My alternator died on me while I was in town visiting my parents. I needed to get home for work and they were able to replace it and get me on the road on very short notice and my car is still running great. The shop is clean and organized, the owner is friendly and extremely professional, and the price was certainly reasonable. This is the first review I’ve written for a mechanic shop but I would highly recommend them.

Greg the owner was very nice and so was Richard the office manager they did the work and no time flat but charged me $90 for labor and I just cant afford that! Great mechanics if you can afford them!

Paid them like $400 to fix my shifter rod because a plastic piece had came off to where it attached to the gears and 2 days later after getting it back it was doing the same thing as before. Called them and they basically said they didn’t feel like spending that much time on it

Weve dealt with Greg several times and he has been wonderful. He had gotten a very expensive ring out of the heater core of our car that no other shop would even attempt to do. I was worried because Ive seen many reviews about shops taking what they find and then claiming they never found it. However, Greg and his guys got the job done! We have also taken our cars and my mothers car for several different repairs and they have been wonderful! I cant speak for others, but when it came to our vehicles he always stood behind his work and fixed anything that went wrong even if it wasnt directly his fault.

Very reasonable priced vehicle repairs from highly experienced mechanics. I have recommended them to friends many times. Each time has been a pleasant experience with employees and owner. Whether you need a simple oil change, new transmission, or a rebuilt motor this is the place to go.

In Nov/Dec 2019 carried my 74 260Z to G & S Auto & asked for a compression check on the engine because if it was bad I had a good engine to replace it with. Greg asked me to purchase a fuel pump & I did. After a couple months passed, Greg called & claimed he cleaned the fuel tank & checked compression and now realized the engine was bad. He charged $840.00 and asked me to bring my other engine. He swapped the engines. I had to purchase clutch kit & manifold gaskets for $247.00 to be installed while engine was out. Labor for swapping engines & installing clutch kit & manifold gasket was $1300.00. Now we need another fuel pump for this engine. Fuel pump & labor was $327.00 and he called to say come tow car in & get someone to fix carburetor & then tow car back for him to finish. To sum up, I towed my car to Greg, he charged me $2467.00 labor, $467.00 additional parts not including cost of second engine & I towed car home 4/13/20. During the time the car was in his procession it sat in the parking lot in the same spot more than inside the shop. He was very difficult to reach by phone and his price is ridiculous. As of today, the fuel tank I paid him to clean still had old gas in it...What a rip off..

First let me say the first time I used them my experience was really good. The next time not good at all. I took my sons truck in for a possible fuel pump replacement and a to have a new fuel filter put on. When I went to pick up the truck they told me it wasn’t the fuel pump but the fuel tank selector switch was bad and they put a new one on also they stated they couldn’t replace the fuel filter because they couldn’t get it off. But they would loan me their tools if I wanted to attempt to remove it. They broke my sons dash trying to push the new selector switch in and just left it hanging out of the hole where the old one used to be. The dash bezel is $239.00 to replace what they broke. So for a broken dash and a switch they charged me $176.70 .Not cheap.Also if I wanted to work on my sons truck I would have never taken it to a mechanic. Not saying they are bad people but I won’t be taking anymore vehicles to G&S Auto.

They are too expensive. I spent over 900.00 on air conditioning and still dont have it. They never did get it working right
