I went to Garris Evans about a week ago looking for a custom made exterior door. The man behind the desk was certainly not interested in me as a customer. He told me I should just go back to Lowes who suggested me trying there. He would not even look up how much the custom door I needed would cost there. . I give 0ne star for him telling me the difference in a solld wood interior door versus an exterior door.

Friendly staff. Good selection. Decently priced items. Smaller selection of some items than say Lowes but an overall better experience than Lowes.

Called looking for 1x6x6 dog eard fence pickets and was shocked at $4.29 price when Lowes was $2.49 and a NC lumber and supply yard was $1.50 for #2 grade

My contractor suggested us to find windows for the sunroom at Garris Evans. So, my husband and I went to Garris Evans, Greenville for the very first time.As soon as we entered the front door, a lady welcomed us warmly and told us where to find the right person to help us with windows. She told us his name is Antonio.As directed when we got to the window section, we found a young man sitting behind the desk and talking on the phone. At first, he did not acknowledge us and just kept talking on the phone. My husband and I waited by his desk and were sure that he knew we’re waiting. After standing by his desk and waiting for a while, we still did not get acknowledged. We’d like to make sure he knows we’re there and waiting for help, so we invited ourselves to sit down in front of his desk where we found his business card, Antonio Lewis. Hummm, sadly we got ignored AGAIN. Actually, when we sat down neither did he even look at us nor did he bother himself to have any eye contacts with us. While we’re waiting, we stayed close to his desk and within his sight. It’s obvious he knew we’re there, yet he just kept ignoring us like we’re invisible!SOOOOOOO RUDE!!!!!!!!!!So we walked out of the store without hesitation though the lady kindly asked if weve been helped or not.If there were negative stars, I definitely will give negative stars instead of one star! If you don’t want to be mistreated, stay away from Garris Evans!!!!!

Mrs Laura is the best! If you need cabinets she does a awesome job!!! She is very patient and very good listener!!!!

Treated my wife like an idiot. Questioned her on everything she was saying and would help her find what she needed. Just told her the guy she should talk to talk to was busy and to try later.
