MUGS did the bar service for my wedding and they were absolutely awesome! From the beginning Melissa is easy to communicate with and always answers questions in a timely manner. The whole process has been made super simple.The knowledge that goes into making a quote with what is needed and how much was amazing. We had more than enough beer, liquor, and wine for our reception, I was actually surprised there were any leftovers. MUGS truly cares about your event and wants it to be as stress free as possible.One of the things I was most impressed with is how they let you keep anything that was opened or used during the event and refund anything that wasnt used. This makes things so much easier decision wise plus the bartenders pack everything up for you at the end. I definitely recommend MUGS to anyone wanting amazing prices, easy communication, and an overall stress free event.

I will never recommend MUGS to a single person.The venue I used for my wedding required us to use them. I started trying to reach out to mugs in October of 2020, so I could get everything set up and start paying off the bill. However after numerous attempts, I got nothing. It wasn’t until two months prior to the wedding that I finally was able to go talk to someone and get services.The day of the wedding, the bartenders were drinking on the job, playing on their phones and sitting around most of the day. They took most of the opened alcohol that we were supposed to take with us, and then charged us for it anyway. They left two hours early without telling anyone, and the only reason I knew they were packing up and leaving was because as I went to do the one and only picture I wanted from that day, their truck and trailer got backed up and parked right into the shot, ruining those pictures.We are now a month out from the event, and we are just getting our “refund” check back from them. However, they charged us on the invoice for things we did not have or use.They have been far from amazing, not keeping their word, and all out unprofessional. It is almost impossible to have a conversation with them about any and everything we have tried to communicate with them.

Just celebrated our wedding. Mugs did a phenomenal job with the bar tending in the drinks. Very professional on time and very Polite. Would recommend them hands-down. Thank you for making our day just that much better.

Our bartenders were fabulous for our wedding! So kind and considerate, always offering water to the bride and encouraging smiles all throughout. They even did a round of aiding and picking up from the tables. If you need someone for your wedding party we definitely recommend them!!

Had very poor communication the whole time, gave us the wrong refund back. The bartenders left a hour and a half early when brought to attention got our messages ignored over it than “refunded” us for champagne and Flute rental ( the one we said over and over we didn’t want)This was our first time going through them (we had to because of our venue) and we will not be back and on top of all of it the bartenders left without asking to leave early or saying anything to us.We kept asking about our refund and got told they are busy with new parties but didn’t make people who already went through them a priority.Overall very disappointed

Had an issue with a keg rental and the owners went above and beyond to take care of it! I will definitely be using them in the future or all my party needs!! Love that they stand behind the quality of what they sell!!

This store has it all. Well except the stuff that I just bought, because I bought it all.Excellent selection, friendly staff. I will stop here any time.

If you are located in an area where Mugs is available to serve with their bartenders, you are crazy not to pick them. So easy to work with and by far the best prices you will find. Highly recommend!!

Melissa & Doug at MUGS were attentive and flexible though our entire wedding planning process. Our wedding was in Muskegon and they made it easy to work with them from Grand Haven. They know about good beer and bourbon, and also understand we have a budget to work within. They are the most FAIR business I’ve seen for alcohol sales and catering. They put in special orders for wine for us to make sure we were happy. The staff they sent to our wedding were extremely responsible, cleanly, professional, and cordial at our event. Couldn’t recommend them more! Cheers!🥂

I highly recommend that you do not utilize Mugs if you want your big day to be stress free. I am very displeased by the way we were taken advantage of. I can promise this is a credible and very reasonable review. I have saved all communication since day one, and I have all original invoices without any document alterations. Our final conversation was over the phone however, as I had many questions that needed to be answered and email would not have been feasible.See my Facebook post if you want more information.

Excellent off-site bar service, and incredible customer service! Office staff was incredibly responsive and helpful while we made our choices. The bartenders on our big day were professional, courteous, and seamlessly handled a crowd of 300+. Would recommend to anyone !

Nothing but good things to say about Mugs! They handled our bar at our wedding this past weekend and we were so happy with their service! The bartenders were efficient, kind, and memorable! They kept tabs on our guest, noticing who was getting what drink and basically having it ready for them at all times! The also were able to keep the line down aside from the first rush when the bar opened! I would recommend Mugs Party Store to anyone looking for a bar service at an event!

I just used mugs for my wedding on September 17, 2017 . They were priced much cheaper then competitors in the area. At some times it would take awhile to hear back from Theresa, but at the end she stayed in good contact . The servers showed up on time and were very nice. Id definitely recommend them .

Came in for a mix that that was running out fast, I was quickly showed where I could find it and what my best options were. So friendly and kind! Ill be back in for sure!

The bartenders are very professional, helpful and awesome - we used them for a wedding and absolutely loved them - the owners were also awesome to deal with before the venue took place - very professional and made sure you knew everything you needed well prior to the day of the wedding - I would definitely recommend them!!!

We just used Mugs at our sons wedding this weekend and they were awesome!! We had the wedding and reception at The Gathering LLC, in Allegan, MI and was told that we had to use Bars By Butch for the bar service. After comparing prices, Mugs beat their price by $1,300!!! On the Bars By Butch site it said they would meet or beat any itemized quote but when we presented it to the not only did they not even come close but he was very angry saying that his prices were low enough. After refusing to use their bar service eventually The Gathering allowed us to use Mugs. Like I said they were $1,300 cheaper and extremely professional!! They kept things moving, everyone was carded and jet under control. Theresa at Mugs was such a joy to work with!!! She made this whole nightmare with Bars By Butch so much easier!!! I would not hesitate to recommend Mugs for any event!!!!
