Thankfully, I was able to get my oil change taken care of here. They do have a busy shop and are a bit busy but they are still doing the best they can with the the available bays and a full team of service writers and techs working all day.I appreciate Art for his time and all his efforts to helping me along my travels and keeping my vehicle safe. I would also like to thank Sierra for taking good care of my vehicle and getting it serviced as soon as they could.I look forward to picking up my vehicle soon and Im confident everything will be great. The Sales staff are helpful but there is minimal communication between the team. I conversed with 4 different people from sales and each time I spoke with a different sales rep I had to start from the very beginning on what I was looking for, despite there being a digital file.Also after having selected the vehicle, signing initial paperwork and putting down a deposit, our sales person and a person from the finance department contacted me via email. It was clear that I was just sent a generic email since neither email contained specific information to myself, other than my first name, the financial agreement or the vehicle selected.Due to my personal experience thus far (I have only dealt with Sales), in order for the company to establish repeat and/or life long customers, customer service skills AFTER the initial interaction is an area opportunity to grow. That way it shows they care more about the customer than the sale. Honestly if I had been able to find the vehicle we wanted at the same price at a different dealership, I probably would have gone with a different dealership.This is just my experience so far. I am sure others can offer a different opinion.

Every time I go to this service center there is a problem. This time I went there today for an instant oil change and was told the guy who does it is off all week due to covid. So I wasted a drive there and even asked if they could just schedule me an appt for next week and was told no to come back next week. And what if he wasn’t back next week?! Nothing on their website shows they weren’t doing service for this, this week. Would not recommend to anyone.

I would give 10 stars if I could. We were traveling home cross country when the check engine light came on and the car was sluggish. Was staying the night at a campground and needed a quick repair. These folks got it in diagnosed and repaired within 4 hrs and got me on the road again. I can’t thank then enough for the quick response. They were courteous and helpful, providing a ride to and from the campground. This sort of service is unheard of where I come from!

We had pretty much located the car we wanted the previous month, and we finally found the one to match our expectations here at Heritage, with a fair price to match. The Jeep Compass limited with pearl paint and large display. Sidney was great and demonstrated the cars features to the T. They cleaned and detailed the car for us to take home even though it didnt need it. It was a Saturday, and lots of people buying cars, so we were there a while. The dealership is top notch.

Walked away with a vehicle my wife and I have been wanting for years on Saturday. We were treated very well by Sidney and the entire team at Heritage from start to finish. My wife previously valued cars for a living and can be a notoriously tough sell...but we got a great offer for our trade and the deal on our new 2021 Jeep Wrangler Willy’s edition was too good to pass up. No hard work done i really trust their mechanics &thats big coming from me b/c I think every mechanic is like a dentist you go to get 1 thing fixed &they reveal 11 more issues you must fix/pay for. They sabotaged my vehicle. They did my oil change and when I had issues with my vehicle I was told that they missed the leak and that it would need to be replaced for 1600. I just gave them 1400 a month prior for repairs. I also paid them fix the lock on my trunk and now it wont unlock. And they also forgot to reset the computer on my oil change so my monitor keep reading that I needed an oil change. They are supposed to have 16 years or more as experienced technicians yet they missed all this? Do not take your vehicle to this place.

Service after the sale was very disappointing to say the least. I purchased a car there at the end of September 2020 for my daughter who wouldnt be driving the car until February 2021 when she got her license. After putting 2k miles on the car(I purchased it with 67k miles), the transmission warning light came on and I had to take it in for service. This particular vehicle came with a 12k mile warranty. This particular dealer doesnt work on Ford vehicles, so it was sent to a local Ford dealership. The part is back ordered to who knows when as 1600 other people are waiting on the same part. After many calls to the service department about a loaner vehicle I decided to stop in. I offered up 3 different scenarios that could help me with my issue. Can we look in to getting a loaner car? Can I trade the car in? Can I buy another vehicle if you give me a good/fair deal. Here is how it unfolded. The loaner part was blown off as soon as I made the other 2 offers. They offered me 55% of what I paid for the car as a trade in. I picked out 2 other cars that I may be interested in purchasing. The offer they sent back was insulting to say the least. They were going to give me an extra $200-$300 of the new purchase. Both of these vehicles were in the 12k price range. Ive never seen a weaker attempt to keep my business or maintain a customer 1st mentality. I dont blame the salesperson as he was the one who gave me this update this morning. You sacrificed the salesperson instead of having a manager reach out to give me this unwelcome update. Outside of him reaching out to me this morning, I was the one who always reached out to them after multiple promises that someone would reach out to me.

Absolutely they are one of the best sales team. This is under my husbands name but I bought my car, Im Catherine Carl. I bought a new 2021 Dodge Charger GT the color is Sinamon stick. My sales man was Brad Sumski .... HE was the best. As a matter of fact...everyone there greeted you like you were family. I told Brad what I wanted in a car and he helped me build it. He kept me informed as my car was being built and when it was shipped. The day I picked it up we had thunderstorms when we left to come home, and the wonderful person that he is ..... he called to make sure we got home ok. I have received phones calls from the manager and other staff members to make sure that I was happy with my car and if there is ANYTHING they can do for me ......just call. A water pump on our Dodge Ram let go just as we arrived late on Thursday evening at a Harrisburg hotel. We called Heritage Dodge the next morning and spoke with Kaitlin. We cant say enough about her efficiency and excellent communication skills in working with us and co-ordinating their service team to get our truck repaired by late afternoon the same day. Kudos to Kaitlin and the service team, as well as the repair work that was done!

Tells me these are at there Maryland dealership pricing where they dont have to include things like destination charges and can include every possible rebate blah blah blah. So why is it on your PA website? Extremely shady dealership..they take playing games to a whole new level. Wonder if this is even legal. Very messed up!!!. Took my car in for one issue under an extended warranty and they found two others plus suggestion on extremely overpriced service. Turned out that they didnt cover the original issue and tried to squeeze an extra 350 out of me for the second claim. Then tried to charge me 60 for a part that I got for 20, and 200 labor to put that part in when it took me less than an hour. Good luck trying to get thru your extended warranty claim for less than an additional arm and leg. An update to this bad experience. I installed new brake pads and rotors last September and was told by Tracy that my rotors were bad, my brake pads were less than 4/32 and it would cost me $467 to replace both. This weekend when I took my wheel off to replace a stud. I found a rotor that had almost no wear and brake pads that measured 3/8. I am lost how this large of discrepancys can be overlooked and be part of SOP of this dealership.

My father had an APPOINTMENT on a Saturday afternoon to buy a vehicle. All pricing and vehicle details were decided and finalized prior to the appointment. The vehicle was already picked out prior to the appointment. Paying in CASH, so no financing options were needed. When we arrived for the appointment, we sat down with the salesman and began the process which went fairly well. However, when we were told we had to wait for financing, we waited for two hours. Finally, the payment was exchanged and then we were told to wait for the car from recon to “re-do” the windows. We had already been here 3 hours at this point. So, we weren’t really concerned with waiting for the windows as we figured we could clean them ourselves. So, we walked up to recon and found the vehicle sitting outside with nobody working on it. We got the keys from recon and got in the car to drive down to the sales office, but the car was COMPLETELY OUT OF GAS. Not the best thing for a fuel pump. Beginning to get a little impatient at this point, we found the salesman and informed him of the situation. He searched and searched for a gas can and finally found one but it was empty, so they took it to put gas in it, which took forever. He eventually returned and filled the brand new car from a gas can, but wanted to take the vehicle to fill up with gas. Seems like the decent thing to do. But first, they had to put plates on it. I felt like somebody else could have done that while the salesman went to put gas in the gas can. Finally they took the car and filled it with gas and returned. Part of the problem is their waiting room, well the four chairs in the middle of the sales floor, is not the most comfortable or welcoming place to waste time. When the time came to get on the car and leave, I expressed my disappointment in the amount of time it took to complete the transaction. They didn’t offer anything for the inconvenience. The salesman just acted like it was normal business. All in all, it took 5 hours to pick up and pay for a car that essentially a deal was completed on prior to arriving. Nobody moves with urgency. Lots of staff walking around but it takes this long to finalize a sale?? I personally will never buy a vehicle from Heritage.

I wanted to wait so I could see if any of the same problems occurred before I left my review.I took my Jeep into the service center for service...there were a few problems, such as the radiator, which they changed out. I got it back a couple of days later, but the problem did not go away. Turns out, the radiator they put in had a defect ( this wasnt there doing ) so they changed it at no cost to me and its been fine since.

Worked the deal with Mike over the internet gave us fair pricing and was excellent to work with! We decided to make the 2.5 hour truck across the state because our local dealers could not touch the price Heritage offered.. When we arrived Eddie greeted us outside and helped us the rest of the way! Everything was rather painless and we pointed out a few blemishes that were taken care of right away. Worked with Ashley in finance and after we told her our budget and needs she went to work and played with the term and rate and got us right where we needed to be with the extra protection we wanted! Bought a new 2019 Ram 2500 on June 11, 2020. Sale went fine. It was after with the tag and title that Heritage totally fell apart. Heritage blamed it all on PennDOT saying it was all due to COVID-19. Found out that was not true at all!!! Heritage did not cut a check to PennDOT until July 29, 2020 (I have a copy of the check), and did not submit any tag and title paperwork to PennDOT until Aug 13, 2020 (I have a copy of the PennDOT paperwork Heritage submitted). So in other words Heritage sat on my paperwork for 62 days!!! PennDOT rules say that tag and title paperwork is to be submitted within 21 days of sale. BTW PennDOT has been open since May 29 from COVID closing. Also eight phone calls to the dealer (plus 3 more from my credit union wanting their title) and not one returned and three visits since July 15, 2020 to find out they were not truthful about what they were doing. Ultimately I had to go to PennDOT and do it myself considering I had 2 days left on my temp 90 day registration. You read that right I had to do THEIR job for them!!! I should get the $349 document processing fee refunded due to this. Consider another dealer to buy from. Once they have your money you can expect nothing in regards to help or them doing their job!!

Go somewhere else! The only positive about this place is the salesman we had, Ben. Great guy, very patient, excellent customer service [with Ben]After finding you the vehicle you want, the entire thing falls apart.We had an appointment to pick up a new vehicle, and sign all papers. An appointment at a specific time. 3 hours later we were still there. The vehicle was there, ready, washed etc. The paperwork was not ready. When it was finally time to sit down to sign all the documents, they didnt even know who our financer was which had been approved days prior [hence the appointment to pick up the vehicle and sign papers]. The papers were printing with the incorrect financer with the incorrect interest rate, monthly payment, etc.After half a day entirely wasted we left with the vehicle. A couple days later they called to let us know that they forgot to have us sign a couple papers. Back in we had to go.A couple days later, they called to let us know that we traded in a leased vehicle and not one we owned out right Duh! Of course we know that we traded a lease in. Anyway, because it was a lease they accidentally gave us a $1600 tax credit that we should not have received. They wanted to know if we would come back in, and start over, finance the vehicle at the correct rate and they would get us back to what our payment was etc by applying other credits. Really? ! When we said no, they asked if maybe we could just write them a check for the amount since they [the dealer] were now out $1600. Again no! DISORGANIZED, HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IS GOING ON.I would never, ever, ever recommend this dealership to anyone. Save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere. Its to bad too, because like I said, the sales guy, Ben, awesome.I wouldnt be surprised if we get our new registration in the mail reflecting the vehicle we traded in. WHAT A JOKE!!!!

Our experience started off good and we thought we were getting a specific vehicle being shipped from another dealership. After waiting almost a week and calling multiple times, we found out that vehicle is no longer available for us. We had to call to get every update and to find out that there was no vehicle to wait for anymore. We continued to be sent to voicemail and was told that certain things were not said, alluding to that we made the situation up. Very disappointed in the sale staffs ability to do their job and find a vehicle when the first one fell through. Will never purchase a vehicle through this specific dealership again. I would give this dealership zero stars if possible. Very unprofessional staff and untrustworthy to say the least. I would never go back to this dealership. Drove 1.5 hours to meet with Tina and review a Jeep for our daughter. Not only did Tina confirm our appointment the evening before but so did her manager, Andrew. We arrived at 9:30am and first thing we were told is the car just sold. No apology or valid explanation. Total BS, this car did not just sell the first 30 minutes of opening, knowing we were traveling in from out of town. A total waste of of our time. This is the place I went to after a horrendous experience at Faulkner Subaru in Mechanicsburg. This place was awesome. It reminded me of an old mom and pop place where the employees enjoyed each other and they all took care of the customer. Cody, our sales rep, was wonderful. I could not recommend a place more. Very enjoyable experience and we left with a new (to us) Jeep Wrangler. Could hook your customers up with some snacks though.

Purchased a 2017 GMC Sierra on 7/16/2020 from Heritage Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Harrisburg. While on a test drive, I noticed that the A/C was not functioning properly. This was after their so called “102 point inspection”. I should have just walked away at that point. I still proceeded and went ahead with the purchase of the truck because they did agree to fix the A/C. After getting the truck home, I noticed a huge dent in the roof, along with multiple other dents in the roof, the left rear tire had a slow leak, the wireless phone charger did not work, driver side heater control knob is very loose, among other miscellaneous other small issues. The 3rd brake light lens was also broken. The vehicle was to come equipped with a rear power sliding back window, which was also replaced with a solid back window. The vehicle was never detailed for delivery (interior or exterior). There was still broken glass under and behind the rear seat. There was also still broken glass under the rear head rests. They did replace the 3rd brake light. I believe they only did that because it would have been an inspection violation since the truck had a new inspection sticker. I’ve made multiple phone calls and have left multiple messages for management to call me back. They have repeatedly “stonewalled” me for the last 3 weeks. I finally got in touch with management today just to find out that unfortunately there is nothing that they can do for me. Their response was “well...you didn’t see it and we didn’t see it, so there is nothing we can do about it”. Unfortunately for me, I will NOT recommend this dealership to anyone. Very poor and unprofessional business practices! It almost reminds me of one of those “Shady” used little car lots that love to take advantage of everyone. I expected much more from this dealer considering their size! I HIGHLY recommend taking your business elsewhere! There are plenty of honest businesses that would be glad to have your business. And please...do not respond to this review by telling me that you are sorry about my experience would like me to call and talk to your manager You have my number...you can call me!

Brought my truck in to get looked at.. didnt have high hopes.. turned out i needed another engine.. wanted to look into a new vehicle.. was told to look on the lot and someone would be with us.. well my wife and i looked up and down the area.. no help was available.. continued to walk to toyota side.. soon as we inquired we had a salesperson.. long story short.. i drove off in a new/used toyota.. what started off as a bad news trip to pick up my vehicle turned out to be a good day after all.

Freedom made our car buying experience one that we will never forget! After a less then stellar experience at a closer dealership to us, we decided to find a different dealer to look at new Jeeps. Freedom was at the top of the list. From the moment my husband and I walked in the door, we felt like we were valued rather then being another number. We experienced an issue with the vehicle we bought (not the fault of Freedom) and every single person at Freedom was willing to do anything they could to help us in our next steps. Our salesman, Sidney, and the rest of the staff were so incredibly patient with us. We couldn’t have asked for better. That is true customer service! Their mission of being a “life improvement business” is taken very seriously and is incredibly impressive. I am in the car business myself, and to get this kind of service is very hard to find. Thank you for the awesome experience!

About 3 yrs back, the wife and I were heading to Buffalo. My Jeep developed a electrical problem and high RPM, etc! We pulled over and located Freedom as the closest dealership. Called them and made the stop in. The lady in service department was really nice to us, and the manager in the shop was super great! Very professional and helpful. They took in for repairs immediately.A dealership back in Maryland said the sensor light was ok for my travel and they would correct it when I returned. Turns out that was the Wrong move! And It cost me $700.00 for repairs since my warranty was up, and was a 4 hour wait. Our 6 Hr drive to Buffalo turned into about a 11 Hr journey. I believe the service department made a note of this to Jeep Corporate office. The folks here were so friendly and kind, my wife sent them a care package. THANKS FREEDOM
