Port City employees are always helpful. A ready local business, they are always courteous and available for parts or service on all my appliances. I have been dealing with them for over 40 years and have never had a negative experience.

Ordered a part for my washing machine, would have been here the next day but the delivery driver could not get here because they had the road closed due to the vice president visiting Hampton university. Got the part the following day.

The gentleman from Port City Appliance Services Inc was on time to diagnose an issue with my Bosch dishwasher (the company was selected by Bosch to service the unit, as we thought it might be a warranty issue and so Bosch covered the diagnostic cost). The gentleman discovered that the plumber who installed my new garbage disposal did not remove the plug from the disposal, so the drain from the dishwasher was blocked by the plastic plug so could not drain the dishwasher. The diagnostician KINDLY removed the plug and did not charge for that service!!! I am VERY impressed and grateful!

First time using this company and couldn’t be more pleased. Extremely satisfied with the service. Technician knowledgeable and arrived as scheduled. Price was also affordable. This will be the company we use for our future appliance services.

This was our second time having Port City come to our home for an appliance repair. I highly recommend this company. Very knowledgeable on all types of appliances. The first visit was for our refrigerator and today was for a stackable washer and dryer. Very tidy. Very personable. I had explained what had occurred with the washing machine over the phone so they had the part available and was installed during the visit. Will be using their services again for all of our household appliances.

I needed parts for a clothes dryer repair, and was referred here by a big name store. They had awesome service, and found me a better deal on what I needed, saving me some money, and changing out a few other things on the dryer. I will definitely be using them in the future for any other appliance repairs.

Port City has helped me repair numerous appliances, you tell them whats not working and they just know what to tell you about fixing it. Outstanding service. Went to local hardware store in Hampton and then Home Depot, but nobody there understood I needed a special replacement wire that connects to element heating element in clothes dryer. Didnt get problem solved there.The women at Port City front office knew exactly which wire and connectors I needed. $6 later problem solved.I am sorry to say I have passed by Port City Appliance hundreds of times over the past years. Next time an appliance goes down, I go down to their shop for parts or call for service. Thanks!

I went through an act of Congress trying to fix my washing machine! However, when I was referred to Port City they ordered the part, called me as soon as they received it and although it wasnt an OEM assembly it was just what I needed! Had my washer fixed in 2 days!

Im giving this company 4.5! Best service, good quality, and clean work, and even quick and easy to work with and to communicate as well. Im quite impressed with this company and I plan to use their service someday whenever something broke. If I cant fix something, then Port City Appliance will save the day.Oh, additional note, a fare warning Id say, be prepared if you have broken machine such as washer (like mine,) make sure you prepare yourself because if they dont have parts for it (my parts was not common, they said) then youll have to wait for a bit until then. But after that, everything is good! Just make sure you have extra clothes, or stop by landromat! I had to go commando for two weeks, but not anymore! Finally I can wash my clothes!Thank you Port City Appliance!
