A super world class national treasure. Loved everything about this place. A real vintage gem that needs to be preserved. Everything was perfect......food was out sight.
Talk about a perfect diner!! Everything from the location to the menu to the food to the service and price! This is what the definition of a diner is. The food was great. And I love the price structure where you even have things like 1 pancake and 1 egg which was perfect for my daughter. We now have a stopping point on our drive home from NYC!

I had been there a few times but some days we get a good host some days there just rude host but I still come because its the only diner I find that is dine in.

Food was good. My bagel wasnt cooked how I asked. Took us over 40 mintues to get our food. People the ordered after us got their food and left. A little ridiculous if you ask me.
The food was excellent! Way better than Ihop! My family and I had omelets and they were amazing. The waitresses are polite as well. Aside from the patrons talking across the diner about politics it was a great experience and we will be frequent diners.

Ive eaten here about a dozen times in the past month and a half. The waitresses are very polite and are really nice to me. They talk with me about the weather, how my day is going or how my meal is. I do wish they could have longer hours of operation. I know they are open for mostly the morning and lunch customers. But a couple of days during the week I wish they could be open for dinner. Their Double Decker Cheese Burger is the best that I have eaten in a long while and well worth the price and that is really low for the size of the meals there. I have been there with around four of my friends and all of them have had nothing but great things to say about the food, the price and the service there. I will be going back there again pretty much on a weekly basies.

The waitresses there..especially ours..are incredibly kind,efficient and friendly. Plus the food is AMAZING! Husband and i had eggs benedict and buffalo chicken omelet. Holy YUM!!👍👍👍

East shore diner is SOLID. Much like a good offensive lineman in football, This place comes to play, isnt flashy, but protects you for the days hunger. Much like a serviceable player with a good contract, ES was a great value with a good price tag. Although this 66 lineman is not sexy. The area was not very appealing, and the inside of the restaurant was not refined. East Shore wants you to be the days champion and the solid food and good service send you on your way for a game winning drive!

I ordered the ham lover, I believe its called and let me tell you I was blown away when I got my plate that ham steak was like 24 ounces and it only cost like nine bucks or so it was delicious the five eggs I got were delicious the home fries were amazing the staff were awesome the owner is the cook he was excellent hes a Cowboys fan and one other thing the Coke was actually pretty good Coke and a smile!

The East Shore Diner, located on Cameron Street in Harrisburg, PA is one of a few of the old style diners still in existance today. It is quaint and full of vintage atmosphere. Old signs.....old license plates.....and a juke box. The food is great and very reasonably priced. I recommend this place highly.

I love a classic diner, and this place has everything you could want and more. From diner staples like meatloaf to the old school stainless steel decor. Bonus points for having pickled eggs and beets on the menu!

I may have been there at a bad time. It was just before noon. The diner was nearly empty. I ordered a grilled cheese with bacon. Nothing too fancy. It was served nearly cold. And was also very dry. My waitress was very sweet and enjoyable to talk with. This Diner had an average of four stars which is why I wanted to find out for myself. Perhaps I should go there for breakfast since that seems to be what most people enjoy about this Diner. On the positive side it appeared quite clean.
I have been eating here since I was a kid and the prices only ever EVER went up by 10¢ and the quality of the food has ALWAYS been amazing. The quantity of the food is worth so much more than they charge! This place is a hidden gem!!!

Me and my husband been going there for about 11 years had try others diners around but non do the western omelet and the homefries like Bill does. Never had a problem with anything there. People that complain about food taking long need to realize this is a one cooker place with it made it consistent in flavor on the food. You will always experience same flavor when you order your favorite plate in there. East Shore Diner 100%

Friendly place, cool retro vibe. Highlights from our one visit (passing through) were the cheesesteak and egg breakfast sandwich, the Southwest scramble with chicken, peppers, onions, eggs, and the awesome thin-shaved home fries. Kid-friendly too.

This is our go-to diner. Always a great time seeing Bill and the family, and the food is just as good as the people. I always get the 222 special that comes with the two eggs any style, two pancakes/French toast, and two slices of bacon. Two eggs scrambled with cheese, 2 pancakes, and bacon well done. Can never go wrong. Everything on the menu is home cooked and tastes delicious, but we typically stick with the breakfast.This old school diner has amazing decor, friendly people, and affordable food thats fulfilling and tasty. Overall, this is one of the best diners in the area, with a great breakfast menu and a family atmosphere that will keep you coming back each week when you live down the street.

Went to this place and not a single person working there was wearing a mask despite customers being there. The crowd this place attracts doesn’t wear masks upon entry either. Automatic one star for this sort of negligence during these times. Also, this place looks like a pile

Been here a bunch of times. Its our go to for brecky in Harrisburg. Allways good and hot. Typical diner food. Cheap and lots of it. I usually get the steak and eggs. Great although if you want it medium rare gotta ask for rare.

I love going and eating at this diner. The food is great and the owners are really great people and I love talking to them. It is so cool the juke box that plays 45 records instead of cds. The people who work there are also great. It is a great place to go and relax.
