason was so easy to deal with and made it a point to take care of all the items I went in for and more!!!

I got a Turn Indicator System malfunction right before labor day and had to get it fixed as this is the only car i have for travelling during the holiday. I called Glen Cove Volvo in early Saturday morning. Jason Barach answered my call and said they were all booked up but he would try his best to get my car fixed the same day. He took all the symptoms that my cars had and quickly put the car into servicing. During the time, he was able to update me with the status. My car got fixed in two hours, much earlier than i expected. Jason was very kind, friendly, and professional. Im so happy that he is working there and will definitely come to him for my next service.

The nicest and friendliest people. Even on the initial call to set up appointment they were so nice. I had tried to call a Volvo service that was closer to where I live. I could not reach their service department. No one answered. I got transferred to the showroom and left three messages at different times. Still have not gotten any call back. Volvo Glen Cove answered right away, I showed up a little late to appointment and was greeted with a friendly smile. Great experience. Courteous and professional.

Just recently bought a used Hyundai that was a trade in. Sadly I was lied to about some things that I notified them about and they claimed they were not problems. But, they are and now I have to pay money out of my own pocket to fix them. I will definitely never return or even think of buying a Volvo from these people.

Ive never did this before, but I bought a volvo on line from Volvo of Glen Cove. I live in Florida. My sales rep. Jonathan Goldman handeled verything. When I arrived in New York . With a Florida plate on the car. He delivered the car to me in Westhampton, answered all my questions. I highly recommend this dealership.

Our sales representative, Jason was great. So was the entire team including the financing team. This was our first lease, and we were definitely interested but we didnt know that we could close a deal on the same day. Despite the fact we werent exactly prepared for everything, Jason and the entire team helped us with patience (we were the last customer that day). Needless to say, we are so far satisfied with the XC90 T6.

Dishonest scammers. Will waste your time. Don’t bother going to this dealership. They are by far the worst. Better off going to Stamford Volvo. They were beyond helpful and gave better pricing. Glen cove makes up crazy numbers that don’t make sense, they lie about inventory and if they don’t like you, they won’t work with you. I came in with a quote from another dealership since they didn’t have the car in stock, they said no to me and tried to upsell me. Went to Stamford and got a XC40 with more packages and cheaper in less than a hour.

Visited this dealership on Labor Day - As a motivated buyer I was extremely dissatisfied by the service. As an informed consumer I was frustrated by the back and forth between the sales person and his manager. This type of service is outdated and serves no purpose to the consumer. Getting to the numbers was even a bigger deal everything was generalized even after agreeing to do credit application and down-payment.This was all compounded with issues regarding staff challenges, working on a holiday and finally being told I would need to return after completion of credit app.

I bought a certified 2018 Volvo S90 I had the car for 3000 miles took it in for service. I was told I needed new break pads and they told me the car was hit from behind and I needed new sensors total Bill was over 900 bucks. So what is the point of certification if this is happening and I needed new wipers. So where is the certification. I truly feel robbed.

We bought a certified pre owned XC90 with a few thousand miles left on warranty last year. Due to Covid, we have not really been driving the vehicle that much, maybe 6,000 miles in the year weve owned it. 2 months ago, it required ALL NEW breaks, and recently we found some water in the trunk and started having electronic issues - We brought the vehicle into Volvo and they are telling me its a 4K repair AT LEAST. I find this ridiculous when buying a certified pre owned vehicle that still had miles left on the warranty. Right after we pass warranty, we run into thousands of dollars of issues. If buying from here, make sure you get a third party to test the vehicle...this car has 52K miles on it and requires that much work is completely unacceptable. We bought the vehicle for our growing family and in these times, this is very hard to stomach. Im extremely disappointed.

We’ve spent the last couple of weeks looking for a replacement vehicle for our existing Volvo sedan. We love the Volvo brand, and their reputation for safety so we visited the Glen Cove Volvo dealership. From the moment we met him, Jason Friedman has been absolutely outgoing, patient, and helpful - a true sales professional in every way. He showed us a couple of S90 sedans in our budget, and let us test drive them all to get a feel for how each one drives. He also patiently explained all of the individual features and what they do (we were blown away - these cars can practically drive and park themselves). We told him that we were also looking at another brand before making a decision, and we werent ready to decide on anything just yet. Jason didn’t make us feel pressured to buy anything. He gave us his card to call him with any questions.Even though we originally went in for a sedan, we decided a SUV would better fit our needs.  In explaining this to Jason the next day, he told us he had a SUV that he was confident would fit our criteria and he was right.  It was love at first sight!!!  Jason had listened to what we wanted and matched us perfectly with our XC90 SUV.  We came in for a test drive and again he was patient, and friendly, without pushing us in one direction or another. The price was great, and Jason really went out of his way to help us make a decision. Honestly, we were so impressed with the way Jason and the rest of the staff/managers that took care of us, that we picked a great vehicle from the ones at the Glen Cove dealership in large part because of Jason and for his exceptional treatment of us.Anyone considering a Volvo should absolutely go see Jason Friedman at the Glen Cove Volvo dealership.  He will be sure to go above and beyond, as he did with us.

Use another dealership--I really felt like this place was trying to scam me.I knew exactly what car I was looking for, so I looked at their inventory online, found the vehicle I wanted and called them. They gave me a very good quote on a lease. I confirmed that the quote applied to the exact car I wanted because it was a higher end model and they assured me that it did, but that I had to come in in person IN A PANDEMIC to close the deal. I tried to push back because other dealerships were happy to negotiate over the phone, but they wouldnt budge and the deal was better that other quotes I got over the phone, so I went.I made it out to the dealership in person and was horrified when several employees werent wearing masks properly or at all. They also then told me that the quote they gave me over the phone didnt apply, that they no longer had the car I wanted in stock (fair enough, it had been 3 days), and that the lease on the car I wanted would be about ~$150 more per month.The really frustrating part of this was that it all could have been done over the phone if they had more educated sales people answering calls. It was both shady and negligent of them.

Called in on a used vehicle for sale July 20 2020. I offered a deposit right away to Jason, the sales rep. I told Jason that I didn’t want to lose the car and would be happy to pay the FULL asking price. I also emphasized that once upon a time another dealership sold a vehicle out under me so that’s what I wanted to proceed with a deposit to hold the vehicle. Jason assured me that the vehicle was mine and I had nothing to worry about and a deposit was not necessary at that time. He told me that they had 5 other customers that called in on same car that day as well. He told me me would call me back in a few minutes but never did. I called him and he did not answer. He texted me back saying sorry that they had sold the vehicle days before. Dishonest, misleading and incoherent to say the very least. DO NOT TRUST THIS DEALERSHIP.

The worst experience we ever had at a dealership. We used their website to build a quote and they came in about $200/month above that.The sales rep, with the online quote in hand, flat out lied about the money down, the miles included and other details. He literally contradicted what was written and denied that the paper said what it said. Unbelievable.On top of that it these stores are under strict COVID guidelines that are ignored. Staff walked around without masks. Others had them under their chin while talking to people. Our rep repeatedly removed his mask and got i. Our face while trying to convince us they would not honor the quote generated on their websiteWhat more can I say? Hopefully the Department of Consumer Affairs and Department of Health shuts them down.
