I just called them at 11:30 AM on Thursday because I had a spring break the night before. They had somebody at my house replacing the springs, tuning up the door and checking it to make sure it operates perfectly...within an hour! He was done and gone by 1:00PM! Was impressed w his sub-contracted employees but as for the owner ( FLOYD RICKLANE), it went down hill when he purposedly hit me with a vehicle! NO JOKE! He also says he does the work himself & his brother Marcus (see his ad!) When infact its actually contracted out & Marcus is not his brother. Also, u all might want to run the contractors number he provides. It doesnt have anything 2 do w him or his company!

Repairman showed up a bit late than the time given, but had called and communicated, so no big deal. What was a big deal was catching him drinking a beer in his car while he was ‘taking a break.’

This week your installer Tony replaced our ancient wooden garage door with a new lightweight metal one powered by a belt-driven Liftmaster opener. He worked all afternoon in 100+ degree heat and did a superb job, cleaning up everything like he lived here and spending time instructing us on the operation. We couldnt be happier with the results. Good man doing good work!

Cheap price with a promise of life time warranty. However you must have a lube and tune every two years by him. This is all fine however he did not leave his sticker on my garage door so when I had my door lubed and tuned I called the first person that came up on google. Now when my springs broke 3 years later he says my warranty is void because he was not the one to lube and tune the springs. If this was said politely I might be ok and understanding however he was rude and condescending during our phone conversation so he has lost my future business. Make sure you read the fine print.

The office scheduled a same day estimate for repairs. Brandon called me right on time to inform me that the job sounded serious and he had decided to come help me on his day off. He was able to start immediately upon arrival...in his street clothes no less... and had the full repair completed and garage door running again in a few hours. Very friendly, very knowledgeable and very helpful. Price was also more than fair. I have Brandon in my cell phone and will never call anyone else for garage door repairs or questions. We had contacted the company two days ago after our current opener would not work properly. They sent a repairman out, but were unable to fix the problem, so we elected to have a new unit installed. Brandon came today to install the new unit, but was able to track down the problem with our current opener. He could have just gone ahead and installed the pricey new opener, but instead chose to do the right thing and get our existing opener working properly. Great, honest company. A different garage door company had convinced me that I needed a new opener and springs and had given me a price that seemed way too high, so I called Affordable Garage Door for their estimate. Affordable Garage Door gave me a much better price, so we agreed on a time for them to come out the next day. Robert came out on time to replace what the other company had told me needed to be replaced, but when Robert checked out my door he said everything was actually in good shape. He said hed install the new stuff if I wanted it, but it wasnt necessary. I decided to wait, and they didnt charge me for the visit. Rick has been keeping my old garage door in good working order for several years, so when we decided to add sun screens to our windows he was our first choice. Of course we were not disappointed! Shelly came out to measure and do the estimate... on a Saturday, no less! She was on time, friendly, polite and knowledgeable. I called Affordable Garage Door and made an appointment for my day off, and they were right on time Upon arrival, the technician looked at the garage door and stated that I also needed to replace the rollers. He stated that the door would be quieter; but it’s still the same sound. I was taken by the tech as a sales person. He did a great job, but I did not need the rollers. Be careful when a tech says you need to replace but you don’t. I fell for this. Price was great but the added roller was not needed. Would have given a 5 star but the sales tactic dropped you to a 3.

Our service tech was Anthony. Kind of confused why his company shirt said S.O.S and he had us make the check out to SOS, but He did a great job fixing our garage door issues. He showed up on time, the first time. Then He had to leave to go get parts at his warehouse, which is about 15 minutes from us. After 2 hours go by, he called and said he would be here in 10 minutes, but almost 45 minutes passed before he showed up. Since he did such a great job, and didnt charge us more than he quoted, and his office had great customer service, the overall experience was good and I gave them a 5 star rating.

My garage door started malfunctioning at 1:30pm today. I gave this company a call at 1:55pm with the hopes of being able to schedule an appointment for tomorrow. They told me someone could actually be out today between 3 and 5pm. Great! Brandon was here by 3pm and immediately got to work fixing the broken spring. He was very thorough and explained everything to us as he went. The best part, we were only charged exactly what was quoted to us. We asked about making the garage door quieter and he gave us a quick explanation and rough estimate of the cost for that. But he never tried to upsell us and was very professional. Thank you Brandon!I also wanted to make some comments about other reviews I saw.1) They offer a cash discount when paying. So if you are paying with card it will be a little more. But this was told to us when we placed the call and also when we were paying so it was not a surprise.2) Yes there is a warranty on the parts and yes you need to read the warranty policies on the receipt. Main takeaways: It needs to get a lube-n-tuned annually for $50 to maintain the warranty. This is reasonable! No other companies can work on the equipment or it voids the warranty. Again this is reasonable!

Great experience! After moving into my house, there was no remote, and the unit was probably an original from 84 - so it was the old dip-switch setup. I called on a Wednesday afternoon and they were very flexible with my schedule and came the following Friday afternoon. Justin was polite and very knowledgeable, able to determine what would be involved just by eyeballing the setup. He quoted me an hour and a half but was done in an hour. Major props to him for driving all the way out to my place on a Friday late afternoon through rush-hour. Price quoted was exactly the price charged. My garage door broke in the middle of the night, just before the holidays, while I was out of town on a business trip. I wound up having to do the entire process by phone, long distance, so my apprehension was quite high that I would have a super big bill right before Christmas. Happily, that was not the case with Affordable. We had some communication challenges due to the long-distance nature of the repair, but when I got back home, I had a beautiful new garage door and opener (at a very good price) for Christmas. Tim G was fantastic this morning. We called another company and they simply recommended a new door, which I did not want. Instead of brushing off my questions regarding the repairs, he explained exactly what he expected to do as well as what could possibly happen once he started working on the door. (He gave me a low quote and a high quote depending on how the door responded.) He was able to fix our garage door without having to replace too many materials. I was able to get a same day appointment on a Sunday and my garage door was fixed in 30 minutes. I called Affordable Garage Door at 2:25pm and the tech (Zach) arrived at 2:59pm. Plus they charged me A LOT less for a broken torsion spring than another quote I received. They saved me at least $100 and offer a lifetime warranty on the new springs

I had a broken spring. Called them at 8AM; they scheduled me for 2-4pm; he arrived at 2:15pm and was finished at 2:45pm. I paid slightly extra for stronger springs they recommended because my door was old and heavier than normal. Total cost $152. Highly recommended.

My garage door crashed at around 6pm and left us vulnerable for the nighttime since it was stuck halfway down. Affordable was very courteous-gave me a truthful worst case scenario and came out within a couple hours at 8:00pm. The last call I made was to Affordable Garage Door, and they were more than willing to help, they couldnt make it on Saturday, but setup an appointment on Sunday morning. The tech came within the stated time. He had the door fixed within an hour, at a very reasonable price. I will definitely call them again if I have anymore garage door issues.

I never write reviews, I read them. But I did have to write this one because I am so happy with a job well done. It was Tim G. who came out, and was able to repair our garage door (and no upselling!) He could have charged a lot more than he did. He salvaged the panel without replacing it...very impressive. Extremely affordable for me. Wow.

Very happy with their service. I called another company first that had a sticker on the back of the garage door. They quoted me $400 to replace two springs. I inquired about a coupon and they brought it down to $340. I made the appointment but felt like the price sounded very high. I went on yelp and called two companies that had good ratings but nobody answered (about 8pm at night). Affordable Garage Door was my third call and Randy answered right away. The price was much better and he scheduled an 8-10am appt the next day, so I cancelled the other company. David came out the next day. It turns out I have a very heavy door so the price was about $30 higher than quoted due to needing larger springs, but that was fine with me. The total price came to $180 which was about half of what I was going to pay with the other company. After a couple of days I realized the opener was struggling a bit so I called and David came back out the next day to make adjustments. He ended up putting in an even larger spring (the door is VERY heavy). There was no charge for the second visit and everything is working great now. I would not hesitate to use them again! I think there are some sketchy door companies out there, but these guys seem honest and reliable.

We were up at 5 am to start our very busy day. Imagine our frustration when our garage door wouldnt open; our very busy day just came to a screeching halt. If we cant get the car out of the garage... After a few minutes of research on google, I found Affordable Garage Door and Opener Repair. Since it was before 6 am, I anticipated leaving a voice mail and waiting for a call back. I was pleasantly surprised when Rick answered the phone. After a short conversation I was informed someone would be out between 8 and 10 am TODAY!! Maybe we can salvage our day afterall. Tim arrived at 7:56 am. He was polite and professional and efficient. The door was repaired by 8:45, and we were once again free to roam. Thank you for giving us our day back.

As a property owner of over 30+ properties, I try to send my business to companies that are consistently good and dependable. I thought I had found that company with Save on Services.In the past, I had always dealt with Markus and he was always professional and worked with any issues or challenges that came up with my renters, and I ended up spending thousands of dollars with this company . Recently however, I scheduled a simple repair at one of my homes, but this time I dealt with a person ( whom I found out later that was his brother) who not only botched the arrival time that was told to me ( 10-11 AM) but also the phone number of the renter and the address which was also confirmed 2X. When I called back at 1 PM to ask what was the delay as my renter was upset as she took time off of work for the repair, I was met with such unprofessional, childish attitude it was unbelievable . Even after he admitted that he made a mistake on both the phone number and address his response was Well, if you dont like to wait, go find someone else to fix it. and then proceeded to hang up the phone. even though I was taken aback by his rather brach attitude, I did call back and was able to get Markus on the phone .This time and after a few calls Markus was able to get someone out to my property at 6 PM that night. Then I find out directly from my renter that they discussed things with them that was totally inappropriate and Finally, when is it ever acceptable for a repair person to discuss issues /costs with a renter and NOT the owner who requested the repair and is paying the bill? I would say NEVER.. The salesman/repair guy tried to upset me on a new garage door even though it was replaced new 3 years ago. Even my renter was offended as it was a blatant upset As customers we promote businesses that provide a good product and a good price and good customer service, In this case Save on Services was an epic failure and I would look for another more professional vendor. Suggestion to Markus...either teach your brother some customer service skills or keep him off the phone.

The owner of this place is rude and advertises ROC numbers that dont belong to him. Customer service is seriously lacking at this place. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this business there are so many better more reputable places.

We had just sold our home in Peoria, AZ and in the midst of packing and moving everything out to be taken out of state. Wouldnt you know--two days before closing the old garage door opener starts giving us fits! We desperately called around to find a company that could come quickly and repair the problem before we turned over the house. Affordable Garage Door came the very next day and replaced the opener quickly. The technician was friendly and very helpful--gave us options to replace the mother board only (which wouldnt connect to the mounted openers on the outside and inside of the house or replacing completely and leaving us with an intact system. That is what we did and we could leave our house to the buyers in good conscious. Thanks for bailing us out in a stressful period!

Tim arrived within 2 hours of my call to report that my garage door wouldn’t open. The spring was broken and Tim “sprang” into action and replaced it. Problem solved within 2 1/2 hours after I called it in! Superb service! Thanks for a job well done!
