This store has everything its like a mini Walmart loved it!

We shopping Ingles at 1500 Poinsett Hwy today. When selecting meats, we noticed an employee of the meat dept cleaning the area where the meat is processed and wrapped to put on display for sale.I didn’t seem to think anything of it thinking it was protocol to use a garden hose and a cleaning solution to wash the the meat processing table, floor and walls.What did concern me though was the large tray of ground beef (guessing 30 lbs. or so) unwrapped and sitting on a ledge being exposed to the overspray of cleaning spray from the hose.This was probably an oversight of the employee but isn’t that kinda how this pandemic got started in the 1st place??

I purchased 2 bottles of wine. The cashier did not double bag them. When I got home and carried the bag into my house, it split open and the wine bottles busted on my patio. I contacted the manager by phone and I was told there was nothing he could do. He proceeded to tell me he would show the cashier how to bag the groceries correctly. He had no clue which cashier bagged my groceries so he basically lied to me. I will not be shopping at Ingles anymore.

I love the prices and its very clean.

Prices mid range but rising. Deli has good foods, and love their hot chickens and chicken salads taste home made.

I dont usually shop Ingles, but this Ingles will make me come across town next time to do my shopping. The store was clean, well stocked and if there is a frozen food you cant find Ill bet they have it.

Iam visiting the area and this place is one of a kind. Very well organized, supper clean and the variaty of food is just 5 star. Need groceries? Try it! Prices are bit high, but quality, customer service and organization are one of the best.

Theres a new cashier, short girl named Twanisha whom is not going to last very long at this job. She has a really bad attitude, not friendly like the other cashiers, she has a miserable look on her face and looks disgusted that she has to work. Honestly, Shed be better off working at a warehouse where she has no contact with customers or work at taco bell / burger King where she can be as nasty as she wants with customers and get away with it.next time if I see her I will not go thru her aisle ever again. Other than that everyone at store is friendly. Cmon managers cant you find someone more decent than her?? When she either quits or gets fired I will adjust my review . Also, $90.00 for a frozen 25 lb turkey is insane!!! Serious price gouging. If I see it again its getting reported!! I found a 15 lb turkey at Publix 1.49 lb, now thats more like the way it should be

Quick shopping also great selection of many items. Store is always clean and organized. My husband and I like the fresh cut meats and seafood department.

Lots of good food to be found in here. Nice ethnic food collections such as Indian and Greek. They used to have the absolute best store brand green tea but unfortunately they dont have that anymore. Lots of other goodies in here though. The staff is friendly. Some good basic incense sold here as well.

Ingles has been N this Neighborhood a very long time& unfortunately they Need a little competition to get back on top because they have slacked off, the best thing going IS THE MEAT DEPT.nice selection clean section:: next the Pharmacy staff is nice, area is clean, Bakery is ok Only 1 baker but she is good:: the Hot food area& Deli meats is Hidious:: young workers are not clean, that cooking area looks disgusting, everyone all over the place, no supervision, clutter everywhere...Customer Service Area is ridiculous, Money Order station always broken, they ignore customers while they laugh& talk to each other the Black Stout Customer Service lady (light skinned) is Very Rude, they dont have A handle on the Homeless people that aggressively approach the customers outside the store. The back of the store on the outside homeless people sleep there during the day, trashy area where the trucks unload food...Ingles used to be A great store, they need to improve & maybe a Neighborhood Walmart Grocery in the Area would do the trick.👌👌

The location is good, but they have a very odd cashier. Im a 45 year old professional man. As I was using the self checkout an elderly worker was about 6 inches away from me, staring over my shoulder as I scanned my cat food. When I paid she quickly snatched the receipt from the machine and walked away without a word. I walked up to her and took it out of her hands and walked out the door. Just plain odd behavior.

Few employees pay attention or care. Mask protocols have not been followed ever, even at height of pandemic. Today employee at self-check was so buried in her iPhone (with headphones in…?) that she never noticed I had an item that required attention. I rang it up as a different item and left the store before she even looked up.

Comparing to the newer bigger Ingles this is like stepping back into 1995. With all the competition I am surprised Ingles hasnt updated the stores around this area.

Pricey compared to competitors. If you want they have it. Great selection.

Wonderful experience! I actually went to get my final COVID vaccine. Carol, the Pharmacy manager, gave it to me. She was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and it was over before you know it. I did a little shopping afterwards and the store was very clean and neat. Everyone was very kind. Thank you, Carol! Thank you 🙏🏻 to all of you at Ingles for making me feel welcome!

Mgmt please address your Hot bar. The presentation is horrible. I walked in for a plate and walked out. The food is burnt, dried out and looks like it has not been changed since lunch. I go to several ingles in the upstate and your bar is the worst I have seen.

Great grocery store. They have great selection with good prices. 4/5 only because Ive had issues with the card/chip readers at checkout, and for some reason this Ingles Always has 1-5 homeless people out front, and that makes me sad.

I really dont like this Ingles!! Ive lived near this store for 9 years and Ive never liked it at all!! So much that I drive 3-4 miles past it and pay more to shop at Publix or Harris Teeter. I grew up with Ingles, used to work for them as a teenager! I have several friends and family that work for Ingles in the Asheville area, warehouse and office included. PLEASE fix this store!! The employees are rude and not helpful, even the managers. Definitely not the Ingles in used to.

So pleased with the service and great deli food. Maybe could keep plants watered more otherwise they were nice.

The CSM Kesha was very friendly and seemed to know the store well, she is always quick to help.

Not sure if it is new policy or not but I made my purchase and needed to get some cash back at the self-serve counter. I didnt see any written notification but then was informed by the clerk in that area cash back options were no longer available.

Ingles is a great grocery store. They have a big variety of everything.I was surprised by how many vegan/vegetarian options they have and at a great price.The place to go grocery shopping.

Alot of homeless people nearby please everyone help them out by buying food for them or offer to see what they need! We have to help no matter their past.

Ingles is a little pricey for me, thats why I have it 4 stars. But it is convenient. Store is always clean and staff is always friendly. I love the deli and it has recently gotten an upgrade and looks very nice. They are also like the only place in Greenville right now that stays open late(11pm) besides gas stations, and that is great because sometimes I dont get off til later and need groceries.

Mmmmm boars head I would put Ingles heros upthere with publix. Only difference the nice old lady is nice but not fast at all so if you only got half hour get it the night before she mite have it ready in the morning

Store was very hot and stuffy!!! The little cart I pushed seemed to be worn out and made the whole trip exhausting.

Ingles prices are competitive with a variety of choices! Cashiers are pleasant and fast paced getting customers served quickly!

Cash is not accepted at self-checkout.If you only have a couple items you have to wait behind whole grocery carts While looking at empty self check lines.

I was overcharged. Requested correction and took them 15 minutes to correct. Meanwhile, I am a diabetic and the wait caused me to get sick since I couldnt eat due to waiting game to have transaction fixed. Horrible service. Complaint to management and show no signs of apologies. Wheres customer service?

I like their selection. I finally broke down and got Ingles card. Everything on sale requires that you have a card and the price is drastically different if you dont use the card. They have the Glory brand of vegetables and I would go there just to purchase that.

Ingles is always top shelf. Ive been to three different locations (geer hwy, cherry dale, and locust hill), and I can always find good cuts of meat and good produce, and hard to find ethnic items in store. this is where I shop when I want fancy ingredients, or when I just need to fill in the gaps from a previous shopping trip; their prices are fair enough that I can do both!

I had lost my discount card & the cashier did not offer any help to get a new one. That evening I went again & a young man went out of his way to help me procure a new card.

They do well by me. Occasionally, there are unavoidable problems w/ other guests, but they are great.

Rarely shop here but each time I do, its always a pleasurable experience.

The only ingles in SC where you can buy apples and cocaine.

Ingles Market on Poinsett Highway in Greenville is a quality grocery store that has everything you need on your shopping list at a good value. This store is well managed and organized and it is easy to find exactly what you are looking for as everything is well marked and labeled. The staff here is also very helpful and available when you need their assistance while shopping. I have had a really good shopping experience every time I have been here.

Surprisingly large selection of high quality foods you normally find at health food stores. May not look as nice as, say. Publix, but if you choose carefully you will find great stuff at grocery store prices, not Whole Food prices.

Lacks variety of sweets and the cashiers let homeless people hang out inside of the stores. I will never shop at ingles again

20 Ingles might not necessarily be the lowest price but when you deal with the fact that people like Keisha or Sherry every time you walk through the door know who you are and call you by name makes you feel comfortable and makes you want to come back there rather than go to someplace else where you might get a little better deal we would rather pay more for better service

I like going to this particular Ingles Market. Its Cleaner and it has a better selection of items than the rest of the ingles Market I went to.

I had not stepped foot in an Ingles in almost a decade when I came here today. Not because I had anything against them, but just because I don’t see them as often. I was extremely impressed with the store. Every section looked very well maintained, product was easy to find, employees were pleasant. As someone who usually buys their groceries from that awful, dreaded place that starts with W, this Ingles just felt very relaxing and nice to walk around in. I could not recommend this place more, and I will be going out of my way to shop here more often.
