The University Avenue Market is a great place to shop, I go there all the time and I live by it😀

One of my new go to stores for Grocery shopping. There is a large variety of everything and so many too good to pass up deals! Id say its a more affordable version of Festival with the same items just better prices.

My favorite grocery store! Their produce is always fresh, way better than Festivals. Great variety, awesome meats and friendly staff. Clean, bright, well organized, I get my shopping done quickly & have never bought something that turns out to be out of date or rotten inside like Festival. So glad they are still going strong, will always shop here.

University Market is convenient; just a mile from my apartment. Everyone who works there is friendly and helpful and courteous, so I enjoy going there. They all seem to be fairly happy to be there, theyre relaxed, cheerful and they all have a sense of humor that makes them fun to talk to.

Love shopping here. The meat department is miles above any other in the city.

Loved this place until they start shutting off the lights in the laundromat 25 minutes before closing, leaving me to finish my laundry in the dark. I will no longer be doing laundry here. The market itself, I have no problems with.

Nice store, has a variety of items, clean, friendly employees

This market is near my inlaws so we stop in multiple times throughout our stay for odds and ends. We always bring a cooler so we can bring home some cuts of meat that arent as common in our area.

One stop shop! American, Mexican and some Asian products.. this place will always be known as Lindys..

I gave them one start because I need to write my review but I gave them 0 starts. On Saturday October 3, 2020, around 5:30pm I went to the deli to deliver some food and I was buying something for the Deli but was close. The lady was cleaning and she was explaining me that they close that day earlier. For no reason the Manager came and told me that I need to leave the store. I ask him why I needed to leave the store and he said because I was distracted her. But, he didnt ask me what I needed or what I was looking, No, he told me that I needed to leave. What kind of client service is this?? I was a client in that moment that I want something for the Deli but was close and she was explaining to me. I told the manager that was not the right way to do a client services and I ask for the phone number for his Superior or his boss but he refused to give the number. I ask for this information for the cashier that was in front of desk and she said that he was the manager. Nobody want to give some other information that help me to put my complaint. I live around the neighborhood for almost 10 years. I always like go to this supermarket to buy meet and deli food. But now for this that happen to me I am not to sponsor this supermarket anymore and I am going to talk about my experience in my social media and not recommend this supermarket.

I almost gave them a 4 just because their entrances and general store maintenance (ie: flooring, tiles, etc.) could use some upkeep and/or updating but, I honestly save so much money in their meat department alone - that they deserve the full 5. Seriously, the quality of meat is comparable to Festivals but its almost a full $1 cheaper per pound on some items. Mix in their weekly deals and BOOM! its super easy to cook on a budget.Admittedly, I do go to Festival still for milk, cereal, and some other random items - for how close they are, its worth the drive if you have time.

The lady in the deli department is always rude. She stuck her whole glove in nasty water she had the tongues and cooper sitting in for the mashed potatoes. Seriously thinking about informing the health department. She also kept the same gloves on as she prepared everyones food. Gross!!!!

Great store and good selection of stuff

Today I witnessed something that shouldnt happen to an employee in customer service as I have worked in customer service myself. I watched as the owner, his name is Paul (saw the name tag) yell at an employee if front of customers for, turns out, a funny mask that she had been wearing. It was referencing the grinch movie. He could of simply asked her to remove it and put on a new one instead of yelling at her the way he did. Disrespectful and rude not only for the employee but customer experience as well. I will no longer be shopping here.

People are nice easy to find what your looking for. They have their own meat shop and bakery excellent.

Best meat in town. And I dont have to walk far in the store to get everything I want. same with parking not far to walk.

Picked up some fresh ground beef for tacos and our tacos turned out delicious. Always the best quality meat and grocery selection. Clean and quiet. Go here if you hate seeing tons of people.

A well established locally owned store.. the owner is polite and respectful, as are the employees. Offers a wide selection of items with regular sales advertised in local papers. Items in the deli are all prepared fresh, and will often take custom orders when you want it a specific way. Overall a wonderful place.

Price are. Higher than many stores around the area, but i like their meat selection.

I’ll be taking my business to any grocery store that doesn’t require masks for medical reasons, such as super Ron’s, Aldis, Walmart, Woodmans to name a few -basically any store besides this one . They asked for the medical reason which is covered by hippa laws and also said wearing a mask is a law which it is not a law, so hopefully they educate themselves about this subject for future customers and be respectful .

The employees were nice but they have the most expensive price gouging ive ever seen! Better off going to a gad station.

This is a good sized store with a wide variety of choices ! Above each aisle is a sign hung that lists the goods available.I appreciate the Deli area that has some great choices including pickled beets, my fav. Take a look, see something you have a hankering for !Near there also is Baked Goods including many different types of rolls. Picked up some Kaisers ... Yes, there s sweet rolls too, my special day I got mini sized Rosebuds ! Hey, I m not going botanical on you, they are Cinnamon Rolls... no frosting, cinnamon n brown sugar.Go past that area, you ll find a Flower Shoppe.It is complete with plants, fresh choices, card to go with and a gift area as also !The staff is friendly and helpful !Make a stop and I m sure you put University Market on you shopping list !

Lindys has always been a top rated store in my opinion. Ive been in Green Bay for 17 years now and have never been disappointed. The prices are cost affective. The specials and deals with the meats cant be beat. The deli selections are awesome. The store is very clean and the employees are friendly and professional. I love the place

Meat prices are insanely good! Ground Beef Chuck always way cheaper than new competitor. A lot of staff is bilingual and always friendly. Great store!! Really care about the customers!! :)

I was worried about how long this store would be able to last when I found out they were building a Festival down the road.Glad to see they are making it. The store is old, you can tell that when you walk inside. But the staff is friendly, the bakery is really top notch, and has a really good, unique product inventory that can be hard to find in other stores.

I always appreciate smaller stores and when they compete with bigger stores prices may be slightly higher. I have never had a issue here with customer service have always been helpful. Its a older store yes but its clean. I would have given five stars but disappointed with the responses or the lack of response from owners. Paul your quick to defend a bad review but fail to thank the shopper who support and give you good reviews.

Its convenient in location on the east side one of the main streets in green bay. Not the best in price though. Employees are always friendly & always willing to help.

Best little grocery store in Green Bay! Been coming here for years and while an item by item analysis may show that you pay a little more here, the service is well worth it. The department workers, checkers, baggers, even the owner, recognize me and my kids, many of them knowing us by name. Because of its smaller size the produce, dairy, and meat are always fresh and while they may not have 20 varieties of everything the deli items, sandwiches, and subs are the best in town. Great store!

Paul is a great boss and owner at most. The meat department is such a steal with all of the great deals, along with the produce. Cant find cheaper grape tomatoes anywhere in town, especially at the quality!

I enjoy shopping at University Market. The meat and bakery departments are fantastic, the deli has delicious item. But more than anything, the staff and owners are always friendly.

Best prices I can find for many meats, but you get what you pay for in quality.Pretty good all around prices and selection. Id recommend against using their laundry services though. Cheaper and more accommodating places nearby.

Only come here for meat. Best value on grilling meat in town. Best beef you can buy. Pork selection is awesome as well. Its my go to grilling supplier.

Always friendly staff and well laid out store. I know festival is causing them to lose customers but my family will always go here because the employees are always so helpful.

Had bad experience with very snippy cashier and her belligerent manager-will not go back! Never in my life have I had such a disturbing shopping experience! Festival is just as close and they have always been polite there!Couple weeks later and I returned to see if owner Paul said: Contact me and let me know what your concerns are like he did with others who complained-nope, did not respond at allMeant to check back in a few weeks but forgot about it, now it is four months later, I return and look and Paul still never responded but does respond to others! I was a fairly regular customer of the store at one time, now I do not go there and do not recommend it to others

Very nice meat department with great prices compaired to some other grocery stores in town and the deli has the best macaroni salad. Very easy to get in and out without spending a lot of time everything is nicely laid out.
