We went out to view a few model homes and Brandon was the representative assisting us. He was absolutely wonderful. We never got past the first 4 bedroom / 2 bath that we requested to see. He had a great sense of humor which helps to make large purchases a lot less stressful. He was knowledgeable with the numbers and letting us know we can pick up the phone and give him a call!!! Go see Brandon and you won’t be disappointed!

I have been pricing and looking. Brandon has been very helpful, although I just received an email from another associate in Mobile that just informed me that the prices on line do not include set, or any extras. This is good to know but wish I had known before as I am trying to budget.

Build like actual houses so beautiful

One guy was yelling the entire time. He was huge and so was his loud voice. You might wanna use your inside voice when new customers are in the store. The younger guy seemed pretty new. The houses were seriously backlogged. Almost a year! And only a couple models with floating dry wall.

Went there as a potential customer. My friend gave her information instead. Was shown the cheapest trailer on the lot. When asking about another, the salesperson response was Im not going to show you another one since we get different ones all the time and youre not looking for now. For that reason, I will take my business to claytons homes in Harrisburg. There staff were friendlier and didnt hesitate to show homes because of the time frame for me buying the home.

Things started out well in the beginning. Brandon was very informative and assured hed helped many Veterans in the purchase of their homes. We found one we liked and began the process of procuring ownership. We had a brief communication because information was being sent to the wrong email address. Once corrected, I began to get the needed paperwork. After being approved by VA for the purchase of said home, I felt rushed to digitally sign my life away. Maybe because the Fourth of July weekend was near. I traveled to Clayton Homes several times to negotiate the final price of this $113,000 home which ended up totaling $152,000 with no explanation of how we ended up totaling this figure and seemed offended when questioned on it. After being promised that we would get to the bottom of these figures to which Brandon couldnt explain, communications dissipated. Now I am at the point of trying to recoup my $450 land assessment fee. Called Brandon this morning. Not in (hadnt been able to reach him going on three weeks. Was able to speak with the overall manager Laurin, sorry if I misspelled the name, who tells me they couldnt refund my money which was taken from my debit card in their office. I was then referred to my lender Eland where Calvin Park (Clayton homes VA rep/go between) tells me he didnt know what to tell me. It should have been returned to my account. When explained it didnt happen and Laurin directed me his way, he yells that hes helping me and hangs up in my face. Professional courtesy out the door with all concerned. It is 11:50am and no return call. Clayton homes just ripped off a paralyzed veteran. I am looking for remittance of my money and will tell everyone to avoid bad business practices like this one in Biloxi, ms at Clayton homes. The Better Business Bureau shall get this also. LET THE BUYER BEWARE. AVOID SHADY PRACTICES LIKE THIS ONE IN BILOXI.

Small selection of homes available to see, compared to other vendors. Sales rep was unable to answer any basic much less detailed questions on any of their products. Lot was very muddy, with carpet remnants placed in the mud to walk on which didnt seem to help much. Sales rep was unable to access some of the homes to show, because his key didnt seem to fit the locks. Locally finished trim quality, in the homes I did get to see, was very poor - no attention to detail. Extremely disappointed, was hoping for more.

One of the worst experiences I have ever had with a company. From the sketchy sales rep who has no communication to the manager who could care less. Even the mortgage company has a hard time working with Clayton Homes. First we were told we could get a home in our price range that turned out to be way over our price range. When we finally got the information on a home that we were comfortable with it took weeks to get any thing done to get the ball rolling. The mortgage and title company had difficulty getting what they needed from Clayton Homes on multiple occasions . Then we were told that we would be in our home by June 20th and a week before (after a week of trying to contact our sales rep) the manager told us that was never even a chance and it would be more like July 20th and that our sales rep had lied to us. At this point we had completely removed our fence and skirting bc we were inticipating a new home. Moving on from all the wishy washy answers, delayed communication, and SEVERAL mistakes, i got a call from the potential insurance company that said they were told not to send me anything at this time. When asking our sales rep what was going on (after asking for updates he said he was going to do for over a week now) he told me his manager would contact me. When the manager did not get in touch we finally called him. He then informed us they were cancelling the process. So we went through months of being drug through the mud with this unprofessional company and they drop us. I dont understand it but a lot of time and money was wasted. Please DO NOT ever use this company. It has been a complete nightmare. Now we have to start the process over with our whole life in disarray. I dont know how anyone can treat someone the way Clayton Homes has treated us.

Dont go! Look any where else.

I have looked at Clayton Homes in Gulfport, MS. They have a variety of beautiful homes to choose from. Staff is friendly and very knowledgeable.
