The baristas are rude, or at best, indifferent to customers in-person. I’ve ordered online many times just to avoid interacting with them, yet, still the online orders are rarely completed in 10-15 minutes, and they keep mobile orders behind the counter without having anyone on standby to hand them out so you’re always stuck waiting. I’ve worked at a coffee shop before, there’s no reason to have this much of an attitude, and at such an isolated, suburban location no less.

Snooty employees equals Bad Service along with overpriced coffee. A BIG NO...NEVER AGAIN...

Great location with great baristas! Sometimes I have to wait a little longer for my mobile order when it’s crowded, but that’s understandable. For the past few weeks, my orders have been available right on time.

Normally I have to wait forever to even be able to ask someone about my order and an online order usually takes at least 20 minutes to get. Today, Damien was very attentive to the customers coming in for online pick ups asking for names, letting us know how long it would be. It was a very pleasant experience.

Its a Starbucks and its all right and all but maybe the employees could take about 15 minutes and go outside and clean the parking lot that is full of Starbucks trash if the inside of your business is nice but the outside looks like a garbage can people will judge you.

Waited about 10 minutes just for a cup of coffee. I wanted to use my stars for.a reward and the barista messed up and never used the reward. Not very good service!!! Not friendly at all. What happened to the baristas from before covid? All new people.

Staff is really friendly and welcoming. Place is nice and clean. There’s no drive. The floor is marked for social distancing. Problem is customers do not follow instructions. It’s not Starbucks fault that people don’t listen, but they should tell people to move and where or where not to stand. Like telling customers they can’t stand right in front of the door to wait for their order. My drinks were made deliciously and everything else was great.

It’s 6 PM and it’s closed? Came yesterday around 3:30 pm and it was also closed. Is this store closed permanently? If so please change your hours!edit: The hours on google say they’re opened!

The drinks are good but getting them is another story. These were the rudest Starbucks employees I’ve encountered. I ordered via mobile and arrived 10 min later, told them (William specifically was the employee) the name and they said it wasn’t ready. Waited another 5 min and asked again, not ready. Then waited another 10 and he proceeded to ignore me, despite clearly knowing I waiting (and there were very few people in the store). They weren’t calling out Mobile Order names after each was finished so everyone was confused. I finally walked out without the drink and wasted 30 min.

Excellent service. Prompt and polite. Good safety practices and enforcement. Everyone wearing masks.

This place never has enough staff. Online orders take over a 30 minutes. Waited for my cold drinks as my two hot drinks got cold.

Staff is friendly but service is extremely slow and unorganized. Ive waited 15-20 minutes for a simple brewed cofee with no add ons. Once I was waiting about 20 minutes for a coffee cake and when I asked the cashier about my order she had no record of my order and shes the one that took the order. I also place mobile orders before I go to work and you get there and youre waiting over 10 minutes. The purpose of mobile ordering is so you dont have to wait. They also dont give stoppers to go in your coffee because theyre environmentally friendly. Thats great. However whats the alternative to the stoppers because I spend alot of money buying coffee and by the time I get my coffee home or to work I have wasted about half of my coffee in my cup holders. I am genuinely a Starbucks regular and the hamden Starbucks is a disgrace compared to new haven north haven Woodbridge west haven milford and derby. Yes I frequent each one and I will drive out of my way just to avoid hamden

Courteous staff quick clean

I got up early to stop there for breakfast before work. I got there at 7:30am and there was not a single food item in the case and they told me they weren’t serving breakfast yet...my co worker is a former Starbucks employee and she told me that is absolutely unacceptable and that means they either got there late/and or never turned the oven on. But breakfast must be served at that time considering they open at 5am. I am very annoyed. She said they should’ve offered me a free drink at least to make up for it.

Excellent and friendly customer service; a great environment to study / work. Can get busy, but always clean and well stocked. Very consistent store, clearly well managed. Can get a tad cold of you stay for a while, but that is how most ACd establishments are like. The background music is always spot on too!

I usually like this one it’s close to work and better than the other 2 locations near me. Today was the second time one of the male employees(same one) was rude. They didn’t have pumpkin and he made my coffee light so I asked him to fix it and he seemed annoyed he always looks annoyed when I see him. Maybe he should find a different job. There is a couple Baristas there who are great that’s why I go. Him and the older bigger woman are just rude.

Typical Starbucks location. This one is close to the entrance/exit for the shopping center onto the main street and there is a traffic light that makes entering from the other side of the street easier. Also makes it easier to leave of course if you are turning left across traffic. This Starbucks location has some nice big tables which are great for working on your laptop with some papers or a book spread out in front of you.

I highly recommend this place and the girls are very caring people and they are pretty cool. 😁☮💖 God bless you and your family to all people.

VERY PRICEY, the location is terrible. It is very hard to get in and out of the parking lot. There is minimal parking, as well as many chances for accidents as the lot space is super small. There is always a huge line as if the workers are at half speed. Drinks come out fine, if youre willing to wait 20 minutes and risk the possibility of getting into an accident.

This is a nice Starbucks location. No drive thru, but some nice seating and plenty of free parking. The cold brew salted foam drink is the best menu item this summer.

The staff is the best part of this Starbucks location and will make your drinks perfectly and keep the experience friendly. The space could use a renovation and more comfortable seating. Additionally, and the buggiest issue here, is they’re nearly always sold out of the larger food items. This seems like an obvious stocking problem Starbucks corporate would have noticed by now. They’re always out of salads, flatbreads, protein boxes. Definitely give this spot a visit if you just are picking up a drink to go, but consider another coffee shop if you’re look for food or a place to stay for a bit.

This is like any other Starbucks coffee house in the United States. Have perfected the layout to be the same. They offer prepared foods and can array of different types of coffee and other coffee house drinks. Coffee always tastes burnt to me but ok if you want a variety of types of coffee and lattes. Customer service is good.

I use this Starbucks to study for a change of environment. Good atmosphere and the young college kids they employ are friendly. Ive been here multiple times and they deserve a good rating. Unfortunately it can get crowded at times but you cant blame a business for that (it just means their doing well).

I like the setting. You can stay inside while sit out door at same time. The view is gorgeous at this time.

I generally like this spot and the workers as a whole are very attentive, kind and sweet. And sometimes I encounter clueless, not listening at all, here for friends and not for work workers which only last for a brief moment but it just reminds me that Im dealing with kids.

Customer service here is great, and if youre a repeat customer, it doesnt go unnoticed.

Great shop in a very high traffic area. Service was great even while it was busy. I would reccomend that they restructure the parking lot. Traffic around the plaza was rather hectic. In all, the chai was fantastic and the shop was very clean and well ran.

Good coffee. A bit pricey, but I am willing to pay for a good cup of joe.

They are always clean & nice staff. Yesterday I had an employee with a terrible attitude. Maybe she was having a bad day. She didnt greet me or anything, she just made my coffee and slid it to me on the counter. Hopefully tonight she has a better attitude, if not 💁🏾

Is this place closed down?

This place is the worst. Save yourself a headache and just go to the Starbucks at North Haven. From management down to the employees this place is garbage. The bar to sit and enjoy a drink is always sticky and this time around a spider was on the bar. I asked the lady to make me my order again because it was horrible and she refused to do so which contradicts Starbucks policy and standards. She immediately gave me attitude. So then I said Starbucks doesn’t stand for this kind of attitude in a nice ton and the manager proceeded to kick me out of the store and threaten to call the cops on me when I did nothing what’s so ever. This is stupid. If this happens to anyone just call Starbucks and get your money back and complain. You can also get a gift card for the head ache.

Never Again. 1 guy making the orders. 1 guy ONLY taking orders or simply standing at the register with zero ambition to pitch in.... Mind you with a minimum of a 10 order backup.. A 3rd guy wandering in and out of the back shuffling packets then retreating to the back again. I swear there was no one in charge at 2:15p on 9/15. It would be ZERO stars if it was allowed!

I’ve come here a few times and I’ve always had a good experience but today was a little ridiculous. I came in here to do some work and it’s absolutely freezing in here. Everyone was wearing coats and hats inside the building and never took them off for the duration of their stay, I heard multiple people complaining about how cold it is, even a barista. I ended up leaving because I couldn’t feel my toes...

I Ordered a medium hot cappuccino and by the time I walk to my car I realized my cup felt a little light. I opened it up and it was less than half cup of Coffee. I went back in and the young lady said,”oh that’s the foam and it dissipated”. Starbucks should be ashamed of themselves as pricey as a cup of coffee is they should at lease give us a full cup. I was so disappointed.

Coffee is great. Staff are always pleasant, always busy and coffee is very good. Pastries not so good (they seem greasy and high in calories). I also think theyre too expensive, lol but I like it here.

Crowded right now. It is not usually crowded at all. Alot of times the edge fitness people come in, but not enough to overcrowd the place. Prime location and staff is very polite. They pay close attention to every detail, and they make sure they know everyones name. Ive never had to wait more than three minutes for my coffee.
