Ive used them a few times for Skag and Hustler parts. If they dont have the part in stock, they order it and charge you for shipping to their store. If Im going to pay shipping, the parts should come to my house. Find a better distributor and Ill wait a few days before I pay for shipping.

Will never be going back to Golden Valley Tractor. Had a trailer tongue repair there a while back, needed more trailer work done a few months later and was told that they never work on trailers and was hung up on. Just left there now after inquiring about ordering mower blade spindles and was met with very rude customer service. Employee basically shut me down and walked away. I was going to purchase other things while in store but I put them back on the shelves and left. Nice to read these other comments and see how bad they really suck all the time apparently

I called them to have them service my tractor and they acted like they didn’t care to do business with me once they found out I didn’t buy it from them. I ended up taking my tractor and mower to Heartland Tractor south of Harrisonville and I got the excellent service I was looking for. I would not do business with Golden Valley Tractor after I was treated the way I was.

If I could give it no stars I would. Got algae in the tank of our Ford tractor. Sent it to Golden Valley. The mechanic could not get the injection pump to prime after cleaning fuel system, so he diagnosed a bad injection pump. They then proceeded to tell my grandpa while I was out of town that the only option for an injection pump was to get a junkyard one. I personally know of three companies in Kansas City that will rebuild these, and it took me two minutes to find a new one online. Fast forward they deliver the tractor with the used injection pump on it, leaking like crazy. Grandpa says take it back. They get it back in their shop and say that the injection pump is bad and leaking. Needs replaced. So my grandpa buys a new one, after I show him you can get one online, and delivers it to them. The mechanic installs the new injection pump, and then can’t get it to prime. He calls my grandpa, who tells him to call the manufacturer. The manufacturer walked him through the priming process and he gets the tractor to start. This leads me to believe original injection pump was never bad to begin with as he clearly doesn’t know how to prime one. And they charged 2000 in labor. TWO THOUSAND to clean a fuel system and replace a pump that takes 2 hours. I went in to talk to the owner about this, and the fact that our throttle linkage was broken on delivery, and the idle screw was idled way up so that they could move it despite the broken throttle lever. The owner agreed with me that the junkyard pump was not the only option but did not have anything to say about the fact that his employee told my grandpa that was the only pump they could get. Then I told him that I thought our pump was never bad to begin with since the tractor only has 1000 hours on it and has been well-maintained. And the notes clearly showed that his mechanic was in capable of priming the system on both our original pump and the new part. The owner then told me that since the junkyard pump made the tractor run that had to be the issue. Anybody with a basic diesel knowledge knows, that since the junkyard pump was leaking from every possible place, It was also letting air out. Which means as soon as he started to crank that tractor it was priming itself because it was leaking all over. Which would’ve made it very easy to prime and start. Unlike a healthy pump. He also did not even address the throttle linkage issue that I brought up to him or the fact that they idled the tractor up permanently to try to mask that they broke the throttle. They ended up giving me my old injection pump back, and telling me that if I put it on the tractor and it runs then “we would talk “. I am going to put the pump back on the tractor when I get in town. And if it runs I am going to ask for all the labor cost back. This is NOT how you do business. Learn from others’ reviews. This place has a terrible reputation. For good reason.

This is a great New Holland Dealership. My neighbor is their main technician and he really knows his stuff. So do all of the other techs there. Most of them anyways. They also do lawn mower repair and maintenance. Its a good shop.

I wish I would have read the reviews before I went there. Service was horrible and the attitudes were worse. A zero is too high plus a very expensive lesson for me. They literally lost parts on my tractor and I dont have them replaced yet. I lost a month to them and still didnt get the job done.

Horrible service and attitude, they fired the last service manager but the attitude remains. Now Im stuck with a Mahindra tractor that wont stay running and since they only have 1 mechanic the cannot service what they sell in timely manner at all.The last mechanic and manager accused me of intentionally adding metal shavings to the fuel.I wont be back.Horrible management created this pitiful environment.

Not a perfect experience, to be fair people do make mistakes & this one wasnt huge.Took a PTO(Power Take Off)Shaft from my tractor that had split apart while tilling our garden into them to see if they could fix it & he said that they could. The young man that helped me asked if I wanted it the same length or if I wanted the new one to be longer & I said to go ahead & make it longer, so he wrote the info down for the service department with the new length & said it would take about an hour & that they would call when it was done. After 5 hours & no call I decided to swing by & see if they where finished with it & they were done, but, it was the same length as before. They offered to re-do it, which was admirable, but I told them that I wouldnt be back in the area for at least 2 weeks so I took it as it is. Small complaint.I was very pleased with the quality of workmanship & with the politeness of the employees. A perfect visit would have been 5 stars.

Went to have my scag mower deck checked out for levelness of deck. I thought it was unlevel and so they told me to level it would cost about $40 and take about half an hour. No problem I agree. They take it back and check it, never adjust anything, bring it back out to me and say it was already level and still charge me $36. For what? They didnt do anything. Place has horrible customer service and rips you off. Take your stuff and buy your stuff elsewhere and save yourself a headache.
