We were interested in a particular vehicle and the dealer gave us the option of placing a 500.00 hold on the vehicle. We took the vehicle for a test drive and scheduled to return that week with a potential trade in vehicle for evaluation. They called and informed us that another party was interested in the vehicle and that we would have to purchase it now without the trade in appraisal. I asked for an immediate refund of the hold payment and will not do further business with express.cars. Beware of the request for hold payments. Very unprofessional or maybe for the used car world quite professional.While I appreciate your response we did verify before we left with your staff that the car would be held until after our scheduled return and you reneged on your word. When you apologize please take responsibility for your actions.I will add one more point. Your staff did not say here is your 500 back after the test drive. You hung onto it until you contacted me Wednesday to leverage me into making a decision before the trade in evaluation on Thursday. It might be helpful for your organization to simply admit mistakes rather then discuss communication issues. Both I and the staff communicated our intents and you should have honored and supported the understanding whether or not you now regret that it did not fit your rules.

Very displeased, my gf just bought a car from there a few weeks ago and the lady that sold us the car misinformed us about all the policy coverage and said we had a worrenty but we dont. Then says that they dont refund anything when she basically lied about what the coverages covers. Not only that but refuses to submit the refund papper work when the coverage company told us they have to.

My husband recently bought a car here in the last few months. On the second day the starter went out and my husband asked them to check the brakes along with checking the battery/starter because we were having issues with the brakes. After getting the van checked out we didn’t notice any issues for a while. Then the brakes started acting funny again so we pulled the tire off. Turns out whoever checked our car last FORGOT to put the caliper bolts that go into the slide pins on the right back of the van. The caliper was grinding against the inside of the tire rim.This is DANGEROUS. We drive our INFANT and 4 year old around in this van. Whoever checked this car out did not do their job.I have pictures to prove the mistake.

They take care of you at Express Cars Bergstrom, and treat you like family. They took every single one of my concerns to heart and made sure I was satisfied.
