Crazy good prices on parts for rc trucks and airplanes, way better than I could find anywhere online. The guys who own the store are very knowledgeable and helpful. This is the only place I’m going to go for RC parts from now on.

Lack of knowledge, cut corners, poor quality, this are a few words that describe my experience in this bike shop. Adding pictures of the disc brakes before and after, they add something on the discs for me no to notice that the disc still have friction.

Came in looking for help with an old remote control boat from the 80s I knew nothing about. Within moments I had everything I needed to get it back on the water. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, very honest about what I was working with, will definitely visit again!

Called to ask about rc airplane release from horizon hobby. The guy didnt even know what I was talking about. Like really??? Will never shop or call there again

They have an exceptional verity of just about everything 4 the hobby enthusiast, one of the few places left in the northern IL area. I was a grade school kid when hobby shops were plentiful, unfortunately the kids of 2day r hooked on video games, that have a life span of about 3 months avg. 2bad, I still have my train sets from the early-mid 1960s, a life long hobby, that video games can not even complete with. 2days kids r missing so much, what a shame.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!! Rich and Charlie won me over years ago and it is the only hobby shop I buy parts from. I own multiple rc vehicles and they have always been able to guide me with any questions I have or any parts needed for repairs. Huge parts selection. Staff is super friendly and always smiling. Cant thank these guys enough for keeping all my trucks rolling. Charlie has repaired multiple vehicles for me and Rich has always helped me with advise when it came to upgrades. Very knowledgeable and very friendly. Thanks again guys!!!

This is a very good Hobby shop and a small bike shop! his web site BLOWS and does him NO justice!!! HOBBY GUYS WILL LOVE IT ! I didnt even know they had that much RC stuff! actually they have ALOT and offer advice / help !!!!!! not that guys like me want service help but is also offered for you maroon!! the hours are 12 -7 but he runs late a lot!

Extremely helpful and respectful to me even though I have no knowledge of RC vehicles. Rich answered all my questions and gave me the best suggestions on what to do.

AMAZING!- I love this hobby shop! everything is fairy priced and they have a boatload of RCs and parts Mainly Traxxas. From what I can see they also have a wide selection of model trains HO and O scale bikes and slot cars. they will also help you out with your r/c. The only time they closed earlier than the hours posted on me was once and it was 10 below zero. other than that their hours are pretty good. great hobby shop!

Good store, but they do not always follow their hours. We went there on Thursday at 5:00 pm and they were closed which is not what their hours say.

I called and asked if the person on the phone was a manager..his response was (rudely) yes, what do you need? I asked if they were hiring..he then replied, oh! No we are not taking applications and immediately hung up.what a dick! First AND last time Ill ever make contact with that store. Ill never buy from them EVER!!

Very disappointing. Tried to exchange a receiver i had bought, not knowing a 2 channel cant adjust a gyro. Apprently I was missing a piece of internal cardboard in the packaging and he wasnt able to take it back or help.when I dared pry as it was a Christmas gift... He turned into a real jerk. I had intended to spend more than I was exchanging, but will never go back again, very rude..

Stressful, condescending, every time I went here for questions,/ concerns over all and even to purchase items for my road bike, he was selling his wares with force. He hasnt tested any of his new items as far as maintenance goes. Over all Id advise anyone with plans to have repairs done to go elsewhere. This place is not the ideal bike shop for family riders

Ive bought a few bikes and now an RC car here. Recent bike had bike computer put on with crappy twist ties that both broke first day. Ugh.Went back to get an RC car part today, Monday, stores hours say until 7:00pm but was locked dark and empty at 6:27pm. Bummer. Maybe call first...
